[8.0] "Stacked lineup. The match had good ideas about spots and eliminations, but it felt a bit of a filler at times, and you can tell that 4 of the participants don't really have a big role to play, which is sad. However, the ending of the match is one of the best they did in an Elimination Chamber match. Kofi vs Bryan felt like the ending stretch of an intense 1v1. It was very good, Kofimania was on anyway. This part with the final 2 was one of the best, (might be the best) but what happened before was fine but kinda irrelevant."

A uniqueness to this chamber match that isn't in many other I'm sure having a hot babyface the crowd is in love with helps that for sure. Unique ways to get some of the eliminations. Amazing showing with Kofi and Bryan at the end one on one and I genuinely think at the end of this the fans mind (me as well at the time) that we wanted and needed KofiMania. (****1/2)"

[9.0] "[4.25*] I still need to watch some legendary EC matches like the 2002 and 2005 ones, but from all the ones I saw, this is legitimately the best. The booking of this whole thing was tremendous, literally perfect and flawless, which is impressive because this is 2019 Vince. All the six participans are legends from the game and gave us an awesome performance, with the best part being the absolutely incredible Final 2 between The New Daniel Bryan and Kofi Kingston. I loved all the nearfalls and specially the Running Knee one was NUTS. The ending was perfect with another heartbreak for Kofi fans, which only helped build steam to the Kofimania storyline. Brillant."

But the match become really great with final two and Kofi is red hot with the crowd has launch him toward the even better match at WM. 9/10."

There were couple of enjoyable moments before the final sequence, like Bryan and Joe just chopping the shit out of each other, and Jeff's Swanton to AJ, but a majority of this first portion of the match was just really forgettable, and the crowd didn't seem too into it either. But as soon as Randy gets eliminated, Kofi and Bryan proceed to have on of the best and most dramatic "final 2" sequences in elimination chamber history. Great nearfalls, amazing heel performance by Bryan and an amazing baby face performance by Kofi, all taking place in front of a crowd that wants nothing more than for Kofi to win, only for Bryan to win with the Running Knee after over 10 minutes of intensely dramatic back and forth action between the 2. Fantastic stuff from Bryan and Kofi, and their work alone saves what was otherwise a pretty mediocre match. ***3/4"

Samoa Joe was in briefly but he looked like a killer while in, Bryan had a great character performance from start to finish AJ Styles was great in this with his usual great bumping and selling here, Jeff was in for a very short time but he did get in one big Swanton so he played his role here really well, and I thought Randy Orton was good here as well. The pop Kofi got after kicking out of the Running Knee was great, him and Bryan just had great chemistry throughout this. The crowd was deflated with Kofi losing this but this was still great.****1/2"

[10.0] "This is arguably the best Chamber match of WWE's modernized period as the story this match had with Kingston entering as a replacement but becoming irreplaceable among the hearts of fans and critics as the most loyal workhorse of the company who was extremely overdue of this chance. Other than that, Bryan as the despicable heel champion was a golden run as well as the other four's performances. The eliminations were swift and happened in such cool spots which created moments and laid the base for stories heading to WrestleMania. The final showdown between Bryan & Kingston was a fantabulous mini-match as 12 to 13 minutes simply flew by with superb ring work and stupendous storytelling. Bryan winning made sense as he outdid all the combatants entering as the first and pulling off a herculean effort which led to one of the most iconic WrestleMania moments happen in the culmination of KofiMania. 5 out of 5 stars and it's well deserved to receive this rating."

[10.0] "Masterful piece of wrestling right here in what is most certainly my favorite Elimination Chamber match in history if you ask me because my expectations were very high considering all the incredible wrestlers in this affair, and yet I still managed to be surprised as I didn't expect anything so perfect. And when I say it was perfect I'm not abusing it as I don't see a single mistake or bad booking decision here, for me everything was top notch whether it was the action, the eliminations, the pace of the match, the order of the entrants and the crowd that was invested from the first to the last second. Maybe you could say that Hardy and Orton's eliminations were kinda rushed but they were actually pretty well done so I'm not going to complain, seeing Kingston eliminate Orton was something huge as it automatically reminded us of their 2009 rivalry where Randy basically buried Kofi on his own accord, as for Hardy he got to have his huge spot (that beautiful Swanton Bomb) so I'm not disappointed for him. The other four were absolutely phenomenal in everything they did, I loved the beginning between Joe & Bryan with them delivering a big slugfest with Joe destroying Bryan's torso with his best chops. Styles was true to form as he never performs poorly, as for Kofi he was obviously the MVP alongside the champion. Because how can we talk about this match without talking about that stellar final between these two ' One of the best written things the WWE has come up with in years, this whole KofiMania was great and what happened here was the highlight leading up to their WrestleMania match. An intense final with suspense, nearfalls, emotion, a resilient Kofi and a merciless Bryan. Everyone played their part perfectly in this match which I consider as a classic, brilliant stuff all around."

[9.0] "Some of the best multi-man matches and elimination matches are the ones that frame a guy that people saw as filler as a contender, and this may just best the best example in WWE's history. It opens fine with Bryan & Joe getting physical, and it proceeds like any other Chamber match, with the fliers coming in and doing stuff from the top. I thought by Chamber standards everything was going great all the way through Jeff's entrance. That said, they had to play around how Jeff can't do AS many big bumps and wasn't the focus of the match, so he gets in and does his shit before getting one HUGE spot in just to get yanked out of the match by Bryan for heat. I thought that was fine, and I really liked the next few minutes up through AJ's elimination since it's a smart way for Randy to sneak in an RKO. Randy's elimination felt pretty rushed though, especially since he barely did anything and was the freshest man, but it was in service of making Trouble in Paradise look powerful, and for giving the people the Final Two they wanted. Kofi was a last-minute alternate for Mustafa Ali, but the idea that he had a CHANCE got this crowd going crazy. This whole accidental push for Kofi proved how good he always was and how much he deserved to have this spot already, but the fact that he hadn't heated the final sequence up SO much. Him and Bryan have an insanely good final stretch, reminding me both of the final sequences of the 2012 & 2014 WHC Chambers, both also involving Bryan, where the crowd is just biting on every single nearfall and counter. Kofi finally gets a chance to look like a star and he delivered beyond imagination; his performance at Mania was even better but he made sure to bring it to Bryan because the Mania match wasn't set in stone. If the middle portion and Randy's elimination were handled better then this could've been a classic chamber, but as a whole it had everything the stip needs and a HOT finishing stretch. ****1/4+"

Jeff wasn't there for long, but he got that one big Swanton moment, which was legitimately a very neat spot. Styles looked like the all-time great that he is with his legendary bumping, selling & offense - that Tower of Doom spot they did w/ him, Kofi & Bryan was awesome, because it wasn't the usual; they did it uniquely with AJ doing the pull-up German. Orton was vicious during his time in the Chamber & that DDP-esq RKO he delivered to AJ was great. Fantastic match, from the very start."

Bryan and Joe had an incredible face off at the beginning, Joe's Chops on Bryan were very impactful. Then Kofi enters and the match is even better. Then you have Styles who has a fabulous technical face off with Joe. Excellent match with a very good booking. ****1/4"

The work they do really sets up beautifully their WrestleMania match, which is also another classic. Each kicks out of the others' finisher as they battle it out all over the Chamber. But in the end Kofi taking a chance and taking a dive off the pod is his undoing as Bryan retains against the odds to force Kofi to go to tortuous ends to get another shot. ****1/2"

Everyone did well, but it was pretty forgettable. As soon as it came down to Kofi Kingston & Daniel Bryan, it went from very good to amazing. No matter who you were, you were rooting for Kofi. Even if you love Bryan more than Kofi, you were rooting for him, you just were. This is a great example of awesome storytelling in wrestling. The best kind of wrestling. Kofi Kingston kicking out of the running knee was something else too. I loved this. ****"

[9.0] "The best elimination chamber I have ever seen. The story of Kofi Kingston being the ultimate underdog was of course the heart of this match and the story was told to perfection. I thought the booking was really smart here. Joe looked like a dominant monster right up until his early elimination. Jeff Hardy does something ridiculous and goes quickly which is perfectly in character for him. Orton, as the biggest name in the match, was smart to have him enter last scores the elimination of AJ only for Kofi to pull the big upset and eliminate the biggest star in the match. The champion Bryan who had to survive from the beginning played the brilliant sneaky heel who tried to avoid conflict and smartly picked his spot to capitalize. At the end it came down to Kofi vs. Bryan. Kofi was on fire here and gave one hell of a babyface performance (in fact I think Kofi here was even better than his WrestleMania performance). Kofi really makes this match. The loss was heartbreaking but of course perfectly sets up his WrestleMania match. ****1/2"

Bryan is so great as a heel and Kofi Who was only a replacement in this match gets so much more than was ever intended. This is the best story of the year so far and it was never meant to happen. The drama and the finish between Bryan and Kofi is what pushes the match over the top but the whole match is perfect before it. Bryan and Joe were great together. Jeff Hardy even had time to shine and put his own touch on the thing. Not a move was wasted to tell this story. It goes to show that the simplest stories are the best ones. Aside from THAT part of the match, the rest was definitely entertaining, but nothing special. Samoa went out there to carve a hole in Daniel Bryan's chest, while AJ, Orton and Jeff all played their part decently. What pushed this match above the 8 for me was that last contest. Though as expected, Kofi never really stood a chance, this version of Daniel Bryan was (and still is) definitely going to Mania with the title, the crazy thing about wrestling is that there is always "what if", and Kofi is not even the craziest "what if" we have seen in recent memory. And so even if I never believed he was gonna win, there was always the "WOULD THEY ? ! " and they didn't but boy did they play the "WOULD THEY ? ! " perfectly. Props to Kofi, he deserves it, even though it makes it bittersweet for me to know this program was meant for my boy Mustafa Ali."

AJ and Orton did what they do and continued to build their WM match, the result was predictable and Kofi replaced Ali very well even if he looked outta place a bit (unlike Ali would have, since he's been pushed strongly for a decent amount of time and pinned Bryan already), but the match was very well worked because the level was very very high, fun match to watch and deserved main event, finally the WWE Title feels important again."

[7.0] "I was hoping this match would be a lot of goofy WWE multi-man spotfest goodness, and it surprisingly wasn't that, which was a bit disappointing. Still, this was a pretty fun match. I really hate Bryan's cowardly heel character. It's never made sense to me how a character suddenly loses all their previous pride and courage upon an ideological change, so Bryan running away from Joe was embarrassing. Luckily Joe carried himself well and looked like a monster. That made it all the more worse when Joe was the first eliminated. AJ, Kofi, Jeff, and Orton all got some decent spots and sequences when they came in. I was disappointed with how easily AJ, Jeff, and Orton were eliminated, but at least they were all eliminated after some pretty cool spots. The match picked up when it came down to Bryan vs Kofi 1-on-1. Before then it was a pretty tame spotfest, but the atmosphere immediately changed when it was clear Kofi had a chance of winning. It's sad to say that although Kofi has great movement and performs big spots very well, his general offence is a bit poor at times. He often whiffs moves or performs them with overly sloppy technique, which really detracted from the supposed hype behind all his hope spots (which I still thought were fun, at least). The entirety of the Bryan vs Kofi segment was pretty fun because Kofi got a ridiculous number of near falls and hope spots, and it was appropriately deflating to see Bryan eventually get the win, though there was the silver lining of hope that Kofi had proved himself against the champ and may still yet claim the title. ***1/4"

Bryan v Joe and later Kofi (as much for the emotional impact of the closing stretch as the work itself) being the standouts. Various spots involved the competitors using the environment effectively and they all came off for the most part. Something this match did really well was have logical, well executed eliminations throughout. In some editions of chamber matches individuals are hardly worth their spots, booked as afterthoughts and eliminated with disregard but that definitely wasn't the case here. This was close to being as good as the great WWE title chamber match from 2017."

The crowd was red hot the whole match for Kingston despite crowd favourites AJ Styles and Samoa Joe being in the match as well (and showing really great effort themselves). Kofi brings in the children because of the New Day, but he also appeals to the older fans and smart fans due to his work rate and overall likeability. He is the perfect babyface opponent for Daniel Bryan at this point in time and the final few minutes proved that. I don't really believe in the possibility, but putting Kingston vs. Bryan at WrestleMania could be a sleeper for best and most emotional match of the night. Other than those two, as already noted, Styles and Joe were great, even if only role players in this match. Hardy had a short, but sweet cameo (even if it looked like he hurt Bryan and Styles unintentionally). Orton was just in there to advance his starting feud with Styles. Considering these two had a really good match two years ago, maybe Styles can be the opponent to finally draw a good match and some sort of enthusiasm out of Orton again. Otherwise he was just " there" , which considering his resume is a little bit of a bummer. Highly recommended!"

However, the highlight of this match was Kofi Kingston but specifically the final 10 minutes with Kofi and Daniel. I truly haven't felt that way about a match in years. The genuine emotion and feeling of wanting the underdog good guy to beat the bad guy. Ironically, I think the last time I was this invested was the Daniel Bryan Yes movement. The fact that Kofi had only been an announced participant for less than a week is a testament to how truly appreciated and over he is with the fans. This final stretch with Kofi and Daniel reminded me why I love wrestling. I hope they stretch this out and do Daniel vs Kofi 1 on 1 with Kofi winning the WWE title at WrestleMania. Samoa Joe, a monster heel, was eliminated in hillariously pathetic fashion for this "extreme" match and a lot of the spots equated down to people just getting their 4 big moves in, Hardy especially just came in, did some moves, one big spot and then left. As for the eliminations in general, they really didn't come across as anything that couldn't have happened in a regular match so the point of the chamber was essentially null. People are mistaking the quality of the match with how much they care for Kingston since his great performance on SD. Bryan? s performance the entire match was masterful - except for his selling though, he really didn? t do a great job at that. Lol at him no selling Trouble in Paradise. But other than that, all good. Him evading Joe by running around the ring, climbing the cage. Even being so arrogant as to sit on top of the pod. Joe laying in the shots early in the match was awesome. Shame he didn? t last long but he ruled when he was in the ring. AJ was good too and Orton had his moments.
