Daisuke Sasaki, KANON & MJ Paul vs. HARASHIMA, Jun Akiyama & Tomomitsu Matsunaga

[7.0] "Punks vs. Age. Matsunaga has been the pin-eater for so, so long that giving him this big win on this larger show was both shocking and an exceptional way to build him as a more serious competitor if they want. He takes a ton of abuse in this match to the point that even I felt a little bad for him, and I've ind of always thought he was a bit of a dead end as a wrestler for DDT. He's perfect here as an underdog that creates cracks in DAMNATION T.A--history can easily look back to this match and say this was the moment Sasaki decided KANON was out. I think HARASHIMA may have really spiked KANON in his kidney with a kick, and thugh he looked rattled, I'm really impressed with how KANON not only finished the match, but drove the offense in what was arguably one of the matches most important story beats--Matsunaga's comeback. After the match, Matsunaga cut a fun little promo on how their team should have a title match, which Akito makes official for Shinjuku FACE."

[6.0] "Not bad story about a loser, who catches his chance in blink of an eye. Tomomitsu can always be pin-eater and that guy in the team, who get the most of damage from another team and here it was looking the same, but in the end he showed his energy and make an upset. DAMNATION T.A was a good bunch of heels as always and as always HARASHIMA and Akiyama was very good. Afterall, I realized that I want one more match between Sasaki and HARASHIMA."

[6.0] "Matsunaga was an awesome babyface here as per usual, he drew sympathy while getting his ass kicked, made a comeback and then surprisingly just beat KANON, while HARASHIMA and Akiyama were in the background. The rematch for trios titles was set in the future, and I think there's potential for something interesting."
