[8.0] "Really good match. The crowd was behind Inoki. Fujinami was the FIP for a long heat segment. Inoki gets the hot tag but the heels cheat. Another heat on Fujinami before the finish. Love the small bits of counter wrestling. Fujinami was the best !"
[6.0] "Didn't love this as much as its reputation - despite my personal distaste for Adonis he moves really well here and plays a good bully in this one. Murdoch is Murdoch. Watching this match in the context of Fujinami's career best might have disadvantaged it since here he's functionally just a face in peril for the inevitable hot tag to Inoki."
[7.0] "I would rate this higher but man do I wish Inoki could book him out of the spotlight sometimes. This would've been so great to see Fujinami finally get the big win. Murdoch and Street are playing big American bullies so well and are such a smart team with their bending of the rules that I think the crowd would have lost it twice as much as they did if the young protégé who got beat down the whole match got the comeback win against the two tough gaijin."
[9.0] "Great match. Adonis moves around like Randy Savage, Murdoch does a great job at playing the rough neck, Fujinami is an excellent underdog workhorse here; you can see shades of Bryan Danielson in his charisma and technical prowess. Even Inoki, who's probably the weakest worker here, come out looking great. A phenomenal showing, even 37 years after the fact. ****1/2"
