[7.0] "It was a valiant effort from DG & his buddies which was vividly clear in how serious their demeanor was, but the main issue is the defending trio itself. No disrespect to the crop of talent, but their quality in delivering compelling matches has continuously dropped and the heat-controlling part in this match was a prime example. However, there were a few moments where I thought an upset was bound to happen, thanks to the undermined yet formidable play as the underdogs by DG, Menard & Parker. The post-match altercation cemented Cope's plan deeper in facing Mox one-on-one without any form of shenanigans, but I wouldn't believe it until I saw it despite being interesting. 3.5 out of 5 stars!"
[10.0] "The more I think about this match, the more I like it... it has mostly middling reviews and I think I understand why, folks are cold on the Death Riders so they don't tend to feel excited about their matches even when the quality is there, that's fair enough. However I think this match really excelled in some important ways, and even if online reaction is lukewarm you can see how much it energized the crowd. There's a lot of great aspects to highlight here... Claudio looking more like the brick wall of the team, as he always should, brutally shutting down the faces multiple times. Wheeler just reveling in his heel role, a deeply unlikeable gremlin who betrayed his mentor, the crowd was all over him in a great way. The great performance of 2.0 as fighting underdogs through the whole first half of the match. I really have to emphasize especially how great Shane Matthews did here, the way he sold his exhaustion while still struggling on during the Death Riders beatdown was fantastic, just stellar work. And of course my man Garcia, consigned to the apron until finally getting that explosive hot tag and going wild on the whole heel team, the dude looked like every bit the star his fans think he should be (me included). It wasn't the most flashy match but it was structured so well, told a great story, and benefitted everyone involved, and when you get down to it the action of the match was very good as well. I'm surely an outlier on this one but I thought this was stellar, it's early yet but right now I'd place it somewhere in my top 20 favorites of the year so far."
[8.0] "Yo they kinda COOKED with this one. A predictable finish, but damn its easy to forget amidst all the Death Riders hate that this trio (Claudio, PAC, and Yuta) can wrestle their fucking asses off (and this is not to dismiss Daniel Garcia, Daddy Magic, and Angelo Parker who were equally great). Bonus points for that post-match angle, easily the best Death Riders segment in months."
[6.0] "[2.75*] Not as review-bombed as I thought it was going to be. I think the ridiculously stupid ratings come more when Mox is on the match, this average is pretty fair. This was a pretty solid TV match, with some slow control segments by the DT that had heat with the crowd and a pretty fun comeback by the babyfaces."
[8.0] "Nope, this was a pretty good trios match with Death Riders vs Daniel Garcia/2.0 here. I refuse to accept this unusually low rating just because critics want to review-bomb ANYTHING that's related to the Death Riders. I give this banger trios match an 8 out of 10 overall."
[6.0] "This was affected a bit by the Death Riders control period which slowed the match down, but it makes sense for their story as they're not the kind who care about reviews like this one. Good comeback by Garcia and 2.0, but the Death Riders were never likely to lose their titles on a taped Collision... and yes, there was a title change on a taped Collision last week, but that had different circumstances."
[7.0] "Angelo, Daniel and Matt really put in a great effort here but the Death Riders are just too much as always for everyone right now. The six on three at the end to clear the ring was really well done. Cope coming in to put PAC out for the next period should be good. The double chair shots were just brutal sounding and looking. Claudio, PAC and Yuta are a pretty great trio and I wish they would get more chances to show why. Now that PAC is gonna be off I assume till the match at revolution I guess I will have to wait for more"
