[7.0] "Was it bad? Nah not at all. Just over stayed its welcome in my opinion. A bunch of high spots that don't necessarily help the match. I'd honestly say all the stuff Andrew's and Webster was doing in this match didn't really mesh well with the other two teams. And if gyv the champs were the ones taking the pin what was the point in this being a three way when we easily could've just had it been a 2 on 2. And then gallus was hardly even involved in this match? Enjoyed it but it didn't exactly do what I expected it to to for me. (***3/4)"

[3.0] "You really have to care about both empty tag team ladder spots and the successful babyface triumph of Mark Andrews and Flash Morgan Webster to enjoy this match. I do not so I did not. I'm very glad that the crowd had such a good time with it though, that's what counts more than my dislike of the action. It isn't one of the worst matches ever or anything but I do not really like it, and there's no part of me (even as someone who had insane obsession over the WWE in the late 2010s) that has any nostalgia for NXT UK other than the Gunther/Bate and Gunther/Ilja matches."

[10.0] "This is one of my favourite matches of all time. Mandrews and Webster were amazing babyfaces that even though I didn't know them going in, I cried when they won."

Coffey and Wolfgang had some cool spots. GYV, Flash Morgan Webster and Mark Andrews had great in-ring chemistry. The phycology and pacing of this match was excellent. This was an awesome tag match."

[10.0] "Such a good match wow, so back and forth from all teams, crowd was great, constant action and just when you think its done they pull the rug out from under the whole thing and give you a great match with a ton of anticipation. Absolute classic that clearly does not get talked about. 10/10"

[9.0] "The best Triple Threat Tag Team I've seen so far. I love this match. Spots you want, they are huge. The crowd behind the locals explodes at their victory. A very nice celebration with their post-match audience where the pop is so loud that the hardcam shakes. (4*1/2)"

[10.0] "I never heard of Flash Webster or Mark Andrews before this, but they won me over right away in this match. This is definitely one of the best underdog story matches in wrestling, especially in the modern era. The hometown Welsh crowd wanted them to win, but no one really believed until the bell rang 3. Also, this was my first exposure to the Stundog Millionaire, 9/10 move with a 10/10 name."

[9.0] "This was a truly fantastic Tag Team Triple Threat. Andrews & Webster played the role of the underdog, hometown faces well. Plus, GYV and Gallus are both good heel teams. This match just continued to surprise me time after time, and it ended up being the second best match on the show. Gotta love a good hometown win, and this was exactly that."

[8.0] "Random epic ass spotfest. Just fun wrestling which is my favorite with a major hometown title win. / 7.5/10 / Slingshot into a nasty canadian destroyer."

[8.0] "I usually don't like this kind of match- the psychology of it is dumb, it requires guys "laying out" which is way too prevalent these days, and it's necessarily a spotfest. This turned out great. It had all of those problems, but the storytelling of it was the best I've seen in a match like this. There were several great high spots, including many that were extremely creative, including the finish. A little long, but these guys all got to show their stuff and it was thoroughly entertaining."

[9.0] "Heading to the arena, Subculture had the clear advantage as hometown heroes & underdogs as well. That aspect was maintained till the final moment excellently while GYV functioned as a well-oiled heat magnet bringing a feisty side of action. Gallus looked like the third wheel initially but felt prominent enough once they had their spotlights of recovery. They acted the role of boosters to the more focused duos really well. For some, this might've felt like an overkilled spot rally, but I'm one among the fans that enjoyed the action that was blown away by the vibe of Cardiff. Subculture had their hallmark highlight of winning the titles in their turf & it led to a pretty decent reign. 4.5 out of 5 stars!"

[9.0] "It's just a spotfest match... but God damn is it fun. Gallus felt like the third wheel of the carriage at times, as FMW & Andrews and GYV were the real stars, but what a ride. Many heart stopping falls that kept you guessing on who was gonna win, incredible tag team combinations, a very hot crowd, this entire package was hella fun."

[8.0] "It's just a spotfest match....but since I love spotfest matches, I really liked this match. Oh, and I have to mention the huge pop Webster and Andrews received after getting the victory"

[9.0] "oh its good, i dont really have much to say other than heart stopping near falls, flippy shit and one of the best babyface tag team performances ever. such a fun match that flies by. 4.75 stars (why was gallus in the match)"

[8.0] "I think it would have been a much better match without Gallus, who didn't really find their place and they looked more like filler, you couldn't believe at any point that they could win. The last few minutes of the match are also the ones that really picked it up, thanks to the near falls between the champions and Andrews & Webster. It was only natural that the crowd would explode at the end, regardless of the result."

[9.0] "This was a brilliant three-way tag in which everyone got to shine and have their moment, it reminded me a lot of the spotfests we usually see in PWG when three teams are opposed. Except that here it was much more logical and much more than a spotfest, sure this match is focused on spots and there is no big psychology around it but this match tells a real story. The story of Mark Andrews & Flash Morgan Webster. Two guys with a not-so-flamboyant destiny in NXT UK, who couldn't make anything great in solo competition and decided to join forces and gain some momentum as a team to go after those tag titles, they who had been going for gold for years but could never win anything in the British brand. This is a team who was built very well, and their use in this match to build their legendary moment was absolutely perfect. This match was really written to perfection, it was centered around this wonderful team of babyface and everyone involved in the action as well as the writing of this match are true geniuses because their win was truly epic. They did what they thought they could never do, in front of their hometown crowd, in their country on top of that, this is gold stuff and this is how you make stars. Gallus and GYV deserve credit too of course, it wasn't easy to put two heel teams in this match but they did a great job as well. A twenty minute sprint with fantastic action, great booking, perfect writing to lead up to the moment of Andrews & Webster and most importantly... a RED HOT crowd. Awesome three-way dance here."

[8.0] "Really fun tag match with standout performances from Andrews and Webster. But it seemed like everyone else was just along for the ride. The Young Vets gave pretty good performances too and had some nice spots but Andrews and Webster overshadowed everyone here. Gallus were easily the least impressive of the bunch, having very little memorable spots and basically no teases that they could win. Still a good match. ****"

[3.0] "This didn't have very much that appealed to my taste. A lot of go-go spots but many of them didn't wow me that much, and I thought there were far too many attempts to make "moments", all the hand wringing after a kickout was too much and I'm particularly not a fan of the shtick where suddenly everyone stops wrestling to give each other MEANINGFUL looks, and maybe they'll have a stand off and look at each other for a while, and it almost always takes me out of the match because it feels more contrived that even the most elaborate spot. It wasn't the worst I've ever seen but I was not a fan. But hey, it worked for the fans it was intended for, and that's genuinely the most important thing."

[6.0] "Decent match, but not nearly the blow away that many make it to be. A rolling spotfest that had a few good moments, but a lot of questionable spots throughout. Very difficult to appreciate half of what went on when there isn't time between moves to digest it all. Still perfectly fine, but far from great."

[9.0] "Well, this whole match was amazing with Webster and Andrews having to survive 2 bigger heel teams. Eventually, Grizzled Vets and Morgan/Webster having to work together to chop down Coffey/Wolfgang was cool. The crowd was going crazy and the finish was sweet. (****1/2)"

[7.0] "Felt like by the end this was a bit too lengthy, but all in all it was good fun for sure. Webster & Mandrews were very solid babyfaces, and the two heel teams served well in their roles, especially Gibson & Drake."

Talk about awesome spots, talk about crispy-clean wrestling, talk about a crowd hotter than fish grease completely behind the protagonists, talk about telling a captivating story perfectly, this tag match might just be up there with the best of them when we talk about takeover tag classics. Fantastic from start to finish, this match is one of those that remind you why you are in love with pro wrestling."

[10.0] "What a tag team match. The three teams utilized the stipulation of this match incredibly well and once all of them got going, it was amazing. Lots of false finishes, storytelling, and great moments and it has a wonderful feel-good moment by the end of the match with the hometown boys getting the win and capturing the gold."

[6.0] "The crowd was hot for this, given that they were all supporting Webster and Mandrews, their Welsh compatriots, but I found this to just be a very basic spotfest. Webster and Mandrews had fun, flashy offence, but it was also pretty basic, meaning that they didn't stand out from 99% of other top high-flyers in the scene. I still appreciated everything they did, but not to any significant level. Then we had the other two teams: Coffey & Wolfgang, and Drake & Gibson, the former of whom were solid powerhouses, and the latter of whom were solid bruisers. They were decent, but got saddled with playing the evil heels for the babyfaces to struggle against, meaning they were a bit too comical and sadly didn't get to face each other too much. The 3-way tag spots came out, and they were all fine as well, but everyone was going overboard trying to make this an epic 'do or die' match, and I didn't connect with the match on that level, so the atmosphere just felt odd. Still an alright match in the end. ***"

[7.0] "This was a fun tag match that happened to have Gallus in. I think one of them hit a nice dive to the outside but they really didn? t offer much at all. Webster and Andrews looked really good here. In front of the Welsh crowd, they really brought it and was easily the best part of the match. The Young Vets was a great foil for them as well. Should? ve been a standard tag match though without Gallus. ***1/2"

[9.0] "Awesome match, Mandrews & Webster did an great job portraying the underdogs and GYV were good portraying the brute heels, both teams kept the crowd on fire 100% of the match. Oh, Gallus were there too. ****1/2"

[9.0] "This was supposed to be a match that ran at a speed of 180mph, and it was everything it should have been. No dull moments throughout the match, a ton of great spots all over the place. My personal favorite moment was that sunset-flip piledriver by Flash Morgan Webster. The crowd was so pumped up for the hometown boys, and them actually winning made the match even more better. ****1/2"

[8.0] "An highly entertaining all out spotfest, with great interaction among the three teams and the hometown heroes shining in a match that has been planned to make them the main characters. I loved once more the heelish tag team action of the Veterans, one of the best thing coming out of NXT UK. The winning moment for Andrews and Webster was really a great one. ****"

[9.0] "Great match. Fantastic spotfest. All 3 teams brought it and had a really fun match, lots of creative spots and encounters. Gallus/GYV took turns beating down Webster/Andrews only for them to come back in the end. The final few minutes were incredible. ****1/2"

[10.0] "This match was absolutely incredible. The hometown babyface team spent 95% of the match tagged in against two heel teams. Always been a fan of Flash Morgan Webster but thought that they were doing very little with him over the past 12 months. What a match. Andrews and Webster were flawless in this match. Drake and Gibson were awesome as well. There were at least 3 nearfalls where I thought the match was over, especially considering how much the WWE often enjoy making the hometown heroes do the job."

[9.0] "The crowd was really into Flash Morgan Webster and Mark Andrews as they where the ? hometown? team. They where also hitting an insane amount of high spots. The Grizzled Young Veterans played the heel team very well in this format picking their spots on when they would be involved in the match and Gallus where great at being bases for the high flying teams. ****1/2"
