[5.0] "Very sloppy and in the middle of it, very average or even below average match. Horrible ending too, didn't even know what was happening until it happened."
[6.0] "It's nice to see Fandango back in NXT. And I was glad Lexis was the new Cup winner, but... The fact that he removed the unique rules for the Cup match is a bad sign. Now I want King to lose it to someone really worthy as soon as possible [Ideally it would be Noam Dar]. The match itself wasn't bad, as many on cagematch think, the negative emotions are caused mostly by the promo from Lexis King. ***"
[2.0] "This match meant nothing and it was nothing, the fact that I turned this off before it even hit 6 minutes says how I felt about this. I've never liked the Heritage Cup rules, I don't even remember if this had it and I really don't care."
[4.0] "The whole thing with the Heritage Cup was the unique rules involved. When you take that out, what are you left with? Noam Dar was the only one who highlighted the Heritage Cup since it was presented on NXT. All other reigns were simply forgettable, and Lexis' is no different. In the first place, his character is interesting, so I can already see him as a "transitional" champion, hopefully until Dar returns or someone more interesting wins the cup. As for the match itself, The outcome was already known beforehand, but JDC (previously Fandango) was presented strongly, and that's the only thing that made me give the match a 4 rating."
[5.0] "Firstly, JDC/Fandango crossing the border and contending for an NXT prize was a nice moment. Even though he didn't have a chance to create history, he was a cool first challenger for Lexis as the Heritage Cup holder. Under the "demise" of the Brit rules (which I was a fan of personally), it was a decent straightforward match. Nothing otherworldly, but nothing to complain too much. 2.5 out of 5 stars!"
[3.0] "A very forgettable match. Fandango made his return to WWE last week for the first time since 2021 and proceeded to challenge for the WWE NXT Heritage Cup Championship. The match was just uninteresting, very forgettable, and boring to say the least. Lexis King retains at the end. So far his reign as champion has been lackluster he needs to start picking it up sooner than later."
[4.0] "It was there. Forgettable, uninteresting, and added nothing except giving Lexis a first title defense. The downside? They're building a face who cheats to win--okay, maybe against the champion, but if it's happening every match, isn't that just turning heel again? His character is just pure WTF."
