[9.0] "I'm not sure if it's just me, but this might be my favorite Rumble of all time. The early leg featuring an incredible mid-card doing their stuff, and the final 20 minutes is some of the most star-studded moments in Rumble history. Jey Uso winning does sour it a bit a year later, though."
[7.0] "This was a fantastic rumble match soured by the ending. The in ring wrestling was great, that spot with I show speed was insane, and the star power in this match was other worldly. I was about to slap a 10 on this and then Jey Uso won. I knew having a perfect rumble was too good to be true. Of all the people in that rumble match with all that star power, you give it to nepobaby zero talent Jey Uso? Rumble victories definitely lost their prestige after this. I've always wanted a rumble winner that's shocking but WWE also forgot the part where the winner also has to be good. If you wanted to do an unpredictable winner, AJ Styles and LA Knight were right there but you instead give it to the worst wrestler on the entire roster. So overall I liked this but that ending absolutely tanks it 3 whole points."
[8.0] "Until the moment Logan Paul eliminates Punk, this is a perfect Royal Rumble. The final moments are not that good, and the winner is one of the worst of all time."
[7.0] "The match quality was so good, and far better than many rumbles. I really enjoyed it. Tho the surprises were too little plus the winner wasn't a satisfaction. Neither the finish was like a wholesome thing. (***1/2)"
[6.0] "I was live in attendance for this my first rumble and i was underwhelmed the winner really left a bad taste in my mouth on an otherwise great rumble match. (3.25*)"
"Overall, a good match. Had a lot of surprises along with the winner being Jey Uso. It was a match that did a great job of highlighting guys like Penta who was new to the WWE starting the match with Rey Mysterio was a great way to go as well. It also got to showcase TNA star Joe Hendry! It was nice to see moments like having John Cena in one last and final royal rumble match of his career having a moment with one of his great rivals CM Punk as well as Roman Reigns. Not to mention the great storytelling for example with the visuals we got with Roman staring down Seth Rollins for dramatic effect. Overall I give this match a 6.5 as it had a lot of great moments and excitement."
[8.0] "This was one of the most unpredictable rumble matches in history, and one of the most stacked. Penta did mess up the first spot but he played a great iron man and i do wish we got him v roman in a staredown. i really enjoyed the start of this match as well with the midcarders taking over and really having a great showing even speeds bit was funny, then jacob fatu comes out he was great in this match tho his elimination i did think sucked, but the most shocking was uso eliminating cena i was stunned when it happened but i feel it was what jey needed this, but in hindsight it was not needed fir him as he seems to have not shown up to the moment and just became a catchphrase"
[7.0] "Just like the women's royal rumble before it, this had everything to make it one of, if not, the best royal rumble matches ever with the insane star power, Penta's iron man performance, Styles returning with his old WWE theme song, the rumble debut of TNA World Champion Joe Hendry, Cena's last ever rumble appearance, and everything revolving around Punk, Rollins and Reigns, but there was the long runtime, everything revolving around Logan Paul, the eliminations of McIntyre and Fatu, and Jey winning the match was ever so polarizing. So again just like the women's rumble, as solid as it was, it truly could've been a whole lot more."
[7.0] "This rumble should have been better, because on paper it's the most stacked Royal Rumble ever, but the middle part of the match was really good and I probably would have given it an 8 because until the end it's an all time great rumble, but from when Paul tossed out Punk and then Jey winning don't get me wrong I like Jey but it didn't leave a good taste in my mouth. Punk or Cena should have won."
[0.0] "Jey Uso's victory is the final straw, because Jey Uso is terrible in the ring, botch-prone, limited, and nowhere near the level a Royal Rumble demands. He doesn't have the skill, credibility, or consistency to carry a win of this magnitude, let alone headline the road to WrestleMania. It was a forced decision with no real impact, feeling more like a creative whim than a well-told story. This Rumble ignored talent, momentum, and fan expectations to deliver an empty ending that generated frustration instead of excitement. A Royal Rumble should make fans dream; this one only proved how bad booking can destroy even the most sacred concept in wrestling. What happened in 2025 wasn't historic for being good, but for how badly it betrayed the essence of the Royal Rumble. An insult to wrestling and to the fans who expected much more."
[9.0] "This encompassed everything a Royal Rumble should be, from great action inside the ring, to incredible storytelling outside the ring, especially when Roman, Seth and Punk wrre all eliminated. It had good celebrity spots (The Speed spot made up for the limited amount), the only issue I hold against it is the lack of suprise entrants."
[8.0] "This was a great Royal Rumble match. It started off great had many great moments. Was lacking a little near the end as all the big stars were in the ring but something was missing. It was great seeing Jey Uso win at the time. I am sick of him winning now but then it was great."
[7.0] "A fun Rumble match bursting with star power. John Cena in his final ever Royal Rumble, Roman Reigns, CM Punk, Seth Rollins, Penta, Rey Mysterio, hell even the short joke spot appearances of Joe Hendry and even IShowSpeed. A really fun Rumble muddied by the winner, Jey Uso, going on to have one of the worst title runs in recent memory. Also, because most of the top stars came out in the last 10 spots, most of the Rumble did feel like waiting around through bodies to get to what everyone wanted to see."
[10.0] "It was really cool. I'm not a big fan of Jey Uso, but his win in that moment felt unexpected and genuinely awesome. The fact that he couldn't stay at the top afterward doesn't really have anything to do with this match itself."
[9.0] "Because my viewpoint for this match varies from how it's rated I have to explain myself so here it goes. I thought this rumbles were great, not just the men's but the women's too. From the surprises, to how the big stars of both matches reacted to one another. The showings we got from various wrestlers of each rumble, to penta, to Roxanne who was the iron woman, to Bron Breakker who showed why he's the future of this shit, to Jacob who also showed why he's gonna be a force to reckon with. I understand why Jey won the rumble, but imo, the winner should of been either Cena or Punk, more so Punk because he has put it out there that he hasn't main evented a wrestlemania and would like to do so. This was Cena's last Royal rumble ever. But I backed away from him winning this match because of how heavily featured he's already been for the elimination chamber show in Toronto to next month, which he already declared for btw. So I honestly thought Punk should have won. I was getting close to calling this the greatest Royal rumble ever if Cena or Punk won, I would still have it up there tho along with 92, 01, 07, and 2020. Incredible match that I had a blast watching with the guys. Very overhated match because of the man who won the match"
[8.0] "This is a dark horse opinion yet also not a dark horse opinion. Jey Uso winning the Royal Rumble does not impact my enjoyment of the match itself, which in itself, was an absurdly fun and exciting Rumble, easily one of the best IMO. From a great one and two of Penta and Rey followed by Gable and just good wrestlers to Breakker killing fools left and right to the amazing Ishowspeed celebrity comedy spot, doing exactly what it needed to do while not taking up too much time while also seeing Speed get absolutely murdered by Breakker. The fun continued especially when Fatu came out and just started to kill people. The surprise of Hendry, while he didn't do much in the match, was good fun and then things just kicked into high gear with Reigns coming out. From him just going on a elimination spree to the spear clash with Breakker where Breakker just BROKE Reigns, there is so much fun. This rumble is so star studded they were legit able to just stop stuff for a minute and have dudes come out and make their entrances. Punk, Rollins, Cena, McIntyre, Zayn, just so many big names and so much fun. It's crazy that this Rumble, if it didn't have the major winners controversy, would be so fondly talked about that the return of AJ Styles gets overshadowed HEAVILY. It was all start never stop and it just kept on coming. The rumble does get weaker at the final 3, although that moment of Punk, Reigns and Rollins on the outside post elimination is great, especially that murderous double foot stomp that just looked like it killed Reigns. As someone who was lowkey pushing for a Logan Paul Rumble win, I was fine with him in the final 3, but man was that final 2 tense as hell. That's how Rumbles always are, regardless of who is in the final 2 or not because there is always the what if chance for a botch. But man did that ending shock the hell out of me. In the vacuum of this amazing Rumble match, Jey Uso was shocking, unpredictable, and most of all is an amazing choice to win. It's a star studded Rumble and they picked an up and coming star to be the winner. Now same with the Women's Rumble, I won't go in detail to my issues with Jey winning but in short: Jey winning is great for him, a great choice overall, and is very shocking but also I just don't care for his Mania directions, both Rhodes and Gunther don't interest me at all and Jey as a world title holder just doesn't spark joy or giddiness that other winners would have done. Love this Rumble to death and my issues with it do not stem from the match itself but more so literally factors that I have no control of, which is what the future holds and if Jey Uso can pull through and provide and perform on a high level consistently, which I really hope he does."
[6.0] "This had the makings of one of the best Rumbles of all time, and honestly was for a while. That is, until the absolute nonsense that ensued from Logan Paul eliminating CM Punk to the end. Having Cena lose was fine, as him winning the Chamber was pretty much a lock, but come on. Jey Uso is one of the most asinine Rumble winners of all time, next to Vince McMahon. Even though his character was pretty compelling during the peak Bloodline days, he has never shown the makings of a champion besides his entrance. Such a mind boggling decision made even worse when you watch the rumble episode of Unreal. (6.5/10)"
[9.0] "The best Royal Rumble in the last 5 years, and probably one of the best Rumble matches I've ever seen. Despite not being a fan of the Usos as wrestlers or as contenders for the world title, their victory was very unexpected and basically signaled that we're finally returning to the days when anyone could be the winner and champion. That's great for the intrigue. Essentially, it pulled us out of three years of dullness and lack of storyline excitement in WWE's world title runs since 2022. In terms of the Rumble itself and its quality, everything was top-notch. There was a lot of great wrestling; Penta showed himself really well (the first pair with Rey Mysterio was interesting). The surprise appearance of Joe Hendry and hearing his theme throughout the arena was magical. The incredible entrance of John Cena ("Last Time Is Now") was very cool and cinematic. Punk's return and AJ Styles' old theme song comeback were also highlights. This Rumble managed to surprise even without big returns, and it definitely paid off. Watching the fan footage of those who saw the show live, I really wanted to attend such an event in person. It was truly very high quality. The show kept everyone in suspense until the very last second. When it looked like Cena was 100% going to win, the result turned out to be a shock. That kind of unpredictability is what makes Rumble matches great. Emotions are the most important thing in wrestling -- they're what drive the global pro-wrestling scene. Not better than Royal Rumble 2020, but still very awesome. I've watched all the Rumbles, but I'd rank this one as top-2.""

[7.0] "Jey Uso was given the ball to either win the game or lose it, and he weirdly did both. I'm in the camp that his weird booking got in the way of him being on a greater path for improvement, but it goes without saying that he's pretty lacking in-ring-wise. Regardless, he's turned into an undeniable superstar, with massive popularity amongst the youth on top of having some of the best crowd control we've seen all year in the wrestling industry. While I would've rather had a winner like LA Knight, AJ Styles or Penta, I'm overall fine with the swerve they did here. The match itself had a ton of modern-day legends, ignited storylines, and amazing spots. Shoutout to IShowSpeed for already being one of the greatest sellers in wrestling history."
[10.0] "THe most stacked rumble ever. So much fun seeing penta and rey in the ring to start off the rumble. The Bron spear on speed is one of the funniest moments in wrestling. And the ending two of Jey and John was nail biting. And when Jey won it was so unexpected and such a awesome moment and story. I mean this guy went from being a undercard tag role.To becoming a main event guy due to only his hard work and dedication and to win against the face of the company is such a full circle moment"
[7.0] "Was building into an all timer rumble. Insane star power, good start, fun spots, great structure. Everything was damn near perfect until Logan eliminated Punk who was to me 100% winning. LP and Uso in final 3 didn't feel good knowing that Cena was obviously not winning. Rewarding Uso for merch sales and the yeeting is understandable but him being the rumble winner didn't feel right."
[5.0] "Didn't really care for this rumble. To say this was hyped as the last Royal Rumble of John Cena's career, his performance in the match really was a nothing burger. I don't think he did anything of note, he got a couple of eliminations and faced off with his old rivals but that's all, not even any major jumps. Jey Uso was a dull winner and he's completely gone down the cards since, that booking certainly hasn't aged well. I didn't care for any of the big names here, even more so that there performances were nothing, it was the 2017 Royal Rumble all over again where they all got jobbed out after a short amount of time. The celebrities I care even less about, no reason to have them. Overhyping can easily hurt a match and that's exactly what happened here, an overhyped nothing rumble that gave us nothing special."
[2.0] "normal / fun rumble until punk got eliminated by LOGAN PAUL, after that it just got horrible. jey uso winning was one of the worst decisions of the "triple h era". the win led to a bad wrestlemania match and a very bad reign. jey uso is just a bad singles wrestler and probably the worst option to win the rumble, apart from paul. hm yeah it needs more characters so im just writing to write, 9 left!"
[8.0] "Honestly was a pretty nice Rumble. The IShowSpeed cameo was fun, Logan Paul tossing out Punk pissed me off (but in the way it was supposed to, and it made sense for the overall story). I thought about Jey Uso winning beforehand and was so happy it ended up happening. The guy definitely deserved it, and eliminating John Cena last was just the cherry on top. Straightforward kinda Rumble, but in this case, that's not a bad thing. [****.25]"
[5.0] "This was a disappointing royal rumble and I can't remember the last great rumble that was done. It started off fine but towards the end just became a mess. This & the MITB match I'm starting to get tired of like I've seen it all and there's nothing new left to do in these matches"
[3.0] "The moment Jey Uso wins the Royal Rumble before CM Punk, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, La Knight, Drew McIntyre, AJ Styles, Andrade or JOHN CENA he loses everything that the fight itself gave, the fight was very good, many moments and viral clips, like Speed with Bron, Punk vs Rollins vs Reigns, John Cena's aura, etc. but that JEY USO won instantly is a 0"
[10.0] "I know this may seem high knowing what comes after, but boy am i a fiend for royal rumbles and the pure elation i felt throughout this match made me feel like a little kid again, may not be the best technical match or anything like that but sometimes you have to rate from the heart"
[9.0] "One of my favorite Rumbles ever honestly. The star power is astounding, the crowd is hot, it's booked expertly well with everyone (even the midcarders) getting a moment to shine, and it has a truly surprising winner. I don't like that Jey won, but it's nice to see a truly unpredictable Rumble winner. The Rumble was segmented well with the luchadors at the start, the Speed comedy bit might even be funnier than Drew Carey's spot in 2001, Jacob Fatu and Bron Breaker had great showings, and they kept things fresh before the main eventers started entering in the second half. The second half of the Rumble was pure Sports Entertainment spectacle with big faceoffs and clashes with the likes of Cena, Roman, Punk, and Rollins. The brawl between Punk, Reigns, and Seth after they are all eliminated was exciting and properly sets up their Mania Triple Threat. It's just a stellar Rumble with a divisive but surprising victor."
[10.0] "I think k having Jey win was a bad decision. However, WWE was able to shock me and doesn't happen often. So by default I'm gonna agive them higher ratings. But the rest of the rumble was pretty solid too. The first half was really cool spots and good wrestling. I loved the speed addition. I loved the interaction between Roman and Bron. Bron was my MVP. He looked like an absolute beast in this match. Then the other portion was just filled with star power and nostalgia. Cena, Punk, AJ, Seth, Roman... just too much star power. I also think Seth and Roman double elimination from Punk was an incredible visual. The stuff they did outside was great as well. Logan eliminated both AJ and Punk so he got insane amount of heat from the crowd. The last interaction between Jey and Cena was really good. I was on the edge of my seat. Again, not my preferred winner, but WWE did such a good job so I respect it"
[9.0] "I get that the winner is controversial and I was never a big fan of Jey winning but the structure of this rumble was perfect. A couple surprises, many memorable moments and just being the most stacked rumble ever"
[5.0] "You have CM Punk, John Cena, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, AJ Styles, Drew McInyre and you pick the yeetman to win? I know Jey is popular, but he already lost 3 world title matches in 2024 and this made Cena look weak more than Jey strong. Also Logan Paul eliminated CM Punk."
[4.0] "I don't really like this Rumble. For starters, you had Carmelo Hayes who could've had a breakout showing in this get tossed out first. I'll get to the other issues later. Seeing IShowSpeed was funny stuff and fit the comedy spot that the Rumble needed. Roman coming out halfway surprised me and seeing him interact with Penta & Dominik was nice and refreshing. What threw me off was seeing Drew McIntyre get tossed out by Damian Priest. It was looking like it was going to be a "Bloodline Hunter" story between Drew & Roman but got scrapped. Seeing Cena & Punk share a ring again was great. Shield lore in 2025 was good to see. But after that, Logan Paul eliminating CM Punk completely threw it off. They gave us one of the worst final 3's in history with John Cena, Logan Paul, & Jey Uso. And then they have Jey fucking Uso win the Royal Rumble. This is easily the most wasted potential WWE ever had in a match and it is due to the questionable booking the final stretch of the match had."
[6.0] "Honestly enjoyed the match. Jey winning isn't the way i would have gone if i were booking, but i don't think it was a bad choice. jey is probably the most over character we have seen in wwe in a while, especially with fans that show up to shows in person. It was a fun match, that could have been better, but i still enjoyed it."
[3.0] "For about 60% of this match I was having a great time and enjoying all of the entrants. I got a huge kick out of Bron spearing ishowspeed. Kudos to him for taking that spear and being energetic. I was sports entertained. Seeing Penta and Rey square off was exciting too. Then Finn and Nakamura came out and since I'm not a weekly show viewer, (only PLEs), I was shocked at how bland not only their music was, but how they looked. Nak isn't awful but it doesn't suit him. Finn Balor wrestling in plain white Nikes looks odd. Then AJ returned which was great, Cena, Roman, and then downhill. Jey Uso would never have been my first choice, I do support having a fresh winner. It's a sink or swim time for Jey. It wasn't well booked at all."
[5.0] "After watching about half of the rumbles so far this is super unimpressive. Ending victory didn't feel earned, pacing was all over the place. I felt that it lacked impact. I am a Jey Uso hater but I understand that he's very over and popular so it's fine, I do feel him winning could've been built better. Just a really nothing match."
[9.0] "I genuinely don't get the hate for this match. Ever since 2020 I haven't a royal rumble ever be praised after it was done and I think that's a shame because this match ruled. It started with a great starting 2 with Penta and Rey, then the came the rest of the entertaining mid carders for the early part. Then came the monsters like Bron Breakker and Jacob Fatu who had hype staredowns with every other person in the match. But then the match shifted at about the 15th entrant when Roman Reigns entered, it was now time for the main eventers and the actual contenders like Mcintyre & Uso. Then the absolute hype everyone felt when Cena, Punk and Rollins all entered back to back to back was amazing. Then the eliminations of Roman, Rollins and Punk were a shock because they were all favorites in some way (especially Punk) but you could immediately tell that this was going to build to Wrestlemania and a match with incredible star power. Then the winner I have no problem with, all the marks want to complain about Jey Uso but if you'd just let yourself have fun instead of act like you're some snarky wrestling reviewer who needs everyone to be Will Ospreay in the ring you might actually enjoy watching wrestling. Plus after the promo on raw where he said "but I can beat him" I wanted him to win even if I didn't think it would happen. The only gripes I have with this match is Logan Paul finishing in the top 3, I don't dislike Logan in the WWE as a whole but 2 top 3 finishes in the rumble already is kind of ridiculous. I also really disliked the eliminations of Jacob Fatu and Drew Mcintyre. 9.0/10"
[4.0] "Horrible match especially the rush to the end, an horrible choice of a winner it just felt so weird. Surprises weren't awesome. nice performance for a lot of guys but nothing that will make anyone forget how messy it was. Royal Rumble is one of my favorite type of match but this was felt like a huge "meh""
[4.0] "If there is one thing I hate, it is a boring Royal Rumble match.. This isn't the worst rumble match. The women's match this year was worse. But for a match to have the kind of star-power that this match has, just for there to be no exciting spots, no fun or surprising returns.. that is truly unforgivable."
[5.0] "First half of the rumble was really good, many good midcarders and interesting people to watch. Actually one of the best rumble about that specific aspect. The Ishowspeed segment was short and well made too. Bron et Fatu were awesome and greatly built as big strong guys, which was perfect. The Joe Hendry entrance was the last good moment before the underwhelming second half. We knew the stat power they had on this match, and all the links between many of the wrestlers. But what they did was just throwing the guys in the ring to do....nothing ? Yeah there was a stare down, and then what ? Drew spent many promos telling how he will get his hands on Punk, what ahppened was him trying to fight Punk for like 5 seconds in total. Except for the Rollins/Reigns angle, they never exploited the stars and stories they had, a stare down and people in the ring IS NOT booking an exciting match. Obviously, the end of the match made me go insane (not in the positive way). Logan Paul eliminating both AJ Styles and CM Punk ? Drew was screwed once again, terrible booking. Jey, Logan Paul and part timer Cena was a depressing final 3, but I was still fine with Cena winning.. but they let Jey Uso win. Jey Uso will face a world champion at Wrestlemania, I just can't handle that."
[8.0] "They've got the structure down perfectly now. Pretty much perfect other than the winner, should've swapped Jey Uso with Sami Zayn, he's only a year older than Uso and has ten times the skill, and if he won the gold that's a prefect arc for his WWE run. Paul's eliminating of Punk and Styles annoyed the heck out of me watching it the first time, now only Styles elimination does, since Punk's revenge was fantastic and Style's was lame."
[9.0] "It's so great to see actually top stars in the rumble. Jey winning was something that I didn't even consider because I didn't see him anywhere near a big enough star. That being said I don't grade matches mainly off who wins. Bron Breakker and Roman Reigns interaction is why the rumbles so cool when the top stars participate. The match was highly entertaining and kept you guessing to the end."
[4.0] "With the power of hindsight I actually want to lower my rating. Wrestlemania 41s hype died with this match for me. Jey Uso is possibly a bottom 5 rumble winner all time and it lead to the most predictable and deflating match in recent Mania history. I mean you had so many big names here, and John Cena ended up main eventing WM41 anyway so why not just have him win. Penta botched a spot early that eliminated him which was kind of embarrassing to watch but they played it off well, nobody really had a massive showcase and the surprise entrances were Joe Hendry which was amazing but he got marked instantly because of course, and Speed which was at least really funny. Not the worst rumble, but not one I'll be rewatching."
[7.0] "I have to give credit where it's due here. This match was very good and the shock finale of Jey Uso winning the Royal Rumble by eliminating John Cena wasn't a blunder, since at least it worked out in the grand scheme of things (at least in my opinion). Maybe my judgement is misplaced, but either way this wasn't nearly as disastrous as some might make it out to be. It wasn't stellar, it wasn't perfect (if it were perfect, Logan Paul wouldn't be there), but there were a good many entertaining parts and potential for a lot of programs down the line, which is really a major part of the Royal Rumble. [7.5/10 {rounded down due to my initial apprehension to its finish}]"
[8.0] "Rewatched this recently, and holy shit it was actually on track to be the best Rumble of all-time. I understand that a lot of the 50-50 reaction came from Jey Uso winning (who I still believe was the wrong winner), but the momentum they built throughout this entire match came to a screeching halt when Logan Paul entered, and then they had him make the Top 3. Many other very weird booking decisions such as Drew not actually interacting properly with Roman or Punk after the promo he cut on the previous Raw, and other stuff makes this a very weird Rumble to rate, but I think I'm gonna settle at a 4 star/8 out of 10, simply because it's still a very good Rumble, but with a very weird and stupid closing stretch. **** (4)."
[3.0] "Without too many phrases, it was a mediocre brawl. The first half was absolute nothing, I started enjoying it from the entrance of Strowman onwards. From number 22 they decided to let all the athletes with more starpower enter and the pace was more enjoyable. Below I want to report the critical points that I highlighted: - The omnipresent writings at the bottom with the statistics, the numbers of those eliminated and the Fortnite ads are very annoying. - Bad idea to let all those highflyers enter for the entire first half - Bron and Jacob convinced but they are not yet so "built" to carry on such an important match - Joe Hendry's entrance was predictable but wasted. Thrown out after 2 minutes by Roman as if to underline: we give you permission to enter our rings, but you will always remain weak compared to WWE. - Unpredictable result but it's ok. - Shameful management of LA Knight, Nakamura, Strowman and Domick. - The most likely winners all entered in the last 10 minutes, which is ALWAYS wrong. - Poor Drew, eliminated like a nobody, but also the elimination of Punk was a bit too casual."
[8.0] "I find this rating to be extremely harsh considering how thoroughly entertaining this one was all the way through. I understand some taking gripes with Jey getting the win over Punk, Seth, Cena, Drew, Roman, but sometimes a surprising result is what you need. I have a few issues with the match; Drew was way underutilized and having Logan Paul eliminate CM Punk is bad booking. Sometimes the boos aren't just heel heat, sometimes people just hate the guy. But outside of that, I loved nearly every second. Props to Speed for taking that Spear. Final thought: this solidifies Bron Breaker, Penta and Jacob Fatu. Those three are stars."
[7.0] "One of the most "Anybody can win" royal rumble match ever. Roman Reigns, CM Punk, Seth Rollins, John Cena, Drew McIntyre. But Jey Uso? Left field for sure. The surprises were good, the performances were good, the staredowns were good. A rumble is never really about the in ring ability shown but the moments it creates, and this one was for sure up there"
[9.0] "6.10? Nah this rumble ROCKED. The Penta botch was kinda disappointing but other than that this was a Rumble for the ages. IShowSpeed getting annihilated alone made my evening. The Reigns-Seth-Punk showdown was epic, and Logan eliminating Punk made me shout "NO! " from my house (in other words, good heel work.) Jey winning the thing left me shocked, like a good rumble should. Hope Jey proves all 26 haters wrong and becomes champ at Mania."
[8.0] "One of the best Royal Rumble matches ever. Loved it, full of great moments from the start. Penta saving himself is such a great spot, even if he touched the ground with both feet, it looked so good on the moment. IshowSpeed had a good segment in the Rumble and it didn't feel unnecessary, it was well written and that spear looked devastating. AJ Styles return was really good and all the Punk/Rollins/Reigns moments were awesome, both in and out of the ring. I had to lower the grade a bit for the winner, Jey Uso, who I immediately thought was a bad choice, and I still think he is not a good Rumble winner. Surprising? Sure, But I'd rather have a predictable winner that actually makes sense then a surprise that does not have any sense and that hasn't done anything good during this Road to Wrestlemania. I swear, Gunther is carrying the feud."
