[7.0] "Friendly battle, for sure. It was necessary to both womens look stronger after that match, so they did a friendly battle between both wrestlers with Willow surprisingly winning. For sure it will be a rematch in a future not much longer than currently. It was necessary for me to cut some notes of that match because it was so annoying for me to watch a face vs face that both wrestlers looked like friends. I mean, you want to face her or not? The storyline was confunsing, but I gonna need to praise Miu in that match specially. Do a fucking Swing in Willow is not easy, impressive strengh."
"These two have incredible chemistry and this match's dynamic is super fun. This left me wanting more and I really would love to see a rematch again once one of them is holding some gold, it could really add a new layer to things. Honestly, I was smiling ear to ear the whole match. It's Willow and Miu, what's better than that."
[6.0] "Is this yet another one of those "special singles match" spots on the card that seem inconsequential? Looks like Miu Watanabe is back in that position again. As an act of good faith from Willow's employers, maybe Watanabe could have won this match? Why not? Wouldn't have made any detriment to Willow. Maybe Miu Watanabe is actually the sleeper Japanese star that should make the move to the U.S.A? Don't know if her ceiling has been met in Japan, but seems like this may be it in Teej."
[7.0] "Willow and Miu had good chemistry here and had a good match. It would be interesting to see them wrestle again with higher stakes or even to see them team together and make a run for the tag team titles."
[6.0] "Miu looked like a confident main-eventer. Willow looked like a great special attraction. They're both very talented and in a higher stakes spot they could've had a better, longer match. The swing and the pounce were highlights."
[7.0] "A good match between two great babyfaces which can be difficult to pull off. A bit of an exhibition vibe to this one, but that's not a negative. Just really cool that this happened and could be something interesting to look back on years from now as these two women's careers evolve. Interesting to see Miu take the loss, wonder if that's an indication there may be more to come between these two. 3.5 stars."
[8.0] "A super fun match, i really liked how they played the face vs face dynamic here and the dueling power moves, and i can appreciate they let willow be the bigger force because she is the bigger woman. Super fun, great chemistry between the two, give it more time or for a title and this is an instant classic."
[7.0] "I was very intrigued by how they'd approach this match, and this ended up being more conventionally paced as they had a 50/50 competitive match with both playing up their hoss qualities because, of course, that's what their offense calls for. This also had an incredibly charming aspect to it, because these two are immensely bubbly and lovable in their charisma and personality that effortlessly oozes from them. I thought they navigated the babyface versus babyface dynamic very well even that super charming display of bubbly admiration for one another before the bell added a lot to this. The show of respect by offering each other a hand as they bested each other was great, too. I'm extremely happy this took place but also sad we might never see this pair again considering how well they clicked in their chemistry. This was a super comforting match. I don't know how, but I'm going to give Willow all the monies in the world to have a run in TJPW with Miu as Princess tag team champions. That needs to happen! ***1/2"
[7.0] "This match had some great and thoughtful moments. I loved the early spot where they both realised they were unable to get the other up for a bodyslam, and the buildup to Miu finally being able to give Willow the giant swing was a brilliant idea, although it might have felt even bigger if it was drawn out just a little more, perhaps with one more failed attempt in the middle of the match, or saving the successful attempt for closer to the end of the match as the culmination of Miu's comeback sequence. If the crowd had been a bit more wild for it, and if the match had been a bit longer, this might have felt closer to the huge clash of Aces we were all excited for. Also, it's impossible not to wonder whether it would ever have been possible for Miu to win, given the politics of the relationship between AEW and TJPW, which is a sad thought which distracts from the match slightly (we're all still scarred by the memory of Takeshita vs Jericho). I hope these two will face each other again in the future; I'm sure they have an even better match in them."
[7.0] "A match that was three years in the making, was okay and getting towards something potentially really good, only to end in less time than the rookies got earlier on the show. A longer rematch would be nice, but for a match that was supposed to happen a while back, I can't say it lived up to expectations."
[8.0] "Really good power match here, they traded chops, strikes and power moves. Miu lifting Willow for the back breaker and the swing was great. But Willow's pounce and Doctor Bomb was too much for Miu."
[8.0] "They finally made this happen and thankfully it did not disappoint. These two got to show some good chemistry here but this was about the classic immovable object vs the irresistible force. Two strong ladies getting to do strong lady things against each other is always fun, with highlights being Miu easily managing to swing Willow around and Willow getting to pounce Miu nearly out of the ring. Tons of fun and wouldn't mind them seeing getting to do this again at some point, wherever that might be."
[8.0] "After nearly three years Miu and Willow finally face each other, and as expected this match borders on the serotonin overdose. They stared exchanging smiles, muscle exhibition and cute poses. The match is joyfully energetic, Miu keeps up fairly easily with Willow's power and display her super rare (and impressive) dropkick, great bumping too on the pounce."
[10.0] "This is everything I wanted it to be! Probably the two best babyfaces in the world, going at it in a contest that while friendly was full of intensity and awesome moments. Willow fits so naturally in the TJPW ring, and Miu is just my favourite wrestler ever at this point, her psychology, power + likeability is the craziest combo on a wrestler ever and she showed that again here!"
[9.0] "Really loved it, Miu Watanabe is such a force of nature and her and Willow really have a good alchemy, yes it was probably a bit too short, but sometimes less is more, hope they'll cross path again soon and that we dont have to wait 2 years for it."
