Unless we Were graced with a certified banger, anything less would have been of great disappointment. But ladies and gentlemen of the jury: this was wrestling. If you don't believe me, go back and listen to the NXT fans. They'll tell you. Stephanie Vaquer might have retained, but Giulia, Jaida, and Jordynne are more than worthy enough of carrying the NXT women's world title. Giulia had already done so not too long ago. It's only a matter of time before Jaida and Jordynne have their time. As for Stephanie, don't be surprised if we see her called up within the next year."

She was the obvious designated jobber but they have more than enough women they could have chosen to feature. This match took an age to click. First, it's a four way and a singles match between Vaquer and Guilia or Grace would have been a vast improvement."

[8.0] "A thrilling four-way clash that showcased the best of each competitor's strengths. Giulia brought her trademark intensity, Jordynne Grace dominated with powerhouse offense, Jaida Parker impressed with her explosive athleticism, and Stephanie Vaquer held her own with technical precision. The match had a great pace, with creative near-falls and well-timed high spots that kept the crowd engaged. The only downside was a slightly overbooked finish that slightly diluted the drama--but overall, a fantastic display of women's wrestling with hard-hitting action and strong storytelling. 8/10, a must-watch!"

The high octane action works for these four, because they are either/or the most crafty or technical efficient individuals working on the NXT roster. I felt like there was not a moment in this match where the women felt lost, and were trying to abruptly call a spot, or it felt disjointed. The action was a plenty, and everyone shined. Vaquer the most, of course. What can you say? She's a goddamn star. ****1/4"

Jordynne obviously had some of the best individual spots with her power moves, though Jaida's couple of nearfalls did stand out to me since she was the dark horse here. Giulia did the least overall but she did a good job too. The finish wasn't as strong as the ladder match but it was more consistently good. ***1/2+"

Jordynne was the standout if only slightly and Giulia was incredibly underwhelming for me especially considering the spotlight shone on her. Unfortunately this was the worst match of the night."

I'm not a fan of Fatal 4-Ways and she's also way worse than the other three, but even she played her part very well. This is one of the 4-Ways I enjoyed the most from the last few months. Vaquer and Jordynne specifically were just fantastic there. Great crowd pleaser."

Grace and Parker were good too but Parker honestly felt out of place in this match. She is ok inside the ring but she is over so respect to her. Grace is also great, she uses her strength and power to inflict moves inside the ring and she performs them so smoothly. Vaquer is such an amazing talent. She is so good inside the ring and she is over with the crowd. Her moveset was shown to a great extent in this match. Giulia also shows her technical in ring ability to a great extent. Overall, this match had amazing action and great pacing with each woman showcasing their own unique moveset and combined, was an excellent match. [****.25]"

This would've been stronger as a triple threat, not just because Parker is nowhere near the level of the others but because this has the multi man problem of people disappearing for one on one sequences and minimal actual multiman action. But Steph and Jordynne are great, two of the best women in the world right now."

Everyone got their time to prove why they should be champion though Jaida Parker definitely got the weak end of the stick but had her moments like the triple stack hip attack on the corner. Jordynne Grace used her strength to great effect with that double powerbomb blockbuster assist was dope to see! Stephanie & Giulia could fight forever and I'll still find enjoyable in their matches also LOVED Booker T being over the top with Vaquer head banger move!"

Jordynne had plenty of opportunity to show off what she's about and Jaida held her own despite being the least experienced by far, but Giulia and Stephanie were definitely the standouts. Giulia looked much better here and it felt she was leaning into some heelish tendencies which suited her. Stephanie is Stephanie. She's an absolute star. I hope to see them have another singles match with Giulia being a bonafide heel."

Each showed their individual prowess and the match gave us a few sneak peaks on the possible singles match. Booker T got to moan, seems like that was the spot this match was mostly booked after. Also the visual at the end was done right. Vaquer pinning Parker while Giulia and Grace tried to stop the pinfall. Seems like the next step would be a three way match."
Some Guy wrote on 20.04.2025:
[7.0] "Good match for the women's title. The booking to get here has been wonky. The big story going in was between the champion Stephanie Vaquer and Giulia, Jordynne Grace being an intriguing factor who could shake things up and Jaida Parker there just to take the pin so nobody important had to. Good exchanges throughout the match with some well done near falls. A few clunky spots here and there. Giulia is better off as a heel, she was able to be more aggressive here which fits her style a lot more. Jordynne showed off her impressive strength. Vaquer brings the energy and excitement. Jaida was fine in the early going, but got sloppier the longer the match went on because she was blown up. The ending was a bit awkward with Vaquer whiffing on the dive and struggling to hit her finisher on Jaida for the win. 7.5/10"

[5.0] "The Women's Fatal Four-Way felt underwhelming. Despite the talent involved, the match lacked the cohesion and excitement expected from such a high-stakes contest. The pacing was inconsistent, and the transitions between spots were often disjointed, making it hard to stay engaged. The lack of chemistry among the four women was probably the biggest problem of the match. They didn't build enough tension neither delivered the climax that is anticipated from a "big match", leaving it feeling more like a filler. Given the potential of the women involved, this match was a missed opportunity to showcase the depth of the NXT women's division."

All women had equal chances to be in the spotlight, take it all in, and show their very best in front of an exciting crowd. Despite showing a few hiccups, Jaida was fantastic as the wildcard contender who utilized the most of this match compared to the other three. Stephanie's reign wasn't in jeopardy much at all since she's just getting started, but I'm down for a proper rivalry between her and any of these three as the next plan. 4 out of 5 stars!"

But I am no fan of Jaida Parker. She is green, and it showed in this match. To act like she is on the level of people like Bianca, and Becky, and Rhea, is asinine. She looked so blown up in this. The hip attack looked weak. Good thing she spammed it in the last 5 mins of the match every 30 secs! This is clunky. Everyone looked blown up. Everyone was out of position by the end. And quite frankly, everyone looks pissed at each other, but not in a kayfabe way. And now Steph is squeaking by with wins. Hey, how about we move Jordynne, Steph, and Giulia to the main roster. Where the women's division desperately needs help. And Jaida can continue to develop in NXT. She's young, and doesn't have the experience of the other three participants of this match."

Steph retaining was the right decision and hopefully we get a singles match from Grace, and Giulia soon. The triple submission spot was fun, Steph getting to knock everyone's heads was cool too. Best part was the crowd counting it, drowned out Booker T's letchy noises"

Any combination of these women would have been a more engaging title defense that helps establish the individuals in a more focused light. The Booker T stuff really rubs me the wrong way, just because it is not the type of entertainment that I am looking for in a title match on the biggest NXT event of the year. Nobody came out of this looking better, but they worked a strong match that had good near-falls and went by quickly. ***1/4"

Vaquer is a force of nature, what a woman. She's already so great and to think this is only the beginning for her gives me goosebumps, she's really got it all figured out and deserves to be a career main eventer. I really felt like Giulia and Grace were in their element, but also expected a little bit more from their performances. Parker did well despite being the polar bear in the woods in this match and clearly there to eat the pin."

I don't believe it will be the end of Jordynne/Stephanie, but it was hands down and enjoyable match. Some of the nearfall spots were a bit sloppy (notably the Jaida/Giulia one) but not including that mishap, not much to complain about. The signature and finisher frenzies were fun, and the closing finisher blitz was one of the best moments of the event in my opinion. With all that being said, I give this match a solid 8/10. ****1/4"

It isn't what i expected i expected this to light the world on fire and be a match that is talked about for years but it was just alright. Also i didn't like how jaida parker didn't get much of any time to shine which i felt was odd. I am a bit surprised stephanie vaquer retained the title i was expecting a gulia win for whatever reason. It was alright just not great or anything over the top memorable. But still fun. 3.75 stars"

Because you could've had Stephanie vs. Giulia, or Stephanie vs. Jordynne, but all three in the match feels like too many cooks story-wise. But the match more than makes up for it, because those three women are superlative in the ring and I could watch them wrestle for ages. Jaida was there too, I guess, because someone has to eat a pin."

"[8.0] This match was awesome with a lot of great spots and storytelling that fits right into the long catalogue of NXT Women's Championship bangers. The Vaquer/Giulia storytelling throughout was tremendous. This is gonna be a feud that defines the present and next eras of NXT. Crowd ate it all up. The double submission spot into the slam on Grace deserved so much more love from the crowd. They were pretty quiet except for when Vaquer did the signature move she does--the fact she did it to all the competitors in a row after building up to it the whole match was great! You can just see, look, and feel that Vaquer is one of them ones. Very special competitor. Jaida Parker is one of my favorite superstars in this division, and she really showed out! Her double blockbuster and the triple stack butt splash were highlights. Jordynne Grace demonstrated amazing feats of strength. There were a few moments that fell flat and it seemed like they could've gone harder, like Giulia in the first sequence she had with Vaquer. But this fits right into the NXT Women's Championship catalogue as an excellent and hard-hitting showcase."

Not everything looked super clean but nothing dramatic until the end of the match. And I'm exagerating a bit, it wasn't dramatic, but Vaqueer beautidul dive barely touching Parker (btw speaking of Parker, I'm glad she took the pin, don't know why but I can't stand her and not in a good way) and after that botching her finish left a bad taste in my mouth. I wasn't sure if i would give it 7 or 8 and the ending settled it. I know Parker is heavier than Vaqueer, but if you cn, t lift someone, well don't lift them!"

I did love the overarching narrative of the whole Stephanies spot where every time it got interrupted and chorus of boos of followed and got cheers when it did finally hit. A great match, but could have been better."

I was kinda hoping Jordynne Grace to win this match but each woman brought intensity and presence, and the match flowed well with strong pacing and key moments throughout. While the in-ring work was consistently good and the talent undeniable, nothing quite pushed it into that next gear to make it a personal favorite. Still, a strong showing from all involved and a worthy title defense."

[9.0] "I expected a bit more from the women considering how much emphasis was built on it but for what was given, this never felt boring at all. In-ring was Absolute fire as one would expect. The star power, chemistry, and nonstop action had the crowd electric, proof of how stacked WWE's women's division is right now. But the story was that's where I'm conflicted. Giulia's heel turn had potential, but crowning her so quickly feels rushed, especially with no clear long-term direction yet. Still, when the wrestling's this good, it's hard to stay mad. A fantastic match that deserved a better-built payoff."
HarryKane wrote on 19.04.2025:
[9.0] "This to no one's surprise was also pretty good. This was an absolute masterclass in why women's wrestling should deserve the spotlight as much as the men, four world-class talents putting on a clinic of nonstop action, clever pacing, and crowd manipulation. The way they teased Stephanie's signature move (drawing nuclear heat each time it was interrupted) before finally delivering the hugest pop for Booker T's favourite move ever. No surprises here, just putting the caps on why NXT has the best women's division in the world."

I didn't like the story behind this title defense -- Giulia's heel turn was cool and had potential, but I didn't like the title change, which felt too soon for her and kind of rushed. I'm not sure what they're planning for her now or if they have a long-term direction. The feud with Jordynne and Jaida also felt really rushed into the NXT title scene. Anyway, the match itself was really good, with a lot of crazy spots, but the technical level was also very high. Really curious about how things evolve from here."

The Vaquer x Jordynne segments were great and they mesh really well with each other, leaving me pleasantly surprised. Giulia is Giulia doing her thing elevating all the talent around her, and Jaida Parker was expected to eat the pin, and she did. However, she did kind of show out in her own sequences (ex. w/ Giulia). Also Vaquer doing that knee-head bounce to all 3 of them was awesome. While I do think the show overall was overstacked with too many multiperson matches, this one really delivered. It has done what I suspect was the purpose, it has whetted my appetite to see high stakes singles matches between any of these combatants, and so I might find myself watching nxt again on a regular basis for the first time since the black and gold days. Vic Joseph's 'follow that' proclamation might have been hyperbolic, but this absolutely delivered for the talent involved. With Vaquer's predictable but logical retention, NXT wisely preserved future matchups, particularly by limiting Vaquer/Giulia interactions to tease a must-see singles match down the line"

Now I'm just wondering what's next for Giulia and Stephanie. I would love to see them have a match either at Evolution or Wrestlemania, they really need a big match that's longer than 10 minutes in front of a big stage, i also think that Jaida can be a big star.i loved how the crowd booed the moment stephanie didnt do that famous facebuster move, which is so funny, i like how Giulia has her stardom look, and she's back to her original style which is amazing, the crowd was really behind Stephanie, I liked how they talked about Jordynne making her seem like the underdog in this, and i think a fatal four way was a great choice for them, and i like all the double moves they did and the spots here were amazing, Giulia and Stephanie have AMAZING chemistry, and there moment together was nice. I think Giulia was more herself because in the past it seems like she holds back maybe a little, that triple Hip Drop from Jaida was so sick, and that's a really cool and Flashy move, and that Triple Submission was so cool, you could really tell that the crowd was into this, and that Dragon screw was sickening, and now we know that we know the most famous move of all times name, the Devil Kiss, and the crowd lit up for that, and so did booker. Stephanie has been a great champion"

The NXT women's division particularly strong right now and I thought this match might be the flagship match of the era. Still, a terrific four way match regardless. Vaqueur is over. Grace is always on point. Parker more than held her own. Giulia though, she wasn't quite on her game tonight and it showed with some of the camera cuts when she hit her moves. This didn't touch the women's four way match from NXT Takeover and I hoped it would top that match."

This match was very fun , the person who gave this a 0 doesn't make sense as this match is better than a lot of matches and is no means even near a 0 this was very good. Admittedly, I felt Jaida was sort of out of place in this match, but she ended up proving herself as a solid wrestler and held her own. The other three of course proved their quality as they've done for quite some time now. Stephanie is the one who walks out champ and retains the gold. I thought this was a good call as I felt like Jaida was too green for a world championship and Giulia should be moving up to the main roster as she would work great for the main event scene up there."

Jaida Parker held her own against three of the best in the business today, and Giulia, I see going to the Main Roster, she might get the one-on-one match with Stephanie Vaquer as her final match in NXT before moving to the Main Roster. But what a great match. Stephanie Vaquer is one of the best in this business today. This was easily one of the best matches from this show. The women deserve flowers for their performances in this match."

This show has just been multi person match after match and it's getting pretty tiring now which is not ideal for your biggest show of the year. There some nice spots but nothing of great quality, this would probably have been much better as a singles match between Vaquer and Giulia/Jordynne. Alas they went with the 4-way to get more people on the card and that means a match that is not as interesting. Someone must be going up to the main roster after this"

[6.0] "This was pretty good, a slight improvement over the other NXT women's championship four way that happened recently, but it was completely predictable due to the recent crowning of Vaquer as champion, and didn't do enough psychologically to extend or culminate the feuds that were leading into it. It should have been Giulia vs Vaquer, and Grace vs Parker as singles, and instead of the hybrid of the two building to a bigger, more heated affair, it made the narratives feel flat as the match was pigeonholed into generic multi-women action. I liked the spot where Giulia headbutted Vaquer a lot. Apart from that, this wasn't a statement match for the brand or any of the women involved, it was merely decent fast paced action designed to satisfy the Mania weekend crowd."

Seriously, this would have been completely fine without Jaida Parker in this match, but I guess she did her part and was like mentioned only there to ultimately take the pin for Stephanie to retain. Giulia and Jordynne Grace come out of this match looking really really good, while Vaquer has proven yet again why she is the Champion, incredible performance! All in all, an amazing and very well worked match with a great finish, earning it a (7/10) rating!"

He is the modern day Jerry Lawler and in future when people come back and watch these matches it will not go over well. This was a very fun match from all 4 women and my only real problem with the match was that the winner was extremely obvious even before the match started. Jaida was in this match simply to take the pin. Every woman delivered however and produced the 2nd best match of the night. Crowd was hot for the match and rightfully so."

A few spots were really good : that tower of doom turned into a blockbuster, that fun spot with three submissions in the same time and of course the well-build finishing sequence - also, I love when people throw themselves but are short to stop the pin. I also loved that they teased for a long time the first fight between Giulia and Stephanie that teamed up or were interrupted a few times before they finally collapsed, they also teased really well that Booker-T-enticing move that ended being one of the most over move of the night. The finish was the right one to preserve those two big blockbuster matches that are probably gonna come sooner than later between Stephanie and Jordynne, and the re-match against Giulia. 9/10."
