2029.08.2021LariatNation8.0This was BRUTAL! The undying spirit of Saree against the elite technique of Meiko Satomura in one of the best matches of the year. Saree was absolutely relentless, coming at Satomura with reckless abandon and a seemingly endless supply of energy. Satomura was remorseless in her retort, striking hard and utilizing a series of submissions in an attempt to control the chaos. Sarray simply would not let up. It was a star-making performance for Sarray in what rivaled her clash with Takumi Iroha for the best of her career up to that point. For Satomura, it was yet another feather in her cap as she strengthens her case for Mount Rushmore status. The strikes that she hit Sarray with were downright insane and her pacing was absolutely flawless. With her refusal to accept a count-out victory, we saw equal parts of fighting spirit, encouragement, and disrespect of her opponent with every single action. Even when she was not in control, this was an absolute clinic. She made Sarray run a mile to gain an inch and had an answer for everything that seemed to swing momentum. It was the ultimate test for Sarray and the type of challenge that very few could stand up to. An outstanding match! 4. 25 stars, 8. 5 out of 10.

3601.10.2019arrancar7.0This was really good but held back by an abrupt finish. 90% of this match was kick-based, and Meiko excelled here, delivering some incredibly stiff and dangerous looking kicks that Sareee sold extremely well. Sareee herself would get some really good stiff kicks too, and some good suplexes also, but Meiko was absolutely the star here with how perfectly she executed all these flashy kicks and other strikes. I also really enjoyed how she carried herself as such a badass, since that added to the aura of her offence. Both wrestlers showed heaps of passion, and Sareee's felt maybe the slightest bit forced, but it mostly came across well because she could back it up with a relatively exciting offence. The ending was just really weird, as Meiko hit a series of beautiful head kicks but still couldn't put Sareee away, and then Sareee simply hit a series of uranages to pick up the win. This felt far too rushed given that Meiko was on offence for 90% of the match. Sareee needed a far longer period of control at the end in order for her winning to feel convincing. Still, I appreciated the performances that both women gave. I'm definitely starting to worry that Sareee is becoming the latest Japanese star to start getting massively overrated this year though. ***1/2

4628.06.2019NEVERoverweightChampion8.0Stiff match with a good underdog work from Sareee. We know that Meiko Satomura is one of the best, once again she did great, it's rare to see her lose but it's what makes it even more important and really puts over her opponent. Sareee deserves that victory, she is having a very good 2019.

4915.06.2019Dragon Fighter8.0First time seeing Sareee, she is quite good. She quickly gains control early but then Meiko also regains the top work. Meiko is brutal as always on offense. Her kick, suplex are always good. Sareee now constantly fights back and her performance is really good. I am a bit scared when they both hit backdrop suplexes. At some points, I am out of the match and it feels dragged. But overall enjoyable showcase.
5015.06.2019MatteoMerdok8.0I gave this match **** stars out of five. Meiko is just so good at what she does. This is my first time seeing Sareee and I'm really looking forward to watching more of her in the future. Solid match and it really was effective in putting over the younger talent.

6308.05.2019Komzu9.0Stiffest match of 2019 and #2 on my MOTY list right now. They literally spent 15 minutes kicking each other in the head real hard while also performing a masterful story. Sareee's underdog performance was tremendous, her hope spots and selling was just perfect. Meiko was Meiko, she's obviously an all-time great and once again made her opponent look like miilion bucks. The finish wasn't quite what I was expecting but I suppose it made sense. Definitely worth the watch. ****1/2
