[8.0] "The best match of the show, in my opinion. This got more time than I thought it would, but I'm not complaining whatsoever. Bailey and Ricochet both, technically, getting the win is an interesting move. They could have easily had just one of them win, but this is intriguing as well."
[7.0] "The wrestling itself was great. Each guy bringing his own sauce to the match: Mark Davis was the clear powerhouse and Goliath to the other three's David's. Another wrestler who shone in this match for me was Mike Bailey, he has superb quick kicks and aerial moonsaults. I'm interested to see how Ricochet's cowardly heel character develops as it's not a gimmick I'm super keen on. The pacing was great. The match never felt like it stalled and also never felt overly chaotic like some four man matches can be. The finish made the end feel a little flat for me personally. Bailey pinned Davis legally whereas Ricochet had his feet on the ropes for extra leverage, which was never acknowledged. The whole crowd was chanting Bailey, as he initiated the pin and didn't use the ropes, not seeing Ricochet as a victor. Yet both pins counted equally and they were declared them both winners. For me, it slightly undercut what had been a very great match, and is the main reason I'm not rating this match higher."
[8.0] "To me, the best way to do those matches that involves 3 or more wrestlers, is to make them all shine, to the point that anyone winning is justified; this match did exactly that. (****)."
[7.0] "This was a fun match with Mark Davis expertly playing the base for the smaller guys to bounce off of. The ending was kind of weak, but whatever, it will be a killer three way match at the PPV. ***1/2"
[8.0] "I'm normally not a huge fan of four-ways as they can often devolve into a series of mindless spots, but I thought this told a compelling story, with Mark Davis being an absolute beast and the other wrestlers trying to find ways to take him down. I admit, I was worried Mark Davis would get lost in the shuffle after returning and becoming a singles wrestler, but he was booked strongly here. The finish was clever and worked off of the premise of the match (I.E. everyone teaming up to take Mark Davis down.)"
[8.0] "I will start with the complaint that the opportunity to face Kenny Omega for the International Championship is dangled as the prize, but then Omega faces Blake Christian who has done nothing to earn a title match the next week, which invalidates the whole premise. So it loses points for that and for a lack of build, but the action was great, and everyone played his part really well."
[8.0] "Really fun fight filled with great moments from each wrestler and a hilarious finish from the heel Ricochet, really showcased the skills of each of them and leaves me excited for the ppv match as a result."
[8.0] "Dude what a fucking awesome match. Also, as someone who didn't follow Ricochet prior to WWE, holy shit he's great huh? Dude needs to have gold around his waist asap, he's absolutely crushing it."
[8.0] "To begin with, I would like to salute the public who were very good and reactive in this match. I will introduce each superstar. We have Cassidy who has a good match against everyone. We also have Davis who was super strong in the match, dominating at several moments several opponents at the same time, but the fact that he lost in this match by taking the pinfall breaks a little the image built in this match. The Don Callis family has only been losing lately, so I wonder about the future of the clan. Then, for me, we have the two wrestlers who have made the most reactions: Mike Bailey. It's cool that he won the match because not everyone necessarily watched TNA and that gives him exposure. And Ricochet, the cowardly heel who runs away, breaks behind the commentators, etc., he does a very good job as a heel. The Omega Bailey Ricochet match is going to be very good."
[9.0] "I would say this was narrowly my favorite match on a really strong episode of Dynamite. There's obviously an element of go-go style but I feel like a multi-man match lends itself well to that kind of wrestling, more so than a single bout anyway. In addition, I thought it was really well executed here so I can't complain. Everyone really pulled their weight and showed their worth quite clearly. Orange is as reliably great as ever, Ricochet is not only a superb athlete but he has really locked into his heel character, Speedball has looked tremendous in his first appearances, and Mark Davis hits like a truck. Despite Fletcher vast improvement in recent times, I still think I prefer Davis when it comes to the former Aussie Open team... well, I'm glad he's getting some spotlight, even if I still don't understand this story that he is a "reluctant" member of Don Callis' group. Every bit of this match fit in really well and the crowd loved it, credit to all involved on a really good match. I am also a bit more interested in the resulting three way than I think I would have been in a singles match with Omega, so I'll be watching that one closely."
[8.0] "Really fun tv match, all 4 wrestlers looked great and got time to shine. Ricochet did a great job playing the heel and Mark Davis + Speedball impressed me in the first match I saw from them. 8/10"
[9.0] "Not only did this rule, but it told a really neat story too. I feel like this is the perfect example of a match that people claim is a 'spotfest' because they're just willfully ignorant, but I really liked the way Ricochet kept copying Speedball's moves each time he did them. Also though Ricochet pulling an Edge and spending a ton of time relaxing, sitting at commentary, etc, was great. Mark Davis also did a fantastic job in the powerhouse role. He's the guy I know the least about but I actually felt like he held his own with everyone. Loved the finish too, would have been happy with Speedball winning but you won't see me complaining about Ricochet in the International Title match as well."
[8.0] "(Grade:B/****) A stellar fatal-four way match! Right off the bat, Mark Davis was my hidden-gem I truly wanted to see him pull through to the match at Dynasty but.... at least Tony doesn't see my vision. Everyone in the match did their point well, Ricochet getting tossed out and barely getting offense til later on. Speedball Mike Bailey had a great showcase this being his 2nd match getting the most spotlight as well as Orange Cassidy. I was a bit iffy about the finish having both Mike Bailey & Ricochet face off against Kenny Omega though I figure it'll be a great match!"
[8.0] "This was a very good match. I like how they found a way to protect Mike Bailey and Ricochet as they'll face Kenny Omega at AEW Dynasty for the AEW International Championship. The in-ring action was so much fun. Mark Davis is such an underrated wrestler. I hope he has himself a singles push this year because there is a lot they can do with him as he's aligned with Don Callis. But it's a great way to start the show and open it up with a fun Fatal-Four Way."
[8.0] "Favorite parts of the match were commentary talking about Mark Davis' enormous ass, and all the heel antics from Ricochet. Him sassing the referee, and trying to beg out of participating in spots were funny. Mark Davis looked like a beast, and I was very happy with the ending, even if it was a tad bit wonky."
[6.0] "Maybe a bit too long but this was still very solid. Everyone brought something different to the table here, with Orange bringing some fun comedy spots, Speedball bringing the strikes and high flying offence, Ricochet indulging in some fun heel work and Davis acting as the giant who overpowered everyone. This probably could've been cut down by like 5 minutes as there was a bit of meandering and dead air but for the most part this was pretty good. ***1/4"
[8.0] "very good match, so entertaining and also wrestling focused! all of them performed very well and the result was absolutely right, best outcome possible! I was surprised by watching Mark Davis performance, and I hope to see more of him in non-tag team matches. Ricochet has been awesome in the past few months and this match was another one. the triple threat match at Dynasty should be awesome and I can't wait for it. (****1/4)"
[8.0] "[4.25 Stars] A superb Opener perfect for TV, and I liked the ending can't wait to see the match at Dynasty now which looks very PWG 2015 (****, 25)"
[8.0] "Really fun TV 4-Way. I thought everyone looked good and served their purpose well in this match, but Mark Davis was especially the highlight for me. I knew Davis was good, but they really shone a light on him and highlighted his strengths well in this match that one-armed powerbomb and his slingshot Piledriver were especially good-looking. Ricochet was (once again) really entertaining as a heel, and feels completely revitalized as a character, and wrestler, in recent months. Orange Cassidy was also unsurprisingly really good. And it's nice to see how fast Speedball has gotten over with the live crowds. I was originally against the double-pin finish, but then I realized we're getting Ricochet vs Speedball vs Omega at Dynasty and I was immediately happy again. (***.75)"
[7.0] "I wonder (MF Doom reference) if this is gonna make me sound like a boring nerd who only had fun if the story is connect with you but...I don't really enjoyed that match more only because I had some lack for everyone in this ring. I like Cassidy, but I know he was in this match not to win, I'm not really familiar with Bailey's game, never was a fan of Ricochet and I honestly like Mark Davis but not enough to imagine him winning this match. But I need to confess that the in ring action was pretty good and Ricochet playing that goffy heel character is funny as hell, I enjoyed. Shout out to Mark Davis, by far the MVP in this match. He look so dominant when he did that Piledriver at Cassidy that I even think about him winning this match and I was cool with it."
[5.0] "This started off pretty good. There was some good action, Richochet I thought really looked great and did well to make everyone else look better. But I didn't like how it took all 3 of them to take on Mark Davis and even then, he was beating everyone else. Why all of the sudden is he an invincible monster? I don't think he's at that level. I also don't think Mike Bailey fit in well here. He was on offense way too much for a small guy. He wasn't selling well, there were a lot of spots I saw him take a bump and then look around right away. Feels like he needs more work on being on TV. And this was a bit too long for a 4 way."
[8.0] "Really good four way match here. All four men looked great, Davis in particular. He became fucking Mike Awesome for whatever reason. Speedball fits AEW like a glove, they were made for each other. The fans already love him. Props to OC for keep wrestling despite an injury and Ricochet keeps proving himself as one of the most entertaining wrestlers out there. The action was very fun with the crowd being red-hot. Lots of cool spots and sequences. In the end a double pin gave both Speedball and Ricochet the W, setting up a three way at Dynasty. 8/10 - 4*/5*"
[8.0] "I loved this match, this was just a fun watch. Also, I said that either Mike Bailey or Ricochet were gonna win, I didn't expect both of them to win. I had a real feeling something fishy was gonna happen in this match."
[6.0] "[3.0*] I thought this match was very fun and my favorite bit of the whole thing was Ricochet's comedy heel antics, he is actually so great at it. However, I still think these AEW multi-man TV matches are a mess and sometimes even the wrestlers get kinda confused about what the next spot is going to be. I had fun, but I was also confused sometimes. They try to do this ridiculously fast paced thing and I am just not a big fan, specially of all the overly choreographed stuff. I really liked the ending and I am looking forward to the Triple Threat."
"[9.0] Great match. Would've been happy with any winner. Triple threat at the PPV will be a 10 for sure. Mark Davis is criminally underrated and a lot more people will see how good Speedball is"
[6.0] "Match was pretty fun with the best moments being when Mark Davis was on the offense. His little segment on the outside where he did the apron powerbomb to Speedball and slammed Orange into the ring was good. His power moves on all three opponents were impressive here. I know people liken him to the Janetty of AO, but he has been looking very good in the past month and he is not even winning."
[7.0] "A very good fatal four-way match, nice build and some good spots. A very interesting finish that clearly happened to give Revolution the win over Ricochet. They need to keep Mike Bailey and Omega strong."
[5.0] "This match had moments where it was fun, I think that Mark Davis in particular was very interesting here, he did a lot of power moves, and when he controlled the match and brutalized the other participants, I enjoyed it, so if we can take something really positive out of this, it's his performance, but generally speaking this is definitely not what I'm looking at a weekly show, it had a lot of comedy/videogame combos, some were funny, some were lame, and the match was also longer than it should've been. The ending was alright, they chose to run a draw, so that at the PPV, Kenny Omega will have to face both Mike Bailey and Ricochet. I think this was made for a specific audience, and there's nothing wrong with it, I can see the vision, but this indie/PWG style is totally outmoded to me in big 2025 - {**1/2}"
[9.0] "Great match. Everyone looked really good here, and there were a ton of fun sequences. It almost looked like a house show in some parts, looking at how much fun they were having. I'm really happy with the two winners, as the triple threat with Ricochet, Speedball and Omega should be awesome."
[8.0] "Pretty good match and I actually liked how they made the kind of screw finish work here, which is rare for AEW to pull off well. Mark Davis came out of this looking like a real monster."
[8.0] "8.5 - AEW sometimes do these multi-mans where they use their 'where the best wrestle' idea and run with it. I don;t always like it, but today they nailed it. Four brilliant characters and in-ring personas that displayed their offense expertly. Everyone will say Mark Davis elevated himself the most, but Speedball also needed something like this - a slightly lower-stakes display of his athleticism and character. The finish was fine in my eyes. The only thing that annoyed me was Orange Cassidy fixing his hair mid-being-powerbombed, he looks like such a fucking idiot."
[8.0] "What a pleasure this match was, that's the word: a pleasure. Just superb action from start to finish, which I'd obviously expect to see when you give such great wrestlers so much time in a ring together. All with an even better stakes: the winner facing Kenny Omega. And the action delivered, we saw plenty of big moves & great spots with a natural dynamic. Davis and Ricochet for the heat, Bailey & Cassidy for the big pops and the four of them really matched up well. Everyone was good, but it was Bailey who really stood out as it was another big showing for him. TK pulls the trigger directly for him and it's well deserved."
