Atsushi Kotoge & Go Shiozaki vs. Jun Akiyama & Yuji Nagata

[7.0] "A bit of a slow build, but I definitely enjoyed the ending quite a bit. Nagata & Akiyama were fun even in their older age, though I was very confused as to why Shiozaki was the one who took the pinfall when the much smaller (both physically and in terms of his status in NOAH) Kotoge was right there."

[7.0] "A good main-event highlighted by Shiozaki, Nagata and Akiyama absolutely delivering at their age. Of course this wasn't fluid as it would have been 10 years ago but in terms of atmosphere they did hella a work. Kotoge was a bit out of place. ***1/2"

"This was one of the best matches Ive seen all year. There was just so much right and so little wrong about this match. You got 3 absolute legends in Puro plus Kotoge in there for fun, and my word, they just nail the formula down on what a modern wrestling classic should strive to be. Hard hitting, no fs given, just pure pro wrestling. I loved when Kotoge just popped Nagata with that shot headbutt and just stood there like man is an absolute stud. Also loved his work with Akiyama in this match. It just worked so well for what this was. This is my MOTY [*****]."

[7.0] "Very solid main event. The old guard did a great job proving they can still go when given the chance and it was cool seeing Shiozaki and Akiyama wrestle in a NJ ring."

[7.0] "A treat to see both Go Shiozaki and Jun Akiyama in a New Japan ring. I really wasn't expecting Shiozaki to take the pin. The idea of Yuji Nagata challenging for the ZERO1 World Heavyweight Championship is an interesting one."

[6.0] "Decent nostalgia, with the sequences between Shiozaki and Nagata measuring up. Another reminder that not all NJPW dads need to be downcycled as quickly as Nagata was."

[7.0] "Very good match involving legends of the ring who can all still go. I'm a big advocate of putting them in matches together and checking off as many dream matches as possible whilst they still have a chance of being good. ***1/2"
