[7.0] "Definitely the bloodbath that I was expecting Atticus Cogar v Fuego Del Sol to be but it lacked that same drama. The guys came out swinging, really hammering home the grudge match narrative of it and having Mance Warner blade so quickly really set the tone. One of the most disgusting blade jobs I've seen since Eddie Guerrero at Judgement Day 04, something about blood spurting out like a super soaker just takes it to that next level. Following that it's a very solid hardcore plunder match with fun door spots and more blood from Gabe Kidd. Unfortunately they did lose the crowd in the climax so this match does feel rather front loaded, still a great one for the sickos"
[6.0] "messy bloody brawl thats not too captivating, at this point the crowd around me has been died for a while, got back a little for these two but felt like the finish killed it again"
[9.0] "Total bloodbath. I'm not sure I like Gabe fighting the deathmatch style; his forte is definitely the New Japan style. However, Gabe seemed to just love the blood. Mance's blade job was a piece of sicko art."
[8.0] "This match lives and dies by the blade job Mancer pulls off and by GOD did Mancer run that blade well. It's like Mance goaded Kidd into busting him open first so he could get into The Zone and make this into his kind of match with chairs and doors all over the parts of the mat not covered in blood. Lots of solid punching and headbutting with a few door bumps followed; didn't need anything HUGE considering Cogar/Fuego & Sabu/Janela had the more wild deathmatch spots covered. I really loved how the straight brawling sequences favored Kidd while the deathmatch ones favored Mancer, with Kidd being less used to setting up weapons and props for his offense, and how Kidd kind of just collapses into the winning pin, dead weight after one final headbutt. ****"
[8.0] "The finish has me a bit confuddled, and the crowd wasn't super present, but I rocked with this match heavy. Mance is really good at making his matches feel extreme even though he tends to follow what some may call a boring minimalist death match style; a style that's all about spectacle with poor pacing. Mance's blood literally spirting out of his head after Kidd hits him with the screwdriver is absolutely metal. Excellent blade job, though maybe less so when considering safety. Gabe Kidd is absolutely on here, he sells really well and delivers some great strikes while goading Mance on his brash British street kid type way. Gabe is really shaping up to being the best wrestler of 2025 no lie."
[5.0] "I can see the appeal, but this haven't connected so well with me, of course Mance's blade job was absolutely insane, and he started to pour blood from his head like a faucet, which was a crazy look, unbelievable, but other than that, the crowd also looked kinda dead, and didn't participated like they were. It's pretty cool that Gabe Kidd wrestled such a violent match though, he's not used to this style in New Japan, but it fits him very well, and he must love to do it in places like GCW. Grudge match, very rusty, the ending was kinda anticlimactic in my opinion, didn't created any reaction, but good match - {**1/2}"
[5.0] "The mostly dead crowd sucked the life right out of this one and the home stretch was just strange - first they popped up as equals from an avalanche door bridge piledriver on Warner and then a fairly innocuous strike exchange just ended things? **1/2"
[9.0] "with Fuego and Atticus, it felt like that fight was a wrestling fight. this is another level. I cant describe well but like guys who go out drinking on the weekends looking for a fight with anyone. not pretty but damn entertaining. I also think mance knocked himself at the end there. Kidd seemed to have better endurance just winning by a hair. good stuff"
[8.0] "Bloody brawl, Mance's squirting forehead early set the tone and it felt like it could end at any point. Ending felt appropriate after all the carnage."
[7.0] "What a brawl! Gabe Kidd has grown on me this weekend and he put in the work here. Mancer was all torn up from his barbed wire match in TNA and then has another blood bath here. The blood squirting was a bit much even for me (blood does not bother me at all usually). I liked the non-conventional ending as well. What a fight!"
[9.0] "He was squirting blood. OMG! I don't like this yet I still watched it. What is wrong with me. This should have been a 10 out of 10 from me as I always appreciate wrestlers literally giving their blood and sweat for our entertainment but Mance should have won this match. Why they ever put him over against these top names is a question I probably won't get an answer for. Kidd losing this match isn't going it hurt his resume one bit. After all, 90% of the offense taken here was Mance. Dude is a legit psycho. Literally had a crazy barb wire match with Callihan, now this. I would be surprise to see him wrestler without losing blood for once."
[5.0] "This had real potential to be a great hate filled brawl that was full of spite. Alas we just got this. It felt like it went at a snails pace as they went to get plunder and/or struggled to loosen the ring ropes. Sure there was plenty of blood but it was from weapon spots we have all seen a million times. 8 minutes of throwing hay makers at each other would have been so much more that this chore."
[9.0] "Match of the night. The ending wasn't ideal, but it seems like they're setting up a rematch down the road. Everything else was pretty much perfect and exactly what you want from these two guys facing off. Mance spraying blood from his head like a water fountain one minute into the match was an amazing visual."
