[7.0] "Firstly, it wasn't the fault of the combatants for having the arena be half-empty after the barbaric massacre, as they gave their absolute best in delivering a fun closure to a cool tournament for the rechristened International title. Secondly, drawing comparisons constantly to the immaculate three-way at Unbreakable '05 felt a bit laughable as there's no shot in delivering such a highly competitive match with TNA's current roster. No disrespect to the current crop, but there aren't people as talented & well-renowned as those mavericks in that classic. Coming back to this match, it was a well-structured finale where the ongoing friend/enemy tension between EY & Maclin was well addressed, and Francis looked sincere in his work as a despicable giant. If it wasn't for Ace (to honor Bey like he did in the middle of the show), Maclin was my pick for the new champion, who has proved his mettle to hang in there amongst the top of TNA's main event picture. 3.5 out of 5 stars!"

[5.0] "I had high hopes for this match as they repeatedly talked about the incredible AJ Styles Vs Samoa Joe Vs Christopher Daniels match and I just knew when I saw the names in this match it would not be as good as that match (no disrespect I like all 3 but they don't have the same ability in high flying or agility as the famous match) now I did think it would still be good but it was just.. meh especially to become a inaugural champion, I especially thought it would be more wrestling, and more of them all wrestling that's what made the famous triple threat so good they were all wrestling basically the whole match but this was they all 3 barely Interactive (Eric Young barely did anything in the match) and even if they did it probably wouldn't save the match because like the crowd said most of it was boring, rest holds, AJ Francis taughting and nothing really happen other than one or two cool spots, even if they didn't mention the incredible match over and over this still won't be good. it just had big expectation and didn't even try to live up to them"

Obvious lulls were during the AJ Francis heat segment but at least it ended well with Maclin going over. Just shouldn't have main evented."

Many of the fans who remained were scrolling on their phones instead of watching the main event. Multiple chants of "this is boring" broke out throughout the match. Complete and utter apathy from the TNA faithful. Mediocre performance from the wrestlers. Can you really blame them though, when they're being disrespected like this. Poor planning by the management. AJ Francis might never be a good wrestler, but with his overacting and funny facial expressions, he could have a career in pantomime or theatre."

And Eric Young still going strong to this day. I enjoyed this match. Nothing crazy or fancy, very simple but done right. All 3 did a very good job. Congrats to the inaugural International champ. Let's see where this goes. p.s. beautiful title BTW. TNA never misses when it comes to title designs."

Some of the crowd left after the draws (Hardys, Hendry, etc.) wrestled and even more left as the production folks cleaned up the mess Mancer and Callihan left for them. What we had left was a completely fine match in front of a half empty arena. The action was fine, but the vibes kept the match from going anywhere."

[7.0] "Perfectly fine Main Event in itself, just nothing mind-blowing, and for the debut of a new Championship you'd want something more memorable. I like AJ Francis, but the few audience members remaining in the building were a bit to much combative towards him at times. And that's the thing, a lot of the people leaving did hurt this match. The shot of the hard cam with about half capacity was off putting. It's not that people was angry or bored before, they where great for the whole show. But this was during Mania Weekend and there are a lot of shows and activities overlapping, and regardless of the reason behind it screwed with the vive of the match."
