"Crazy to go back to this now, how far the lucha bros and walter have come. I found the match very solid and impactful, rey phoenix especially was great (selling, highflying, counters). My favourite part was the chop exchanges between penta and walter, I'm rooting to see an updated version of this now. I like syncronised finish in tag teams matches, this one was cool and represented each of walter and thatcher's style."

[6.0] "My opinions on wrestling have changed a lot over the years. I used to be a big fan of WALTER, but after rewatching a lot of his matches I've noticed the flaws in his work. Thatcher is still yet to leave a huge impression on me, and that didn't change here. There were a couple exchanges of good strikes between both teams, but that's all there was to enjoy here for me, since everything else they did had either minimal effort or no creativity. Penta ran through his usual underwhelming offense. Superkicks, leg kicks, and chops. Fenix was very impressive with his bumping and he made all of WALTER's attacks look a lot better than they were. I thought Fenix's offense was okay, but he also didn't do anything creative or very impactful either. It was a pretty short match and there wasn't any real story to tell, so I'm surprised by the high rating. ***"

[9.0] "Absolute insanity of a match between the Lucha Brothers and Ringkampf right here which was really the long-awaited spectacle with two teams so different and yet so good at the same time, very surely two of the best teams in the world at that time if not the two best so it was really a kind of dream match and anyway you can feel it just from the crowd who set up an absolutely incredible energy & atmosphere to make this match a total success right away. And to go along with it, they were obviously thanked in the best way possible with a match that completely lived up to expectations, of course these four amazing performers so well known for never having a bad match delivered and it was a fucking blast to watch. A real clash of styles & cultures with the mexican luchadors on one side and the european bullies on the other, they delivered the kind of epic tag team action you want to see with them. Everyone did their job very well, everyone performed at their usual high level and it made for a spectacular match."

It made for a nice contrast to Ringkampf's grounded and hard hitting style. The strikes here from both teams were crisp and on point too. Definitely the match of the tournament, ****1/2."

[10.0] "This was a crazy match. From the beginning they went into the fifth gear and never slowed down, There was no build up, both teams immediately went all out and beat the hell out of each other. Kicks, chops, lariats, dives, this had everything you could expect out of these two teams. Surely the best match from the weekend."
