I expected the leader of Chase-U to do the favor for his old alliance. Another strong slot on the card! I was at the card, and I, my girlfriend, and the crowd were all having a fun time (not consistently loud, but loud at hard-hitting moments, and there were plenty). It seemed that the vibe (at least, live at the event) all felt right, and nothing tonight was gonna get us to turn on the show."
"I love NXT, but it is a show full of workers that aren't over. The show is to teach these guys what to do when they are finally over with the audience. Crowd was dead for this one and out to make their own fun. I am pretty sure people chanted WE WANT PUMPKINS multiple times."
[5.0] "After a pretty solid start to the show, we get here. I wouldn't call this a bad match, but it wasn't great either. There were some cool spots, but this kind of dragged for the most part. Holland getting the win makes sense, though, and it looks like he'll be one of the next big heels in NXT."

I would've given it a 6, however it was so dull and boring and such a downgrade from the matches prior to this so I decided to dock a point from it. I didn't enjoy it, however I didn't exactly hate it. Overall just kinda feels like a nothing match that did nothing for anyone."
[8.0] "I don't understand at all why the site users gave this match such a low rating. First of all, I liked that Ambulance was vintage this time, this element alone makes the match more memorable. It was pretty brutal, there was intrigue in it, and this match was preceded by an interesting storyline. Yes, it is somewhat reminiscent of the Diamond Mine storyline that led to the Ambulance match at Halloween Havoc 2022, but Ridge's betrayal seems more justified, given his unstable mental state. And there is even logic in his words. After all, he brought Chase U the tag team titles, which Andre Chase lost soon after. Ridge believes that the university took advantage of him and tried to destroy his individuality. Then Ridge decided to destroy the university with frightening sadism. Spoiler: Contrary to the widespread concept of a "fairytale" victory of the underdog hero over a bigger bully, this time it was the villain who won. And this could give him the boost he needs to become a top heel for the brand. ****"
[6.0] "Alright match.Some decent spots.I think it actually ran its full course a match compared to others that felt really rushed especially the last 2.I don't think it was amazing as a match though.Ridge still kind of scares me when he does the move that probably ended Big Es career.Overall, mid match."

[3.0] "Not good at all Im afraid. Dont think Ridge has the juice to justify being pushed this hard, as interesting as the Chase U breakup couldve been going in. Lacked brutality for an ambulance match, and the pacing was lethargic. Also found the finish an out of nowhere anticlimax that didnt justify the matchs existence. A couple nice storytelling beats here and there but nothing that justifies its spot on the card."
[2.0] "Very poor match in my opinion! Easily forgettable! I enjoy these two usually but something was off and I found it very boring! Maybe after the women's tag team being so great it was hard to attach myself to this match! The highlight was the tribute to Foley!"
[2.0] "Worst match of the night & by a wide margin, pacing was slow, spots felt sloppy & not impactful, Ridge just isnt very good which is why him getting so much shine on this show was weird, to say the least. NXT is lacking in the mens division big time so hopefully Ridge/Trick is just a placeholder feud for something bigger they have planned because this isnt something anyones really looking forward too"
[5.0] "A decent grudge match that actually played into the Ambulance Match stipulation pretty well, which is often considered one of the more tedious match types and can result in quite a bit of the walk and brawl style, but both guys did well at keeping the crowd engaged and peppering in some big moments before the finish. The fight through the crowd was a nice touch, as the Philly crowd was hot for Andre Chase. Chase sprayed Holland with a fire extinguisher which I loved, before they did a lot of work with the stretcher from the back of the ambulance. Some decent work with some weapons, but the match ramped up when Ridge pulled the ringside mats up, but Chase got him with a back body drop on the concrete. The fight up to the ambulance was a little slow, but then Andre hit this crazy and messy looking senton off the top of the ambulance to Ridge. The fact that he does this stuff in a sweater and slacks will never not be funny to me. Andre got Ridge in the ambulance, but Holland escaped, hit the Redeemer and shoved Chase in for the win. Between the Ghostbusters style Ambulance and Andres Freddy Kruger inspired sweater, the Halloween vibe was there and this was all just a good bit of fun typical of the Chase U stories. (**3/4)"
[2.0] "What is the deal with this Ridge Holland push? He's really not much better in the ring. This match was ok I guess but I found it to be mostly perfunctory and a little hokey. Campiness and cheesiness aren't bad things but in this instance they are because was supposed to be a serious blood feud. Then we had to endure an equally poor interactions with Bubba Ray Dudley."
[7.0] "I really enjoyed this match and the result is a nice next step into the building of Ridge Holland into a formidable singles wrestler. The stretcher stuff was a bit silly, sure, but it fit well with the match and overall theme of the PLE. Performed well by both men."
[8.0] "I think a lot of the hate for this match is because Ridge Holland won, but thats one of the things I enjoyed most about it. The good guys cant always win. Plus Andre will just get the crowd behind him more in defeat. My highlight of the match was Chase using the pumpkin and the throwing up the U on top of the ambulance with the whole crowd doing it with him. Cant believe the hate this match got as it was my 3rd favorite match of the night. Excited to see where both characters go from here and if Ridge vs Trick click."

[1.0] "[0.5*] Absolutely HORRENDOUS match. Like, this was the worst NXT PLE match I have seen this year from those I remember. An absolute disasterclass. Heatless, unfunny and childish. A 2-year old child would probably laugh at it but I was just praying for it to end. Overly long too with nothing happening and absolutely no clue what the stipulation was about. At any moment they showed any kind of brutality towards each other, it seemed like it came straight from the worst NXT 2.0 days. I understand the PG aspect but it was worse than PG. The only thing that got over in the whole match was a fucking pumpkin at the ending, so not even the crowd was liking it. Awful. Also, they booked a fucking amazing match between Evans and Cedric vs Fraxiom for the weekly show, so why do not do it at the PLE?"

"A very underwhelming match which I had no interest in from the beginning. The fact that Ridge Holland is in a singles match on a PLE is evidence of how unfortunate the NXT mens division is right now. Its like HHHs obsession with continuing to push Karrion Kross despite his lack of connection with the fans and him being a charisma vacuum. I dont think anyone has ever said I cant wait to watch Ridge Holland tonight. Hes not even particularly bad in the ring, just boring and will never be anything special no matter how hard they push him. Andre, on the other hand, is good. I dont like the Chase U stuff but hes much better and tried his best to put on a good match. Also, putting them after the womens tag match was nasty work as it was pretty clear they werent gonna top that or even come close to it. [**.5]"
[2.0] "I don't get the mega push of Ridge Holland he's a below average wrestler at best and his ceiling isn't much too high either. But this match wasn't good at all. The moment in this match was when the Pumpkin was picked up and we got a huge reception from the crowd. But overall this was the worst match of the night and not to knock Andre Chase because he's actually a pretty decent wrestler but this match wasn't needed on this PLE. They should of put a Fraxiom Tag Match or have Je'Von Evans dish it out against Nathan Frazer but nope we got a very below average match sadly."

[4.0] "This was an okay ambulance match. Chase and Ridge beat each other up all over the place. They definitely tried hard, credit to them for that, but it was kind of boring and went on too long. This has been a very great story i enjoyed it a lot in my opinion this match is just decent to me. 2.50 stars"

I was initially kind of interested in this match but not a lot of interesting things happened and the finish just felt very unspectacular. Andre was particularly impressive reacting to the crowd and guiding Ridge through the match. It should have been shorter, but I thought this was a satisfying match."
[7.0] "People are over hating on the match it wasn't that bad I honestly thought it was fine there were some good spots , Andre and Holland did a good job working around the ambulance. Holland winning makes sense because he is being pushed to fight trick and in the main event scene , this is a good way to build him up. Andre won't really suffer because his character is that where he can take a loss and it wouldn't really hurt him."
