Indi Hartwell vs. Mercedes Mone

[8.0] "Mercedes Mone is a legend, and she puts on a good match wherever she is. Looking back at it this year, it might be right at the top of Indi's matches. She had a lot to prove after her release, going into an independent run. This match (and her ROW match prior to this) feels like a showcase to the other companies, and I'm sure that both AEW and TNA were interested in her."

[7.0] "Indi Hartwell has certainly shown growth since her WWE release. Facing against a star like Mone, who I must admit I'm not the biggest fan of, Hartwell held her own. This was great in front of an independent crowd. The confidence shines through. A little bit more of a smoother aspect is needed to go right to the top but Hartwell showing what she has to offer. Exciting to see her sign with TNA."

[9.0] "Indi had probably her best match as a pro with Mercedes. Hitting her power moves while Mercedes sold her ass off as usual. Good chemistry is what Mercedes does and it felt like she really wanted Indi to shine."

[8.0] "Mercedes Mone proves once again that she can put on a good match against everyone. I've never found Indi to be a good wrestler in the ring before. The Athena vs Mone match is going to be good."

[7.0] "The crowd was very hot for this match and it ended up being pretty good. Mercedes wasn't able to have the kind of incredible match she can with someone on her level, but Indi held her own here."

[8.0] "Love to see the star power of Mercedes everywhere she goes. And the way fans and company treat her like a SUPERSTAR. For this match i give a solid 8, the match up size and skills was different because we know each of this superstar. Mercedes make Indi shine, Indi wrestled her idol and i love it. I like the fact that Mercredes is leaving gradually the money maker to do other finisher move."

[8.0] "It's fascinating seeing how Mercedes is treated by the fans outside of aew as opposed to how aew fans treat her. The difference is mind blowing even. By this I mean the fans at the shows btw. It's very interesting"

[9.0] "Very impressive match between Mercedes and Indi...both put on a great showing and hopefully they can meet once again.Super glad for Indi to go on and showcase her talents in the Indie circuit!"

[8.0] "Really good Indy match, Mercedes was quick and Smooth and Indi worked as the powerhouse, great work from Mercedes guiding the match keeping it fast and active, I think it was the best showing from Indi i've ever seen, This match really showed me the difference between Mercedes wrestling as a face vs as a heel, she's quicker and she's smoother, I would love to see her do more matches on the Indies."

[8.0] "A match that felt like a lot clicked with Mercedes's history with Amazing Red to Indi being inspired by Bayley/Sasha in Brooklyn in 2015 to become a wrestler. Indi particularly had a strong performance here using her size advantage over Mercedes effectively as well as her going into using offense such as the Belly to Bayley as well. Mercedes was popular with the crowd which helped her when it came to fighting back from underneath. 7.5-8"

[10.0] "Im actually super impressed but this match, and Indi looked Great, im happy that Mercedes is wrestling in some other promotions and is killing it. These two just have such great chemistry, and its so cool that these two are wresting one another outside of WWE."

[7.0] "Very nice match and a great moment for Indi. She looked good in her first match back in the US. This was build as a very safe and like a TV match to keep Mercedes safe. It was nice. ***1/4"

[7.0] "Surely, while admittedly not saying much, the best Indi Hartwell match I have ever seen. Mercedes was not even forced to seriously tone down her style, the reversals in this match were incredibly well executed, and Indi kept up very well."

[9.0] "This was a pretty good/decent match. Mercedes did great as always, moved fluently throughout the ring, it seemed like she was just having fun with Indi. Considering this is Mercedes first indies match since 2012 she put on a great match with Indi who is more of an inexperienced wrestler. As for Indi, I'm super proud of her. Indi kept up with Mercedes and she made sure to capitalize on this opportunity. There were very few sloppy moments, and Indi looked the best she's ever looked in a match. Congrats Indi!"

[7.0] "Good match. Mercedes was def not on full speed but still brought some good offence. Indi stepped up for sure and clearly enjoyed every second of it. Fun showcase of both wrestlers."

[9.0] "Excellent showdown by both wrestlers. Crowd was energetic and reacted to almost all the moves, Indi definitely stepped up to the occasion and Mercedes is just amazing when she wrestles opponents larger in size. This is one of those special kind of matches for me, where a wrestler got to face her idol and inspiration on a big platform and that makes me feel that wrestling is magical. This is one of feel-good matches and a super-entertaining one."

[7.0] "That was a lot of fun, it's very probable that it's the best Indi Hartwell match ever, and of course it was against Mercedes, so nice to see this matchup in HOG, the first indie that Mercedes wrestled since like, 2012, so a very rare moment, and she did it because she's a big friend of Indi, and they have a nice story together, like the commentators said, Indi became a wrestler because she watched Bayley vs Sasha on TakeOver, and Mercedes is her idol, so this is a very special moment, and the crowd was euphoric, they kept chanting stuff all the time, and enjoyed the moment. The match was super fun, not every execution was on point, but wrestling is about moments and this was super cool to watch, the match progressed in a very nice way, and ended when it should've. Indi doing the Bayley to Belly finisher was a very creative callback, and Mercedes won the match with her traditional submission - {***1/4}"
