[9.0] "Fantastic showing from Miu (as always tbh, every time i see her she makes me want to see more) It was my first experience with Mizunami and she seems like a good wrestler but i feel she needs to add some new moves to her arsenal cause i felt she was repetitive with her offense but besides that i really liked her here. It was kinda test of strength for Watanabe as Ryo was also a powerhouse but she definitely passed, when she was doing those Giant Swings i was stunned. The ending was cool but i feel like Mizunami shouldn't have kicked out from 4 Tear Drops - it seems like too many, i get she was undefeated in TJPW for 2 years but 4 was just unnecessary. Overall it was great match that i really enjoyed especially if you're Miu's fan. ****, 25"

[8.0] "This was tremendous. Miu has to work extremely hard to get the win and Mizunami does a great job of taking her offense with just the right amount of selling to indicate that Miu is slowly but surely tearing her down. Miu is having a very very good year. *** 3/4"

At core, this is about Watanabe's status as champion, showing her progression since their 2022 meeting. That's portrayed gradually, with Watanabe climbing uphill to overcome the unfavourable stylistic matchup. As a result, it's an incredibly flattering presentation for Mizunami who's worth that and more, operating like a total monster here. Strong match, comfortably managing the runtime with engaging action that admittedly, never quite explodes for me. ***3/4"

[10.0] "The new ace of TJPW, Pink Power Princess Miu Watanabe, facing the party tank of a human being that is Ryo Mizunami. If that sounds kind of awesome then you have successfully gauged how this match went! Yeah, this ruled big time. Miu is usually able to overpower any opponent in TJPW with her deceptive strength, but Ryo is a step beyond and Miu quickly found herself on the backfoot, getting a severe beat down. Only by pure toughness was she able to hang on, in time firing enough heavy bullets that she was able to break down Ryo's considerable defenses. Seeing Ryo power through Miu's finisher twice was really something, it could have been overkill but it really worked, and Miu laying in that hammer shot right to the base of Ryo's skull was a hell of a thing. Miu goes on a top champion in TJPW and I'm loving her reign so far, this is her best match since winning the title from Yamashita."

Kicking out of multiple finishers isn't the only way to show strength, and TJPW was always an exception for those who wanted to escape that modern wrestling trope. This isn't what made me fell in love with the promotion in the first place, it feels so out of place in TJPW. Not for me."

Two hosses throwing bombs and throwing/swinging each other around for over 15 minutes, before really digging deep and testing each others mettle the rest of the way. The ending was really well done and perfectly delivered. Not quite a 9 or 10 for me, but still a great way to end the show."

[9.0] "Loved this match, absolute banger and might be Miu's best match as champion. Aniki is a powerhouse and someone that can match and even overpower Miu's strength. They hit each other hard, kicked out of big moves and finishers, Miu hit the swing on Aniki which looked awesome. They chopped the hell out of each other too, the closing sequence was really good and there was a chance Aniki might win for a moment. The story being Miu has never beaten Aniki in TJPW, but finally overcome her adversary. I did hope Yuki Aino would win the tournament, but maybe down the line she'll challenge Miu. Because I hope it's a new name that eventually beats her and not one of the pillars. (Probably be Yuki Arai)"

[9.0] "As opposed to their previous single's bout where Aniki had a clear advantage strength-wise, from the lock-up, even with Miu failing in the test of strength and the shoulder tackles in the opening stretch here, the message was clear in their execution that Miu was closer to being on equal footing this time around with the power balance scale slightly tipping on Aniki's side letting us know that while Miu would be more imposing this time, she would still have to chip away at Aniki and simultaneously Aniki was going to have a lot more to fend off. Helluva match that built great towards its conclusion while having callbacks where they expanded on them like Miu struggling to deliver her Big Swing except this time she got it on her first attempt, last time she was unable to lift Aniki for the Canadian Back Breaker without the assistance of the turnbuckle, but this time she failed to successfully lock it in on first attempt (might've been a botch) and the second she added a slam to it and more neat callbacks like those. What a run Miu Watanabe is on. This match is fantastic. ****1/2"

[7.0] "This told a simple story well. New TJPW ace Miu Watanabe has been growing into a powerhouse style wrestler but can she overcome the bigger Ryo Mizunami? Both played their role to good effect but it needed a little more jeopardy and Ryo viciousness to build that emotional bridge. ***1/2"

[7.0] "I don't know if I'd call this a good match, but I was a big fan of Miu's performance in this one. Great selling early on to cement her as the babyface, and while Mizunami does things I'll never like no matter the context, I thought she was solid enough in the role of someone Miu had to overcome. The match did go a little long, too, but oh well. Generous 3.5 from me."

[8.0] "Absolutely brutal main event and one to remember, the in ring story telling was incredible as it set Miu as the underdog trying to overcome the power and experience of Ryo. In all fairness this would probably had been a 9 or 10 from me, but the no sells towards the end of the match was a bit off putting."

[10.0] "A perfect utilization of both Watanabe and Mizunami, and another confirmation that Miu Watanabe is THE star for TJPW for the present and future. I especially loved the closing minutes of the match, with Mizunami willing herself to continue, but still being unable to overcome the strength and spirit of the champion Watanabe. Aniki has been a force of nature in all her TJPW singles appearances, but the company had wisely limited her to special singles matches (including a win over Watanabe at 2022's Summer Sun Princess) and far away from the title picture. The strength of that past booking, plus the unforgiving physical presence she brings to every match, made her a credible and dangerous threat to Miu's title reign. But as she has done so often in her rise to the top of TJPW, Miu pushed herself to be better than the wrestler she was coming into the match. How does anyone out-physical an opponent that had so consistently physically overwhelmed her own competition? By being Miu Watanabe."

[9.0] "wrestling is held up by basic archetyps that no mather how many times they are done they work, this match being a great example, the baybeface that runs the place (Miu Watanabe) battles aggainst an outsider, undefeated, bigger Mizunami with the added Bonus of the challengers first match in the promotion being against Watanabe herself two years ago. Miu Watanabe is one of those special wrestlers that manage to give everything a different level of energy, of expression of emotion and this type of matches are were this wrestlers are at their best (8.7)"

Baseball chops to the back of the back of the head were just the beginning of an ending sequence that showed how much Miu had to dig deep. She's one a fantastic run as champion with back to back great matches."
