Al Snow, Taz, The Sandman & Tommy Dreamer vs. Doug Furnas, Philip LaFon, Rob Van Dam & Sabu

[7.0] "Man, what an absolutely great 8 man tag team TV match this is! In the Hammerstein Ballroom too! Just wild brawling and high spots and the technical aspect that Furnas and LaFon bring in, this is just a totally fun 8 man TV match and shit I haven't even mentoned how over Al Snow is here! Great fun. ***1/2"

[7.0] "a good match between great wrestlers of ecw but still quite short for a 8 man tag team but a fun match nevertheless"

[7.0] "It is a short and fun typical brawl. I didnt like the part where the locker room emptied out to separate or fight with Taz and whoever, but the match itself was lots of fast action, fun"

[9.0] "So this match came about in typical chaotic fashion for ECW. Earlier in the show Taz had come out to stand up to "Brakus", an insanely muscled man on loan from the WWF (where he did very little, but still), when he was jumped by his eternal rival Sabu and his WWF loving friend, RVD. Some of ECW's core guys came out to attack the WWF supporters, who were joined by Furnas and Lafon, also on loan from the WWF. The brawl broke up but the ECW guys made a challenge for an 8 man fight in the main event. Taz, ever the anrgy loner, threatened that he might not show up to help ECW because he never asked for their help and didn't owe them anything, but I guess his urge to fight overcame his prickly attitude because he did indeed take part in the match. The action was wild as expected, with fights going all over the building and very little tagging, though in a mildly humorous moment Taz did try to get himself tagged in legally before fighting. Part of his whole gimmick is that he was a legitimate wrestler in a world of rule breaking lowlifes, after all. Taz, Sabu, and RVD were the most impressive of the bunch, though everyone did well in their own way and the crowd was rocking for the action. We got some big moves, a couple big hardcore spots, basically all you could want, and the ECW team fought out a win in the end. It won't explode your mind but it was a hell of a lot of fun. Al Snow has just started his "head" gimmick and the fans love it, for whatever reason."
