[9.0] "A three year journey for Gresham in ioc culminated in the super indy 17 finals against David Starr. Gresham entered the match with hurt ribs, and Davey made sure to capitalize on that disadvantage. Jon fought back, targeting Starr s left arm through the match. The first half had many beautiful technical wrestling sequences and the second half, as the intensity grew, was more of a fight. Starr brutalized Gresham with his lariat, both men exchanged some nasty forearms and Gresham continued attacking Starrs left arm. Daveys germans almost took out Gresham, but at the Starr got caught in the octopus stretch, he couldn t take the pain that was being inflicted on his arm, and finally tapped out. Gresham finally won the Super Indy."
