It's an evenly balanced generational match, too, with Akiyama and HARASHIMA balancing out each team. HARASHIMA picks up the win but it's Sato, minus one errant kick to the ribs that seems to wind up for a bit, that really shines here. I think without the awkward pacing and the unfourtante moment Sato got jarred for a bit, this was actually quite enjoyable and clearly designed to give a lot of shine to someone who is probably a future DDT headliner."

[5.0] "Nice match. Kind of went a little bit long for me, but it is a 5-hour show that needs to be filled out. I liked how the younger wrestlers went over in the end, good to build them up. Some more intensity in the middle would have made this a 6 for me."
[6.0] "Best match from an undercard. Very solid tag, very close to 7. Veterans was a good partners for a young generation. I like how they destroyed young opponents by their best techniques and fighting each other with all their heat. I don't know how, but they both still kicking ass in very brutal way. Young boys was a heart of this match. Their comebacks and rivalry on the ring was pretty adult. Sato is a good choice I think, his heavy style right now and in his years looking good. Takeshi another one generation of Ibushi in DDT, I hope for a better future for him. Boy with athletism and potential, but you know where Ueno now."
[6.0] "For the most part this was a pretty standard midcard tag match. They had a pretty obvious botch off a high spot in the middle of the match but they recovered adeptly so I guess you can;t fault them for that."
[7.0] "Good team meeting, Takeshi and HARASHIMA did a great job here, Jun Akiyama despite the advanced age can still fight and do well and Daichi Sato is very young and made a good figure, rightly the victory went to the team of Masada and HARASHIMA, But Akiyama and Sato did a good performance anyway."
