[5.0] "[**3/4] This picked up at the end with dome nice spots but it had to overcome a lot beforehand. First, 3 ways are nearly always worse than a straight match, especially with tag teams. Second, ladder matches are passe now because they happen so much they are no longer memorable unless they are special - and this was not special. Lastly, there was a lot of botches, clumsiness and missed spots in this match. The crowd didn't seem to care but Tanga Loa in particular can do very little right and looked frightened to death climbing to the top of the ladder."

[8.0] "Absolutely fantastic ladder match, every team brought something great to the table even those dastardly Tongans. MVPs of the match however are The Street Profits who once again show that if you need a banger just put these guys in the ring with a ladder. Got some flashbacks to when they won the NXT tag team championships back in 2019. Montez Ford is one of the most athletically gifted workers in the business today and Angelo Dawkins was putting his body on the line from the first bell. Despite not being a fan on this new Bloodline, it made sense for them to retain and the climax of the match was perfection. Wish the editing of this match was less sloppy but overall this is an example of The Fed still having the juice"

[7.0] "A match that went from less to more, building momentum and increasing the complexity and greatness of the spots little by little. Street Profits and DIY made the match entertaining, the GOD made it violent and gritty, proper of each ones characters. My only two concerns about the match are 1, like always in WWE, these matches that look so good on paper always end up being a bit watered down when, in any other company, this would've been a crazy spectacle; and 2, the GOD getting up relatively fast after being put through tables. They made those spots look like nothing. It would've been better to have a longer battle between DIY and the Profits, both teams struggling to beat each other in the race for the titles, allowing the tongans to take them out like they did. Pretty good match for TV standards, and something that the Tag division really needed after how poorly it has been treated for years (*** 3/4)"

[7.0] "This match being a Smackdown main event made it feel a little more special, but at the same time, it also felt less important with it not being on a PPV. Either way, this was a fun match, though I'd have preferred it to be on the Bad Blood card instead."

[8.0] "Amazing ladder match loaded with great spots, it terms of destruction it was in the WWE average but fot this kind of match the average was high. Street Profits and DIY teamming made perfectly sense and the finish was quite well executed. Best spot was the Knee strike/superkick combi with a ladder. ****1/4"
JoeyBingBong wrote on 10.10.2024:
[8.0] "Very strong TV main event, with sharp agenting meeting spirited execution. G.O.D. benefit most from the former, almost being framed as a line of defence between the babyface teams and more specifically, their dynamic exchanges. As a result, the match had some shape beyond the impressive stunts, working in a virtual shine, heat and comeback along the way. When DIY and The Profits do clash, the thrills follow but Tama and Tanga chip in some there also, giving this a punch worthy of the runtime. ***3/4"

[8.0] "[****1/4] A really freakin good main event. Really creative spots, Tama Tonga being over with the crows, Ford bouncing across the ring like a maniac, Loa taking the belts. Everything work. The Meet in the Middle spot to a ladder around Tonga Loa's head was one of the most insanely creative spots I've seen on weekly WWE TV."
TomTakagi wrote on 09.10.2024:
[8.0] "This dragged a little to begin with, but got really, really good towards the end. The closing stretch with the table, announce table, then ladder spots was phenomenal stuff from all 6 guys. Great to see the Tongans get a win without needing any outside assistance, proving they are good enough by themselves to stand atop the tag division. Adds more legitimacy to them."

[8.0] "I want to put this at a 7.5, but hey, Ill round up because I do love all 3 of these teams. I do wish these would get featured more on the PLEs, its really taken a step up recently. Solid spots from all the teams, particularly loved the Meeting in the Middle with Loa trapped in a ladder, even if it wasnt *perfectly* executed. DIY needs to have the belts back on them sometime soon, they always deliver. Profits stood out in particular here, had some fun spots. G.O.D (the Bloodline, my brain refuses to fully accept the change) played good heels for what was needed. Loa getting the belts seems like a move to get some credibility back for him, but hey, cant blame them for it. Tama is over, and all because of him being a complete rabid animal. AND I FREAKING LOVE IT. Push that man to the moon. Great match, hope we see some amazing continued tag team action on SD, especially with MCMG coming in"

[8.0] "Really good smackdown match.Probably deserved to be on the Bad Blood card but whatever.Really wanted new champs especially the Street Profits but this is the only thing that the new Bloodline has going for it in the championship factor right now. Some of the spots in this match were amazing like I said, definitely ple worthy.I also liked the ending more than most Bloodline matches because they didn't need a helping hand from their crewmates. So all in all, very good match to end the Bad blood go home show and probably better than 3 of the actual Bad blood matches atleast."

[8.0] "Great main event to a really good Smackdown. Always love a Ladder match on tv, but Tag Ladder matches hit different. Montez Ford is special man, how the hell he does these things is madness. Dawkins is great as a big dude doing big moves, DIY can do it all and then the Tongans are a tight unit with a lot of experience. Really fun match, lots of carnage and destruction, all 3 teams will be feeling it tomrrow"

[7.0] "What I hate: It was a gimmick match. It was for the Titles. 3 Team were fighting for the titles, hence diminishing the actual reign and decreasing the prestige of those tag titles. Btw, what's the difference between a Ladder Match and a TLC match, if you can still use chairs and tables, legally? Besides that, I am no blind. It was entertaining, especially for a TV match. But it did not have any structure nor build-up or any technical wrestling involved. It was just high risk spot after high risk spot. Don't get me wrong, again, it was entertaining and Montez Ford is an absolute maniac regarding high risk moves, even more than Kofi in his good old days. But I'd rather watch a technical real wrestling match than a gimmick match that puts everyone involved in unnecessary life-threatening places and executions. At least the Bloodline did defend their title reign. PS. The Shattermachine from the ladder was clean and sick."

Career-defining win for G.O.D. so far in WWE - they endured a lot of punishment to retain the titles in a chaotic environment with game competition."

[7.0] "[3.5*] Very good match, the MOTN of a very good show. I think this was a homage to that Dudleys vs Hardys vs Edge & Christian series (a trilogy that I watched fully and I highly recommend) and although it obviously did not have the same amount of craziness, it was mad fun nonetheless. I actually popped for Big Loa being the winner there, they clearly made this decision as a joke and I loved it. There were some small miscommunications here and there like on that Blockbuster from Tez, but overall it was a great car-crash and proper TV Main Event."

[8.0] "Very good ladder match for the tag team titles. DIY and the Street Profits worked together early on against the Bloodline, though as these things so that didn't last long. This was a balanced, competitive match where each team got their time to shine and it felt like anybody could win. The last few minutes were a step up with all the crazy bumps. It built to Tonga Loa climbing up to grab the belts as the Bloodline retains. 8/10"

Commercials did hurt it a bit but they did really well with the time they got when they werent in commercial. Predictable winner but the match was good to where it doesnt matter really. 4/5"

This is probably a match that in the previous regime would have been on Bad Blood, but under the current format becomes the SmackDown main event, and I think this was better placed here. This would have been lost in the shuffle on the PLE."

"Damn, what an insane TV match we got here. I didn't watch it live so the ads were cut out which probably would've dropped my rating a bit if I hadn't, but the match was very good with a great amount of high spots. Particularly liked the Dawkins' tope and the Meeting in the Middle with the ladder. Also liked the fact that the numbers game turned on the Bloodline in this instance and they even replicated the triple powerbomb spot on Tama Tonga. However, didn't really like how the Bloodline got up very fast from all the finishers being done on them so that was a bit immersive breaking, great finish however. Tanga Loa standing on the tippy top at the end was fucking hilarious. The Profits were the clear MVPs for me in this one and hope the win the tag gold soon. [8.4/10]"

"Very disappointing. This match was ruined by the commericals. The picture-in-picture just showed how boring matches like this are during commercials because they don't want to waste any spots. And most of said spots where either executed badly or made no sense (why jump over a ladder and make the situation more difficult for you than it needs to be? ) Some moments were solid and it was not awful. But that no selling finish by The Bloodline was really a slap in the face. 5/10"

I was really pleased to see this match be announced and given the main event spot. That said, it even surpassed my expectations. Big multi man ladder matches are so common these days it is very hard for them to stand out. But this one was very well done, all climaxing with an excellent final few minutes. Bloodline looked strong. I think DIY and the Profits got some shine too. A home run on Smackdown."

From Montez Ford hitting a crazy blockbuster, to Montez Ford hitting a beautiful Frog Splash, Power - bombing Tama Tonga, and the crazy ending sequence which had The Bloodline reign supreme. This SmackDown Tag Division is heating up and with the soon arrival of one of the greatest tag teams ever in Motor City Gun Machine I'm very excited to see how this divison contiune to look because it has been booked very strong as of the past months. I'm very happy about it. Amazing ladder match and potential WWE Match of the Year candidate in my eyes."
