[9.0] "I'm giving this extra marks for a few reasons. I always like a match where the outcome isn't 100%, only certain guys can pull off that (Bryan Danielson, (Weird, I am currently watching the next match and just as I type Bryan Danielson, Nigel says his name during the match. Yes, Nigel says his name often but not lately and it was literally as I was typing it)) and it was a "real" tag team match. The tag division in AEW is garbage filled with singles wrestlers paired up and their teaming doesn't really include any teamwork. It seem lately it's been tornado matches or no DQ matches. I mean even look at ROH and it's current (at the time of the airing) title holders, Sammy and Dustin. Gimme a break. A straight forward tag match really worked for me. I was thinking of only an 8 because some of the match was a little long but it was during the commercial breaks so I forgave it. Now this is getting long but I should mention the story of the foot on the rope, pulling of tights, loss and hand shake refusal will lead to some more interesting matches."
[8.0] "Pretty good opener here, which I would expect from these two teams. I feel like these two duos should definitely be more prominent in the Tag Team Division, specifically O'Reilly & Strong, as they've never been Tag Team Champions, as of this writing, in AEW."
[8.0] "A good little match between two good teams. A dream match. Just when FTR was going to win the match, The Kingdom came back into the match and managed to win it. The post-match is also interesting because it shows that the feud isn't over."
[8.0] "(Grade:B+/****1/4) This was a clinic! FTR is definitely a top-tier tag team and O'Riley & Strong mesh of style and history teaming together made it a very hard-hitting affair. I was skeptical with the Picture Perfect Piledriver Dax hit on O'Riley which led to the almost victory with the foot on the rope but it led to a incredible second half of the match that kept ramping up as every near fall was being kicked out."
[7.0] "[3.5 Stars] It was fun but I can't help thinking that if you did this match in 2018 in an NXT Takeover we'd have been treated to an intergenerational classic. (***, 5)"
[8.0] "This match became a wake-up call to how awesome AEW's tag team division was when FTR was the champions and we had a plethora of incredible tag teams and stables. No disrespect to the current crop, but the division feels a bit lost after the last 2-3 reigns and started to gain steady composure with Hurt Syndicate as the emperors. Coming back to this match, the slight progression in FTR's character shift made the most sense as desperation calls for a change. The chemistry between these teams never missed and it still feels fresh even though it's been merely six years since their last clash. The initial false finish helped a bit in FTR not losing their pride but being more arrogant, and the post-match segment spoke for itself. 4 out of 5 stars!"
[8.0] "Roddie always benefits when he has somebody who can keep up with him and FTR are just the guys to do that. Really good TV tag match that was all gas no breaks, as you would expect from these four"
[6.0] "This got rolling by the end and that made for a good match, even with FTR losing again. At this point they might be getting ready for a heel turn, as there isn't much else that they can do with all of these losses. I don't mind pushing the Kingdom as they're good, but they're just kind of floating around at the moment as it is."
[9.0] "Great TV tag match here. I like FTR a lot, Undisputed whatever I'm not that high on because I find them very bland but they can get it done in the ring when they need to and this meshed really well. Interesting that FTR did the honorable thing at first but then as the match went on they seemed to get frustrated and look for shortcuts. I'm interested in what may come of that, and I thought the action of the match was very good."
[7.0] "This would be a quarter of a star higher if there wasn't the stoppage, nor the weird angle where Cash Wheeler was clearly tapping out by the ref decided not to stop the match. Other than those blunders, this was an excellent hybrid tag match that encapsulated both an old Southern style of tag wrestling that is purely grounded, juxtaposed with the more modern, NXT-esque style of tag wrestling that is a lot more aerial and dynamic. ****"
[8.0] "Beautiful match that perhaps most impressively, left an awful lot of meat on the bone for rematches. In fairness, that speaks more to this matchup's potential than any elaborate restraint, as they still produce some fabulous action here. FTR lean heel, sporting a desperation after willingly erasing their unjust victory. That sets the stage for a spectacular Strong hot tag, which launches a sharp finishing run. That escalation doesn't come at the expense of the match's prior rhythm though, with beautiful work making up the bulk of this. It's pristine stuff, effortlessly picking up where they supposedly left off on those prior house shows. ***3/4"
[6.0] "It's a shame, this would have scored a lot higher if it wasn't for a couple of things in my opinion. Firstly, there was no need for the foot on rope false finish restart. It didn't add anything to the overall story of the match - unless it was a called audible after a ref botch? Secondly, the ref not registering the blatant tap.... Maybe the ref was just having an off night. The final 2-3 minutes of the match were superb and the watch was definitely watchable if maybe a tad too long."
[8.0] "This was a BANGER. Proper graps from four proper wrestlers. They worked so well together, the offence was excellent, the counter moves excellent, the structure of the match was even better. This is what has been missing for both teams and I can't wait to see them all run it back. Hopefully this is the start of a programme because I genuinely loved it."
[8.0] "Expected this to be tight and super competent and it was, with enough heat between the two teams to keep it interesting. KOR and Cash are my favourite on either side but it was Dax and Roddy who performed better."
[8.0] "AEW television often has a simple formula that always pays dividends: get two teams that you know can go, give them fifteen minutes, and let them just make magic together. And that's what both teams did tonight; a rather fun affair. Dax insisting on honour above reason in asking for the match to be restarted, only to lose the match, might also lead to an intriguing "being a good guy doesn't butter any parsnips" heel turn, which'll also be fun."
[8.0] "A great tag match! It's so good to see two top-tier teams facing off on Collision. Plus, it's super nostalgic watching the Undisputed duo of Kyle and Strong wrestling in 2025. What makes it even better is how simple yet effective the match was--a perfect blend of FTR's old-school style with the more modern indie/PWG vibe of The Kingdom. It's just so satisfying to see a match like this and realize the tag division is still alive and well. If I had to rate it, I'd easily give it a solid **** 1/4 . Just excellent."

Argued with the referee to restart the match. This developed FTR as a team of integrity and honor. Had an extra edge when the match restarted, adding some nuance to that choice. Was it about ethics, or pride? Dax grabbed the trunks of Kyle after Cash struck Kyle by surprise from the outside for a heel team move near fall. That's cheater stuff! Maybe FTR was regretting this second chance? FTR refuses UK's handshake offer after UK won the match fairly"
[9.0] "Excellent match, very good chemistry. Kyle and Roddy combined very well and raised the speed. FTR are great, they made very clever counters here, plus I liked that they played with their possible heel turn."
[7.0] "These two teams have an even better match in the chamber, I'm sure about that. They started of strong and Harwood pinned O'Reilly after just a few minutes following a piledriver. However KOR had his foot on the rope and FTR decided to restart the match. But their decision costed them the match as UK would win after having survived multiple finishers including the power and the glory and the assisted piledriver. The crowd was hot and the action was fun with both teams mashing very well and delivering good performances. 7/10 - 3.75*/5*"
[8.0] "Pretty good opener for the show. The match restart angle was pretty hype live in person, I know on the broadcast it was maybe badly executed and people disliked it though. Roddy stopping the Shatter Machine with the jumping knee was super sick"
