[7.0] "It was an exciting match with a big conclusion. The plot of the finish was that Love Machine was disqualified for using the tombstone piledriver because he didn't know it was a banned move in Mexico. This classic match resulted in Love Machine being unmasked as Art Barr, which would eventually turn out to be a new beginning during his legendary run in Mexico. The feud was far from over, and Barr would become an even bigger star in the months and years following this match."

[7.0] "Exciting action and an unusual way to have a lucha de apuestas, I won't spoil how it goes but I went into this blind and it got me really invested in the story. I thought it was just a little short to give it a higher rating. ***3/4"

[7.0] "Not one of my best lucha libre matches but it remains a classic worth watching. Mascara vs mascara matches are often fantastic."

[9.0] "I'm not giving this a 10 just because of its lenght, but I considered doing so because it's one of my favorite matches of all time under 10 minutes lenght. One of Blue Panther's most iconic rivalries and one of the best matches available from Love Machine (RIP). These two characters hated each other and delivered a very stiff, fast paced match, telling a great short story for the time they were given. It's important to point out how, around this times, Piledrivers were forbidden (from a kayfabe perspective) in mexican lucha libre promotions, just like how low blows are usually forbidden too. Considering that fact, and Love Machine's language barrier, they perfectly crafted a smart finish with those storytelling elements and I couldn't praise it enough. Excellent stuff. Personal rating: ****3/4."
