[5.0] "Didn't provide much. Not a big fan of Flamita as I don't think he can do much in a ring besides some good moves, and that's what happened here. Susumu put in some nice work."
[7.0] "This started off fantastically, with Flamita hitting a bunch of rapid high-flying spots while selling his IRL injured leg. This injury eventually meant that he couldn't keep his massive energetic output up, and so Susumu started going after the leg to properly ground him, which was a natural but compelling story. Susumu was really good here, especially with how he would read Flamita's attacks and movements as a way to further wear the leg down. Flamita's selling in this initial period was good, as he would hit his impressive spots while still referencing the injured leg, but as the match went for the big-bomb route he eventually ended up totally forgetting about it, which wasn't a deal-breaker, but was disappointing. Susumu would impress with his usual thundering lariats and great power moves, and at one point he even accidentally knocked Flamita's mask off, which was a cool way to suddenly up the drama of the match, even if it wasn't intentional or directly followed up on. Susumu finally kicked out of the Spanish Fly which he had previously fallen to, but I didn't like how quick his recovery was, as this move had previously been damaging enough to put him away for the 3-count, but here he survived it and was suddenly able to be up and running around again like it was nothing. Luckily all the exchanges that followed this no-sell moment were outstanding, as we got aerial attacks, stiff strikes, a great series of near falls, and even a crazy pop-up Candian Destroyer. At this point I was still annoyed about the lack of leg selling, but I was at least enjoying all the big exchanges on display, since they likely wouldnt have been executed at all if Flamita was serious about the leg-selling, so it was sort of a positive and negative situation. The final few minutes were really fun but definitely overkill, as Susumu just kept blasting away to a relatively non-responsive Flamita before finally putting him away. ***1/2"
[4.0] "Big miss with me. Flamita didn? t seem to offer much for me other than being someone Susumu to work around. His selling wasn? t great, even by DG standards, he didn? t do anything all that impressive. Just okay from him. Susumu pulled off some wicked moves and looked good. Decent match, could? ve been better if the match wasn? t as one sided, performance wise. **1/4"
[8.0] "This was a solid match. It's kinda overshadowed by KZY vs Skywalker in a way, but Flamita continues to show why he is one of the top young talents in the world, and why Dragon Gate is a really good fit for him. ****"
[8.0] "Not a fan of Flamita's selling during this match and the pacing could've been managed better through the match but other than that very good match, it was what you expected from both wrestler, strong pace and high spots. (****)"
[5.0] "Bruh, that match was just a big mistake. Yeah, both wrestlers showed all of their best big moves, but that was done so awful, so talentless. Last five minutes of the fight were just terribly done near-falls. Really, Susumu and Flamita could do some great moves, but they are just can`t do a normal wrestling match with story and everything else. Susumu`s rain as Brave Gate champ is simply awful. ***1/2"
[8.0] "Not the first time these two have had a banger of a match. With the time they were given they had a great match full of spots and crazy sequences held together by the chemistry between these two. I'm glad both guys got this spotlight on their biggest show because they are both the definition of underrated, ****1/4."
