This is still a good match though. Ciampa plays heel really well like he always does and continues to pull off some fantastic counters and moves. I really liked how he got in the referees face for some reason. Aleister was an absolute beast here. He looked incredibly strong in defeat eating multiple Fairy Tale Endings. He also did a very good job selling the knee. I must also give some bonus points to the kick on the outside that made Ciampa spit out water, that visual was sick as hell. Just a little long, and maybe a bit slow at times but still good. |

The highlight of the match was obviously Black's left leg which Ciampa worked to perfection, I'm a bit disappointed that it wasn't an element in the finish as the whole match was based on it but Ciampa's work mixed with Black's perfect selling was just top notch. Black never stopped selling his leg until the last second and I loved the moment he delivered his Black Mass, all for Ciampa to dodge the pin by flipping onto his stomach, this was a brilliant move from the champ to protect the challenger's finish without having to kickout of it. The fact that Black made the whole match with a busted ball is also worth noting, respect to him for that as it's the truth. Completely different to any TakeOver main events we used to see at the time but a damn good one. |
