What we saw was perfectly fine with many good sequences. I liked how Spanky does the Flair Flip into the top rope and counters a slam off the top rope by Kazarian with a guillotine on the top rope. Spanky works a bit over the knee, but Kazarian gains momentum and hits his Springboard legdrop. Spanky goes for the Sliced Bread #2, but Kazarian turns in into a backslide. Then he puts him in the Back to the Future position, but Spanky turns it into a Victory Roll. In the final sequence, Kazarian does a magnificent counter of the Sliced Bread #2 into the Wave of the Future. After the match we see them talking, but Spanky turns on Kazarian and hits his finisher, setting another match in the future I guess, which should be good."

Spanky would go on to wrestle on the indies, and primarily in Zero-One before returning to WWE the following year. This match was short, and I wouldn't have minded a few minutes more from these two competitors. I'm glad PWG paired Spanky with Frankie Kazarian, these two are just a cut above most wrestlers on these early PWG shows."
