[6.0] "A nice match, wasn't really trying to be much more than a light-hearted spectacle. Tana and Kento squaring off was fun, Sekimoto was probably the most entertaining in-ring throughout, and shoutouts Yoshitatsu kicking it up a gear towards the end. ***"

[6.0] "Longest match of the night by far, was a nice way to end the show. Tanahashi got the best out of Kento, leaning into his heel side as Kento was getting cheered way more. Sekimoto is usually pretty great and Yoshitatsu is fun - ***"

I loved when he catched Tanahashi doing a Dive and just threw him on the floor outside of the ring. Miyahara is always fantastic, his Knee Strikes are like always, incredible. The face off between the Ace of NJPW and the Ace of AJPW is very emotional. ****"

[6.0] "This match was more of a historical spectacle than a properly good match, since the main appeal was seeing Tanahashi, the ex-NJPW ace and a living wrestling legend, interact with the top guys from the the other Japanese promotions (Yoshitatsu not included, sorry). Sekimoto showed the best pure offence with his beastly strikes, but Tanahashi was the more compelling worker, since he showed such great passion as he struggled against Sekimoto and Miyahara. Miyahara himself was fine; this wasn't one of his totally overdone singles matches, so I didn't mind as much seeing him spam his knee. Yoshitatsu worked hard and hit everything well enough, but he simply didn't (and still doesn't) have the personality or connection with the crowd to actually come off as interesting. He's certainly not bad, but he doesn't exude charisma, and was mostly here to take the pin. ***"

It may not be a "5 star" match, but it is definitely worth checking out. Miyahara coming out with the O. G. Triple Crown belts was also a huge plus."

[8.0] "Real fun match with a whole lot of star power. Tanahashi had just lost the IWGP Heavyweight Championship, otherwise we'd have the IWGP Heavyweight and Triple Crown champs on opposite sides of the ring, which would have been a cool thing. But Tanahashi having just come off a Wrestle Kingdom main event win and title reign still got over the idea that we were watching the fresh ace of All Japan and the weathered ace of New Japan on opposite ends of a tag match, and they were not afraid to play up that feeling. Kento looked like a million bucks the entire match, and Tanahashi was charismatic and ring-smart as he always is at this stage of his career. But it'd be a crime to only talk about them and overlook the ace of Big Japan Strong Style, Daisuke Sekimoto (wrestling on Kento's team), especially when he probably worked more of the match than anyone, and was outstanding the whole way. Sekimoto especially ruled here, where his size and power made everything he did stand out from the other three men in the match. I'm convinced this match would have been even better if it was Tanahashi & Sekimoto vs. Kento in a handicap match, but Yoshitatsu was okay too."

I think the match could be better, but still is a watchable match, but it's not an must-see or anything like that. ****1/4"

A little too much time spent on Miyahara and Yoshitatsu for my liking but I imagine this was an inevitability to avoid political issues between promotions. Worth seeing."

Ich hatte sehr viel Spaß und habe es sehr genossen, da man nicht weiß, ob diese 4 jemals wieder zusammen im Ring stehen werden."

[8.0] "This like the entire show was a lot of fun, you had plenty of crowd pleasing stuff from the guys, getting their stuff in and generally looking like they were having a lot of fun. Tanahashi and Tatsu acted as heels for most of the match working a heat segment on Kento before he got the hot tag to Sekimoto. The heat segment was not great as Tatsu and Tanahashi do not have very good offence. Tanahashi? s offence can work for singles matches where he takes his opponent apart and Tatsu works in a heated brawl with SUWAMA or Akiyama but not so much in a 20+ minute tag where they are expected to work a heat segment. It was not a bad segment just nothing special, they worked of the aura and the specialness of having Tana and Kento in the same ring. they did a little comedy work early. Finish run was good with Kento and Tatsu even though there was no doubt as to who was going to win there. I really liked the match but it was more a showcase about moments rather than outstanding work they through in a couple of big moves such as the Seki stacked German which was surprising to see Kento and Tana take. ***1/2"

[8.0] "Is it blasphemous to say this was slightly disappointing? I still really liked this match and thought it was great though, so don't get me wrong. I just figured putting 3 of the best wrestlers in the world (Yoshi is good enough to at least hang) in the same match would lead to a possible MOTYC, but what we got is what we got. It was the main event of a Baba memorial show, so of course the Triple Crown champ was going to be the star of the match, but that didn't mean Tanahashi had to put on the bare minimum of effort either. His effort wasn't bad, he still had some really good sequences with both Kento and Sekimoto, but I don't feel bad saying Yoshitatsu put in a better effort. All I can pray for is singles matches between Tanahashi and Kento/Sekimoto, but for now this was good enough to please the thought of it, ****1/4."
