The WWE Women's Tag Team Titles would end up taking such a massive dip of importance in just a matter of weeks after this, but this was still good way to kick off it's lineage."

Every single spot in this match look absolutely BRUTAL. reason 2 Everyone wrestle at a high level expect for Tamina & Nia Jax. and 3 the steady flow of this match kept the match very interesting."

[6.0] "Well, the men's elimination chamber tag match was fun, so that means this should be too, right? Unfortunately there is a dearth of talent in this match, and you should be worried about anyone not named Bayley or Sasha Banks delivering in this one. Well, Sonya doesn't look too bad in this. Liv Morgan takes two pretty nasty looking face bumps in the early going as well. Like the men's match, there is a lot of lying around when there are 3+ teams in the match. The Iiconics, as sloppy as they are, do have an impressive double pin spot for an elimination. Their stuff is genuinely entertaining in this match to be quite honest. They are certainly not for everyone, so if you aren't down with their antics you're not going to like the middle third of this. All said, *most* of this looks pretty good but it isn't mandatory viewing."

However, I felt like Tamina and Nia Jax's work in this match was bad. Yes, they were dominating 90% of the match but the in-ring skill wasn't there. The winners were a no brainer, This match can range from 8.25 to an 8.5/10"

We all knew Boss n Hug Connection was going to be the stars of the match but I'm also extremely impressed with Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan's performances as well as Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose's. Both teams made themselves interesting in this match. on the downside of the match were Tamina and Nia Jax. They're both bad in the ring and didn't show much in this match. besides those 2 The match was amazing and I would rewatch this match."

Every team brought something good to the table, yes even Nia and Tamina. The Iiconics were hilarious and perfect characters, Liv and Logan were impressive, Naomi looked great, Rose and Deville really went the distance, and of course Bayley and Sasha are stars. Loved the callback between them to last year, executed really perfectly, and I really got the sense everyone in this match was doing their best not only to impress but to try to actually win, which was very welcome. Top notch, great stuff."

[8.0] "Underrated match right here in what for me is the best women's Elimination Chamber of the three we've seen since the introduction of this concept three years ago now, this to me is something that should be much better rated and recognised for what it is because it was actually brilliant but it's no wonder that WWE's women's division is criminally underrated once again. I'm getting away from the main topic so I'll just mention how this ruled from start to finish, it was a well written and well executed Chamber with lots of creative spots and more than convincing booking. Bayley & Banks and Deville & Rose starting and ending the match was a great idea, it put some prestige on their face-to-face and they all worked hard during those thirty minutes so they deserve credit for that. Nia & Tamina was my big surprise personally, they didn't stay long but everything was booked well with them being sold as the monsters to take down, I liked their elimination with Nia going through the plexiglass and then the other remaining teams teaming up to pin Tamina. The IIconics were cool too although I wish they'd stayed longer, Morgan & Logan had a good showing and came up with some interesting stuff, Naomi & Carmella did well although they deserved much better than staying for four minutes. The finish was excellent with a good callback to the previous women's Chamber with Sasha helping Bayley to jump in the top of the cage without pushing her this time, then that ending with Sasha using her leg during the Bank Statement because she had a shoulder injury was brilliant, it's worth noting that some of the girls worked Banks' arm at times during the match and it was smart. An excellent Chamber that I love rewatch every year, the result was the right call on top of that as Banks & Bayley had worked hard to get these titles to see the light of day and these belts had so much potential at the time."

[8.0] "This was a very solid match, with 5 teams that actually were teams leading up to this match and one throwaway team in Carmella and Naomi. The structure of this match was really well done, with Sasha/Bayley and Mandy/Sonya starting as well as ending the match. The Riott Squad had a good showing, and Nia barreling through the pod will be a memory that sticks with me. Naomi seemed to be under punishment booking around this time as her team only lasted around 2 minutes in the match. The finishing sequence was incredible as well, with Sasha being creative with the crossface on Deville to get the win. Great match that showed just how much potential these tag belts had upon their arrival. [***3/4]"

[8.0] "Considering this match consisted mostly of subpar workers outside of Sasha and Bayley, this match was well structured with everyone playing their role effectively. Other than Nia's abject acting no one looked bad, it was Mandy and Sonya that surprised me with a stellar performance and the right team won. The makeshift team of Naomi and Carmella was a waste of time and could have been substituted for a tag team in NXT."

Bayley & Sasha were great with their overall babyface work, Liv Morgan, Sarah Logan, Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville all surprised me in how good their offense looked throughout, Tamina & Nia were awesome just ragdolling everyone once they came out, and while the IIconics looked rough a few times, overall they were pretty good & their whole shtick was pretty fun. Way better than anyone could have expected given the talent involved."

Everyone hit their moves well, and lots of them were very creative. Don't know what else you all wanted, but this is easily one of the best matches of the year, and will stay that way for the whole year."

[7.0] "The wrestling itself wasn't that great although it was quite good. Wanted IIconics to win and they were my favorite to watch. But Sasha and Bayley winning was a great decision as they worked so hard to achieve this. It was a great moment. For the wrestling I would give only a 6. But the impact and legacy of this match and the moments more than make up for it. All were great and I was especially surprised from Mandy and DeVille who has improved so much. Although I supported IIconics and Riott squad more than Hug N Boss connection. It was really a great moment considering Sasha and Bayley were one of the women that started the women revolution along with Paige, Charlotte and The Man the myth the legend Becky Lynch, ( the single greatest female wrestler along with the Japanese trio of Asuka Sane and Shirai)"

I was expecting an absolute mess, and instead I got 25 minutes of fairly unexciting but inoffensive action followed by a very good closing stretch once it got down to two teams. And the right team won, so that's good."

[7.0] "The "average rating" I'm seeing when I'm writing this seems exactly right -- 6. 81. A smidge below a 3. 5* match: it was pretty good, and had some excellent sequences/spots, but a large portion of the match was pretty damn bad and it offered pretty poor value for how long it was, . Of course, the Iiconics are no good almost all, and when they interact with basically anyone it's not good wrestling. And the others -- Sasha/Bayley aside -- while not as bad, are simply inexperienced or just not great. But the spot where everyone hit a big move was fun, a couple other spots hit (Jax through the pod! ), and the whole finishing sequence was great. (Damn that double-underhook whatever from Mandy Rose! ) The modified Bank Statement from Sasha was a great little piece of storytelling to finish things off -- and created just enough doubt, for me at least, to wonder if maybe the heels would take it. Good, uneven stuff overall."

I expect Alexa Bliss & Mickie James to challenge for the belts at Mania and winning them. Sasha Banks & Bayley deserve a longer title run this time for Sasha."

I liked the story of the first 2 teams going all the way to the end. IIconics played their role well and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't cheering for them. Nia/Tamina played their monster roles well and was eliminated as such. The winners were a very feel-good moment because they truly deserved it. Overall a nice match. (***)"

[9.0] "This might've been the first time I've ever seen an excellent WWE Booking. The first 2 teams, had great exchange and Bayley&Sasha proved they're an amazing team with very good tag team movss right off the bat with Sonya&Mandy showing some fire as well. Carmella & Naomi did their moves and danced , nobody expected them to win anyway(They were like the Jeff Hardy of this match), WWE finally booked heels perfectly with the iconics and Tamina&Nia didn't participate in much in-ring action since they're not that good and instead dominated everyone the match as they should. Amazing in-ring work from everyone else and a great match"

[7.0] "Very good match, some mistakes here and there but every team did something, Nia and Tamina with the power, the Riott Squad bringing the noise, The IIconics with their over the top act and Naomi & Mella with some agility, honorable mention for Sasha & Bayley and the former Absolution duo, surely the best tag teams right now, they were the right ones to end the match even if I expected Jax and Tamina to be the last eliminated. We have seen some pretty cool spods, especially with the Riott Squad involved, and the final part was very good, the match was also less chaotic than i expected despite 12 performers being involved."

But prior to all that it was just sloppy, random offense for like 20 min. The IIconics sequence was particularly cringeworthy. It just wasn't a very good match overall."

It felt really slow, and there were quite a lot of mistaken moves and stuff like that. The last five minutes were very enjoyable though. A satisfactory match but nothing more than that."

All women worked hard, something which cannot be said for the men's chamber match, where Hardy and especially Orton were just coasting. I even liked Tamina and Nia Jax's work in this match, which is saying something because I am usually not their biggest fan. There were some minor miscommunications, but nothing that would stop my enjoyment of the match. Mandy Rose had some nice moments, as did Sonya; Morgan and Logan had the beautiful dive from the chamber pod; the Ilconics really nice attention to detail in their character work. Overall I am just really happy with the hard work put in by all of them. The winners were obvious, but also the right choice, considering this was for a new title that needs a popular team as a headstart. I am looking forward to seeing more of the women's tag team division."
