[7.0] "Yuji Nagata is intense as always and hits some crisp strikes in this one, but Manabu Nakanishi manages to cycle through all of his offense twice during a sub-10 minutes match and it's not particularly enthralling. I can see why he fizzled out (just before this I've watched his 1-on-1 match vs Shinya Hashimoto from 1994 and he did better then...), though that might have been due to not fitting very well into the vision of Inokism (ironically, as wrestling would ultimately prove to be the dominant martial art)."
