[6.0] "Pretty sick match, even if it ends up being one-sided; the beating has lots of grit and scrap courtesy of Diamante. After a few competitive minutes, the match settles, with Red Velvet being at the receiving end of Diamante's punishment, showing some of her rag doll physics as she gets tossed around. It was an aggressive showing by Diamante in a manner where her work was more heel-adjacent and it left me a bit puzzled, as the crowd seemed to side more with her compared to Red Velvet, who was working in peril, having her moments of threatening to turn the tide, and had the more flashy offense that I thought would get them on board to cheer her on, but nonetheless, this was nice. ***1/4"
[7.0] "While I remain unconvinced, this served as decent evidence that in its current state, Ring of Honor is of use to its "full-time" talent. Both Diamante and Velvet show obvious improvement here, displaying some emerging range throughout a strong TV match. Velvet leads with classical babyface offence, ultimately settling into an extended sell as Diamante takes the entire second half. Perhaps most notably, the challenger navigates that with ease, filling the room with a roughness and toughness befitting her demeanour. Very encouraging piece of business, good match! ***1/4"
[6.0] "Some nice chain wrestling at the start of this match. Both these women have future potential and I quite liked the DQ finish at the end - was built nicely."
[6.0] "Curious to watch more of Diamante she was really good at this. Red Velvet was getting thrown all over the place by Diamante and she did an impressive job of selling it. Sadly the match ended by DQ."
[5.0] "A decent match brought down by a weak ending. Diamanté has been an underrated women on AEWs roster for years now often delivering when given the platform so it has been nice to see her get more chances to show that. She looked foolish by getting herself DQed costing herself the title for no reason. 4.5-5"
