[6.0] "The last minutes of the match were impressive with two fire spot. The beginning of the match was a typical deathmatch situation wich I'm not a big fan of. Still a pretty good match. 6, 8/10"
[9.0] "One of my favorite death matches ever and one of the best I've ever watched. I rarely give a death match anything more than **** so this match absolutely blew me out of the water. So many nasty spots but they all somehow made sense. Mowery is a great addition to the death match scene. ****1/4"
[7.0] "A lot of the time full on death matches don't work for me, though occasionally they can hit the spot quite well. This was a bit in the middle, it had some death match tropes I dislike (for all the supposed brutality of the spots, there's no real effort to avoid any damage, simply shrug it off and move on), but admittedly it was quite an impressive spectacle and there was an element of story there for those looking. Enjoyable enough, others will love it more I think."
[7.0] "An absolute horror movie of a match - just a vicious fucking bloodbath with some out & out brutal moments. Of course it was also quite amateurish in places with lots of really obvious communication and a bunch of clunky transitions into all the holy shittery ***1/2"
[8.0] "Four stars, I am probably being more generous than a non-death match fan might view this though I don't foresee too many of them ending up here. This had a out of control feel, the fire spot took a bit too long to do but the flaming dropkick was actually cool looking so I'll give them a C+ for set up for a A+ spot idea. Mowery more than held his own, just destroyed his body in this one."
[8.0] "There was a good portion where i thought it was very bland for a deathmatch with little nuance but once it got in the ring it picked up and the leg fire spot was sick as fuck."
[7.0] "Completely wild + chaotic match - incredibly bloody + violent with some of the most visceral use of weapons/sharp objects that I can recall. Hoodfoot has established himself over the last 3 years or so as one of the most can't miss deathmatch guys on the US indies but I wasn't all that familiar with Mowery beforehand - but he certainly was willing to bleed a ton and take a beating. This one had some incredibly memorable spots/moments including a good 1/4 of the match taking place in the front row (with a ton of glass being rained down upon each guy/the fans), a flaming John Woo and Hoodfoot giving old Nathan a "germs burn" to his already bloody head. Would rate this even higher if it was a tad shorter/more concise - as it stands, it's still probably worth going out of your way to check out all of the insanity."
[8.0] "Nathan Mowery is an absolute animal and he should be booked everywhere in the deathmatch scene in 2025. What a performance. The Killbilly bled literal buckets and made for some of the best moments of the weekend. Was essentially a squash and he got beat the whole way by Hoodfoot but this was the type of match that makes a dude. Unreal."
