[10.0] "Matches like these are way I love AEW. Just 3 good wrestlers hooping for 30 minutes is sick. Ricochet was amazing as a heel and the other 2 delivered as usual."

[7.0] "[3.5*] I honestly thought this match was fantastic. I am not the biggest fan of these PWG matches so I was very surprised how much I enjoyed it, I guess I was just in a good wrestling day. What made me like this match the most is that it was not the kind of spotfest where the wrestlers carry themselves in all seriousness, but instead they embraced the comedy aspects and did a fantastic showcase performance. Of course we had the crazy bumps and spots, but silly jokes like slapping Ricochet's head are always welcome, specially after two boring-ass matches where the crowd was completely quiet. It was a little bit longer than I wanted tho, too many nearfalls at the end, but still a fantastic and surprisingly great experience."

[7.0] "I don't mean to ruin wrestling for you, but someone needs to tell Speedball to stop calling the match like it is Japan or the indies. This guy claps more than anyone else I have seen. Even Omega got in on the obvious claps. Been looking forward to Bailey's output in AEW. I have a whole year to catch up on. Nothing terribly impressive so far. This match had ideas, but was ultimately just one guy doing a move to another guy over half the time. Again, some cool ideas, like a backslide pin attempt pushed over by the third guy and then he decides to roll them back over into a double pin. I have seen Speedball do the flip into knee injury thing in almost every match. That doesn't do it for me anymore, sorry. Crowd woke up a bit, but they also sunk this like the rest of the card."

[8.0] "Classic Kenny Omega in this match, with a mix of speed, intensity, and comedy. Ricochet is kinda doing the same thing as a heel. Speedball and Omega double teaming Ricochet starts the bald chants. Ricochet's the heel and he looks impressive for a while, but he does play the butt of the jokes. He gets on the mic at ringside before getting superkicked by Bailey by surprise from the front. Ricochet gets on the other end knocking over a backslide to laughs. They do some creative pinfalls before Bailey and Ricochet kick Omega and each other down. The three start brawling with Omega controlling the center but taking some kicks to the stomach. The three then do consecutive dives to the outside, an awesome triangle moonsault by Bailey, Omega's Terminator dive, and a spectacular corkscrew moonsault by Ricochet. Bailey stomps Ricochet onto Omega, and it hurts Omega's stomach but Ricochet saves a pin. Ricochet and Bailey start brawling giving Omega time to recover. Ricochet takes out Bailey and the ref on a chop block. Omega takes control with the snapdragons, he takes more time but still gets great snap. Awesome double snapdragon. Bailey keeps struggling to get into the match, he keeps taking knee damage, but he survives a vertigo from Ricochet. The match starts going a little long here, don't think the crowd thinks Bailey can win here. It ends on a great middle rope one winged angel on Ricochet. I would like to note that Ricochet got good heat despite being an Eagles fan and wearing their colors."

[9.0] "It was an outstanding match that was given a lot of time and they did a lot of amazing stuff. Did it need to go 30 minutes? No, I don't think so. It's AEW loving long matches and giving them a lot of time. I'm not one of those people who say it's five stars just because Kenny Omega was in a 30-minute match. Yes, it was awesome, but it was a bit below that for me. That's just how I felt about it. Omega getting the win was the obvious result since he just won the title last month and he's not going to lose it so soon. Ricochet and Bailey are incredible athletes who can do it all in the ring and they showed it in this match. They did a lot of combo moves in the match where guys did moves on both guys at the same time. I think Omega pinned Ricochet because AEW might do Omega against Bailey as a singles match at Double or Nothing next month. I wouldn't mind seeing Omega against Ricochet in singles as well. ****1/4"

[9.0] "One of the most creative, fun and innovative three way matches I've ever seen. It went longer than Kenny's great match with Takeshita at Revolution, but felt like it flew by even though it was over half an hour. All three guys pulled out some stuff I'd never seen before, like the super inventive pins halfway through the match. Speedball had some amazing looking kicks and Ricochet was a great foil, both guys looked great even in defeat. Kenny getting the win with the Avalanche OWA while Speedball could only watch because his injured legs were tangled in the ropes was a brilliant finish. Okada confronting Kenny after the match and teasing a legendary rematch was the cherry on top. ****1/2"

[9.0] "This match was long as hell but it didn't feel like it at all, great ending sequence even if I find it funny that Kenny tries the avalanche OWA even if no one has kicked out of the regular one. Mike Baileys spinning hook kick to Kenny Omega was WILD favorite spot of the match for me. Match was great but I never felt like I was watching a 10/10 match. 9.25/10"

Also a lot of moves and double moves done by one competitor on the other two (THERE WAS A LOT OF THIS). Mike Bailey's selling of his leg sucked but the Karate Kid bit got probably the best pop of the night so that was good. Anyway this was waaaaaaay too long and self indulgent."
ReiEscobar wrote on 01.06.2025:
[9.0] "AEW is one of the best industries in the world when it comes to introduce a wrestler/superstar for the public, they're fantastic at this. Just remember Bryan Danielson debut against Kenny in the Grand Slam and the iconic crowd reception for the beggining of the match, or even the CM Punk return from hiatus at All Out, they're great at doing this. Speedball was godly introduced, not only he was the MVP of this match but also he was a guy so impacful in this match when it comes to the psycology of that, I mean, the way he was using his Knee EVERY single time and them he tried a insane Standing Moonsault with his both knees hitting Ricochet but he misses, causing it to hit the apron...not only this was the spot of the show but it was also something that I feel it, you know what I'm saying? When Shibata hits the iconic headbutt hear around the world in Okada, you can feel how painful it was, when a guy tries to chop a wrestler and hit something like a steel steps of a ladder, you can feel the pain as well. Ricochet also was incredible here, the one and only heel in this match executed pretty well his persona and did important moves to keep the match on fire, he is proving at every single PPV that he might deserve a chance for the AEW World Champion in the future, his gimmick, heat and ring skill are on peak right now. And last but not least, the GOD of pro wrestling, Kenny Omega. That guy needs to be studied, don't make any sense for me. When he did the entrance I was only focused on him, nothing else happenning in my life. The entrance was basically the same he did at WrestleDynasty this year? YES! But I wasn't able to got distracted with him. I'm not talking about aura or some internet bullshit like that, it's something on him that you instantly notices that the guy is dope as fuck. His selling here was incredible and most important, he let some good amount of time for both Speedball and Ricochet shine in front of the crowd. This is what's the most important thing man. Everybody in the business knows Omega and what he's capable, but they know Bailey? And Ricochet? Not yet. Amazing match, but...If I have one thing to criticize, it'll be the time. Not the lenght, but how they use the lenght of this match. One of the most weakest aspects of Mike Bailey is his moveset, it's so fucking short, and you can notice that thing when he did like the same move in both of this guys in a lot of moments of this match. Also, when it was coming close to 30 minutes, they clearly was just wasting time to come into that spetacular ending that we had, and I'm okay with it, but ONLY for that, this for me is NOT a five stars match. But, I can say easily that in this 2025 year for now, this was my 4.75 more closer to a 5.00, no doubt about that. Match of the Night also."

[10.0] "WOWZA, This surprised the fuck outta me, this kicked ass. I don't think the way they did this match involving Bailey's legwork would've happened in PWG or any other company in the mid-2010s, and I was surprised they implemented that as I just assumed this would be a brainless spot-fest, which I don't mind when done right. But man, they just tore it, everyone got their character and styles over, the moves were awesome, strikes were sick, again the leg selling was amazing and was implemented in the finish so well. Also it was such a thrill ride, that I didn't even realize how long this went, it was just that good of a time. One of the Best Triple Threats I've seen in a long while. Five Stars out of Five."

[10.0] "***** (10/10) AEW DYNASTY 2025's last saving grace! Speedball was the real MVP of the night. Close second goes to Ricochet, who I was hoping would go over because he hasn't won anything yet and has just been putting over everyone else in the big shows since he's been here. Yeah, I know, they're trying to build towards Omega/Okada at All In, but that doesn't even need to be a championship bout. I love Rico's Heel portrayal, and he's still one of the best high-flyers that the world has to offer, but I'm fearing that AEW does to Speedball what they're doing to Ricochet. Though, maybe one day Rico will start winning titles and all these losses will eventually be forgotten. One of the best matches of the year, by the way. And maybe the best triple threat of all time."

Thank you guys for sacrificing months of your career in matches like this."

[9.0] "[4.75*] Coming in, this match had all-timer potential. Omega, Ricochet, and Speedball--three guys who, on their own, are absolute must-watch talents. Put them together in a triple threat? That's dream match territory. And while it didn't quite hit the absolute peak it could've, it absolutely lived up to the hype. This was the best match of the night by a wide margin, a legit Match of the Year contender, and arguably the best triple threat AEW has ever booked. The match followed a pretty traditional triple threat layout for the first two-thirds. One guy out while the other two go at it, cycling through exchanges. But even within that familiar format, they delivered some truly creative sequences--like a mid-match stretch where all three men almost scored simultaneous double pins, followed by a wild sequence of consecutive dives to the outside. Speedball absolutely showed out here. The dude was the MVP of the match, and AEW's been incredible at introducing him to the wider audience. He got a huge feature in the middle portion--standing knee drops, stiff spin kicks to the head, that failed moonsault-to-the-apron-spot that looked brutal (and absolutely was), and that top rope reverse hurricanrana? Unreal. You could feel his impact in the match's psychology too--his every move with the knee had intent, risk, and purpose. Let's talk about Ricochet. This man has finally hit his stride. Since coming to AEW, he's proven the doubters wrong--including me. He's comfortable, charismatic, and his heel work here was pitch-perfect: smug, flashy, and just annoying enough that you want to boo him while still respecting the athleticism. He's been one of the best in-ring performers of 2025, and at this point? I genuinely think he's ready for a title run. His work here screamed TNT Champion-in-waiting. Give him Adam Cole. Give him the mic. Let him cook. And then there's Kenny. Kenny Omega, man. What do you even say at this point? The God of Pro Wrestling. He makes everything feel important. The way the crowd locks in when he makes his entrance? Different energy. It's not just "aura"--it's presence. He didn't even try to outshine the others here. He anchored the match, gave both Bailey and Ricochet room to breathe, and then reminded everyone why he's one of the greatest to ever do it. Snapdragon City. Dual suplex spots. V-Trigger overdose. And of course, that Avalanche One-Winged Angel on Ricochet for the win, with Speedball trapped in the Tree of Woe, desperately trying to break the pin. Incredible finish. Let's not lie--this was very close to a five-star match, with the only real nitpicks being: It hit 30 minutes, but maybe 25 would've been tighter. The last few minutes had some time-killing spots, and Speedball's move repetition did stand out a bit when stretched out. Also, Kenny's matches usually have that final stretch where it just explodes--false finishes, killer transitions, absurd sequences. This didn't quite reach that point, though it flirted with it. Omega winning was expected, but it was earned. And if we really are heading to Okada vs. Omega V, then expectations couldn't be higher. That match is going to be under a microscope, but Kenny's looking healthy and locked in. As for Speedball and Ricochet--this match solidified them as main-event-level talents in AEW. The crowd is with Bailey already, and Ricochet's finally got the character to match his physical talent. A Speedball vs. Ricochet feud after this? Book that immediately. Let them run it back, give it stakes, and blow it off at a major PPV. That could be the feud that elevates both of them permanently. This was the most PWG match to ever happen in an AEW ring, and I mean that in the best possible way. The creativity, the energy, the ridiculous athleticism--it was all there. And somehow, in just three matches, Mike Bailey already feels like he belongs in AEW's upper tier. Match of the night. Match of the year contender. Best AEW triple threat to date. This match didn't just deliver--it reminded us how good AEW can be when the right pieces fall into place."

Ricochet even though i struggle a bit with him as a character, i have to recognize the huge talent and his work as a heel is also getting better and better, as for Kenny, it's just Kenny simply astonishing even in his simplicity, each man delivered something incredible that night and everybody should keep an eye on Mike Bailey, what a superstar, congrats to all three of them <3"

[9.0] "Coming in, this had the potential to be an ALL-TIMER. This trio is each must-watch on their own, so three of them together could be historical. It didn't quite get to that level, but it's a toss-up for match of the night with the opener of Ospreay/Knight. The only demerits I can give it are: 1) Length. This was 30 minutes, but 25 would have been ideal with what they did. I have no doubt with different spots and booking these three could have a BANGER for 45 minutes. 2) Pace. Kenny's matches are usually a slow build to a frenzy of "wow" moves and false finishes leading to the eventual end. This never quite hit the full frenzy, which is something I remarked about his Revolution title match with Takeshita as well. Not sure if it's health/conditioning related or just an evolution of style/story. Otherwise, not much to complain about. There were some innovative spots including a sequence where all 3 men nearly got successive double pins on the other two. This was followed by each man getting an over-the-top-rope leap onto the other two on the outside. Speedball nailed a standing knee drop on Ricochet's torso, who was stacked on top of Omega. Then one of Speedball's best kicks was delivered to Omega's head (spin kick). Another standing knee drop attempt onto Ricochet on the apron failed when Ricochet rolled out of the way. That really looked like it hurt. But he somehow got up and delivered a reverse hurricanrana from the top rope on Ricochet. Yes, Speedball got a big feature in the middle of this match and he really performed. Omega then took over: Snapdragon city for both opponents, including to both at once! The crowd came alive and it was then V-Trigger city. Ricochet slipped out of a One-Winged Angel and the pace picks up with alternating big moves, finishers, hope spots, and near finishes. Omega later hits an AVALANCHE ONE-WINGED ANGEL on Ricochet for the pin as Speedball was stuck in the tree of woe, just out of reach and struggling to break it up. Great finish. As I said this could have been 11/10, but was a solid 9."

[10.0] "As someone who discovered Kenny omega pretty late and watched those iconic matches he has had in his career, I gotta say this version of Kenny may be my favourite. His timing on the moves he does is still so immaculate, his instincts are pretty much the same. The difference being he's wrestling so much smarter now. There's a lot of post Shawn Michaels 02 comeback that I see in Kenny. Which is why I have enjoyed seeing Kenny do his thing so much since his return. What more is there to say about Ricochet? Continues to prove the doubters wrong that questioned what his ceiling or role in aew would look like when he left the WWE (me included). He's way more comfortable in the stuff he does now, that's the biggest difference you see with him now and when WWE would try to do something with him more substantial. I would love to see him and speedball feud with one another post dynasty with it leading to something meaningful at the end with the winner of the feud. Speaking of speedball, what a performance from him in this match. He has gotten over with the fans so fast in aew. I loved how this match was structured that allowed speedball to be the star of this match. Ricochet's heel work, and Kenny filling in when he can being the base made this one of the best 3 way matches I have ever seen. This was excellent. Match of the night by a comfortable margin. ****3/4"
