[6.0] "Before you think this is anything special, read me saying that this is just another AEW tag where everyone gets in the ring and just does stuff. Crowd goes from acting like they care about the hot tag because it's the opener. to complete silence for minutes while guys do moves with no flow and it all looks like it hurts. At least this resembled a fun house show tag match for the first 8 minutes."
[7.0] "Awesome match with a terrible crowd. Everything Konosuke Takeshita and Tomohiro Ishii did was fantastic. Powerhouse Hobbs has a presence to him that can't be taught and more than held his own in this NJPW-style tag bout. And Kyle Fletcher? What more can be said? A superstar in the making. Everything about this match spoke directly to me, especially that phenomenal closing sequence. Ishii, with a face full of blood, throwing absolute BOMBS as he lays Fletcher out. Fletcher fighting back with Hobbs and Takeshita stepping in to pick the pace up even more. And those final 30 seconds? Chef's kiss. 3.75 stars, 7.5 out of 10. This match deserved a better crowd."
[8.0] "A pretty fun match to open things up, in my opinion. I'm always down for an Ishii appearance, and this one didn't disappoint, as per usual. This was my favorite match of the whole show, as a matter of fact. All four guys made the most of their time here."
[7.0] "This was wicked, just love seeing all these guys hot big moves and take big moves. Just a great all-action, hard-hitting TV tag match. Credit to Ishii and his face for this one."
[5.0] "Alright match that even yet another useless and random Ishii apperance didn't really dampen my enjoyment of it that much. I still have no idea why Tony Khan is so enamoured with this dude, his apperances add nothing to the shows. In the grand sceme of things this is just a filler Don Callis family vortex tag match that doesn't accomplish much other than keeping these guys on TV."
[6.0] "Probably my favourite match on this show. Good heel work from Kyle and Takeshita in the early stages alongside a much more lively performance than Ishii usually puts in when he comes to AEW. The final sequence is a pretty fun bombfest, finishing with Kyle getting the pin over Ishii. Pretty fun match overall. ***1/4"
[8.0] "Very competitive and action packed tag team match. I don't think a match with these guys can bore me, especially when Kyle Fletcher is involved as that guy is extremely entertaining due to his mannerisms. Ishii showed tremendous resilience towards the end but Fletcher's offense was just too much as the match ended with a piledriver, a move that AEW seems far more keen on using compared to WWE."
[7.0] "Good opener and the action was what you would expect from these four, meaning competent, intense and expressive. Not a match of the year (or even match of the night for me), but good action."
[8.0] "Very good opener right here, it was a blast to watch from start to finish without the slightest surprise because given the names present it was obvious it was going to be excellent. Ishii is always welcome in AEW, his matches are always fantastic (even against Jericho) and this one was no exception, with making Kyle Fletcher and Konosuke Takeshita shine like only he can. The action was very interesting, fun, well-paced with big moves and a crowd completely into it. Great to see Fletcher pin Ishii in the cleanest way possible in a damn good TV match."
