[7.0] "Watching the CC for the first time in a few years (mostly for Mashimo). Jun Saito from what I've seen has a formula and it seems to be popular with the AJPW fan base but he still feels very by the numbers if not awkward (better than Rei though). He is naturally charismatic though. Mashimo did his best here, looked relatively strong in defeat. Still one of the better Jun Saito singles matches I've seen though."
[6.0] "Obviously it has to be important when the triple crown champion has to have a match with a workrate. And this was a great match indeed. Yeah it was long but it's still great"
[4.0] "I don't know what it was exactly, but it was this match that really took my interest in what was going on at the show away. Maybe it was because this match lasted almost twice as long as all the previous matches on this show, and I don't think the running time was justified. The action was pretty sluggish. **1/4"
[7.0] "This one never got particularly dramatic or exciting but it was structured very well with the right winner. Mashimo did a good job with the arm work and got plenty of it in before Jun, as he should, made the eventual comeback and eventually put Mashimo away despite showing some resiliance. ***3/4"
[7.0] "This was a very good match with Mashimo doing some great armwork which was sold very well by Jun Saito throughout the match. Very good last minutes with some impactful moves and a really resilient champion overcoming a tough Kengo Mashimo - ***1/2"
[7.0] "Kengo tried his hardest to work over juns arm for the win while Jun did his normal offense but it definitely worked better for this matches pacing and story more so than any of juns title defenses for me thus far."
[7.0] "1st good match of the tournament only seen mashimo 1 or 2 times before he was great here working the arm Jun sold the arm much better than his brother did earlier that night crowd was invested too probably the 1st match I'd recommend you watch of the tournament 7/10"
