15 | 07.01.2025 | ElRaven | 7.0 | Like Alex Shelley, I was shocked by Johnny Gargano's actions. Because everything was heading towards DIY breaking up, but WWE was able to surprise us, and that's cool. I like how these teams interact with each other and now the matches between them will be even more personal. I also like that Johnny and Tomasso will now get more airtime on SmackDown. ***1/2 |

30 | 15.12.2024 | Frank Shooter | 6.0 | Two of the best heel turns in recent memory happening in the same week is just incredible. The SmackDown tag team division is finally cooking again with this great story that ended up bringing an unpredictable turn and result with DIY winning their overall 3rd tag titles in WWE, 2nd on the main roster. I'm glad they didn't went with another Ciampa vs Gargano feud and we're going to see a barely explored side of DIY, with the return of the heel Johnny that formed The Way (if we're having them back with Austin Theory it would be really nice, and if they just give them the same kind of booking they were given at NXT we're going to have so much fun with them). Johnny Gargano is a very likable babyface, but dude is also an awesome heel, a wolf in sheep's clothing, a creative evil mastermind planning to take the titles away from the MCMG taking advantage of the close bond he had with them. The story of the match didn't allow this to be as great as it could really be from the in-ring perspective, but when you have a great story, a great surprise and a great execution with a refreshing situation on one of the teams, there's nothing more to ask for. I'd still like for these two teams to have a proper banger in the good old Black and Gold style on PPV to steal the show. Really great moment (*** 1/4) |

The people do eventually get with them though, somewhat responding to the DIY drama and their eventual swerve finish. **3/4 |
51 | 10.12.2024 | Screaming Enigma | 6.0 | Not as good as their previous match, in my opinion. However, this was more about DIY turning than it was about the actual wrestling. That said, I'm glad DIY turned heel together, as opposed to Ciampa turning on Gargano again. I'm also really hoping that we get a third match between these two teams, possibly at a PLE, where they can really just let loose and have an all-out banger. |

84 | 08.12.2024 | Wrestlingfan0808 | 8.0 | This was one of smackdowns best in ring episodes in quite a while. Even tho they leaned towards the story telling aspects in regards to the diy heel turn, I still thought this match was pretty good. The profits getting taken out before the match, leading to Johnny stepping in and getting diy a match for the belts instead, leading to them winning them too! With the tag teams smackdown has I have no issue with the belts being hot potatoed around for a bit. Would like to see the profits win them eventually and then mcmg regain them. This could lead to some of the best storyline stuff and matches we have seen on smackdown since the smackdown 6 era. |
85 | 08.12.2024 | Thenxt observer | 7.0 | ***1/2 (07/10) Towards the end of this golden year of 2024, we have seen some of the best heel turns in glorious WWE history. DIY's will undoubtedly be considered one of the better ones, and, perhaps, one of the most brilliant. A complete-180 from where they were when they first won the belts earlier this year. I have a feeling I'm going to enjoy this DIY a bit more. |

But paradoxically I am quite surprised and disappointed that MCMG lost the title so quickly. Let's see what happens next. |
