[4.0] "TF was the point of this match? What a complete waste of RVD for no reason. This was not good as you might imagine"

[5.0] "Average and short match. Rob Van Dam had a good presentation and the crowd loved him so much. To that point, Aiden's character and singing is embarrassing and the crowd don't care for it."

[5.0] "It's pretty cool to see RVD in NXT but this one was pretty typical with the outcome never really in doubt. Rob gets some of his signature offense in and the Frog Splash finish looked fantastic, while English played the heel well. 3 stars at best."

[5.0] "This was somewhat of an extended squash for Rob Van Dam, just to give the crowd a chance to see a star go out there and hit his signature spots. I can't blame them, I'd be pretty excited to see a RVD match live even if it was just like this. English played his part well. 2.5 stars"
