[8.0] "I ended up liking this a lot more than I thought i was going to. Komander had some huge believable pin attempts at the end. The big man/small man really worked. Komander is getting better and has put his shoulders down for everyone. I wonder who will do the same for him. Brody was awesome as usual."
[8.0] "A pretty fun main event, in which both of these guys played their roles well. Komander had a really good flurry of offense on King towards the end, even though I never really thought he was winning. This was a nice win for King, too, and I think both men looked good coming out of this."
[9.0] "Last year we saw Daniel Garcia rebound from a low point during the C2 and, despite a low point total, he got the fans to reinvest in his success. It's not a perfect comparison but I feel like something similar has happened to Komander, he came in as a guy with some exciting spots then dropped down the card when the initial buzz wore off, but after replacing Juice in the tournament (sorry Juice but thank god) he's had nothing but great showings, and he has come off as far more well rounded in the process. Of course it always helps to fight a guy like Brody King, who seems to be kicking ass on a new level every week. I dearly hope sooner than later he splits off the House of Black because at this point they're just holding him back, at the very least let him stay on a singles push. Great big guy vs. little guy match, they played off each other exceptionally well. It was just high of the highest tier but it was pretty much exactly what it needed to be, very good."
[9.0] "Geniunely the best match of the C2 this year so far. Yes, even better than Darby vs Ospreay. I went in knowing that Brody was winning yet was still convinced that Kommander could still somehow win it. Just near fall, after near fall, after near fall. Kommander has really stepped up in place of Juice and I wouldn't have it any other way. Credit to Brody as well as it takes 2 to tango and as usual, he's the perfect big man to go against these lighter opponents. Really hope he gets a singles push soon"

[7.0] "This match was very good, both guys are stiff in their own way, Brody King, of course, as the huge guy he is, had the majority of actions and dominated Komander for a long period of time, but Komander showed spirit and fought hard, almost defeating the giant in the end of the match, he had a great momentum, and everything under control, but Brody recovered and managed to steal it. The choice of structure here was pretty obvious, but it really worked out well and the crowd loved it, the match was really interesting - {***1/4}"
[6.0] "***3/4 good match, good chemistry, good sequences, a good and surprisingly long duration, Komander continues to shine and surprise, he lost but I hope they give him the victory against Claudio on Dynamite now that he is ROH TV champion, the ending was well a little abrupt and simple"

Both guys went all out in this one, with Komander doing everything he possibly could to try to keep Brody down, and Brody absolutely brutalizing Komander on the outside of the ring. This is the sort of stuff I really enjoy in wrestling"

In reality, he won the ROH TV Title in Survival of the Fittest, but more people would have seen him put in a gallant effort in a loss to Brody King, who has now put himself in a very good position to qualify for the Continental Classic semi finals. It's performances like this one that helped Komander towards his title."
[8.0] "Totally the match it needed to be between two guys like them, usually Brody King vs. a smaller opponent sounds phenomenal and this was no exception. Just Komander getting destroyed for fifteen minutes while making awesome comebacks and bumpin' like a mad man for Brody. The crowd was into it, the action was good, yeah it ruled."
