Also not much fun to watch G-Raver back now that we know a bit more about the guy. Just my two cents."
[7.0] "Didn't expect this to start with armdrags but fair play. They escalate to skewers and needles sticking out their head which is always some of the most visually impressive and gruesome stuff you can get in deathmatches. Commentary was cringe as hell but it's GCW to be fair. A lot of fun though - ***1/2"
[9.0] "Holy crap. This was the first death match I've ever watched and what an introduction. Some absolutely wince inducing use of weaponry with the needles and fork. And the headbutting with the needles was insane."
[7.0] "3. 5 Stars - This was more of a spectacle than a match. G Raver is the better worker but Tremont has way more charisma. so Tremont selling a lot more in the match and taking more damage made more sent. This was the death match sprint with some good spots but some of these spots were too much even for me and i generally don't get too fazed with death matches. The fork in head and the needles were just super grossing me out but it was a fascinating watch. these spots did lower rating for me and the commentators fucking sucked on this so bad"
[6.0] "I can't agree with the high other ratings here, but I definitely enjoyed this and thought it was pretty crazy. The match oddly began with a lot of pure wrestling exchanges before the weapon/prop spots came out, at which point it became quite gruesome. There were people crashing through glass sheets, lighttubes being broken all around, barbs getting stuck in arms, needles and forks stuck in heads, oh and people battering those needles and forks FURTHER IN with chairs, lighttubes, and even damn headbutts. It was difficult to watch this at times, but it still really entertaining. I think the totally sleazy indy presentation prevents me going higher on this match, but it was still quite fun. ***1/4"
[9.0] "Starts out as a totally normal 'wrestling match' and slowly ramps up into some of the most crazy stuff two people could possibly do to each other within the confines of a ring. G-Raver shows once again that you can still be 'ultraviolent' and work an actual match at the same time. This had all the drama, violence and spectacle you could ever want out of an extreme wrestling match and it was AWESOME, no doubt. ****1/2"
[10.0] "One of the greatest American death matches ever. Started out tame out yet slowly crescendo-ed into a depraved orgy of violence. I honestly didn't think Tremont still had performances like this left in the tank. The things he's managed to do throughout his career are almost unparalleled. G-Raver is at a point in his run where he can do no wrong. Show this match to people who think death matches don't require talent or skill. Awesome, awesome stuff here."
[10.0] "Incredible match yet still only second best on the show just behind Crane/Lloyd/Ryan. G-Raver tries things I don't see anyone else trying and he is pushing half the things he does into must-see territory. Tremont's long been a king of disgusting shit like this and the two had fantastic chemistry, which is a funny word to use for a match like this probably, but still. The spot everyone remembers with be the headbutt with the needles, which was one of the most incredible spots I've seen but just an all around great, great match here."
