Her and Toni were easily the most watched segments on TV, YouTube etc. But Mariah's booking after winning the title has been nothing short of embarrassing. She is delaying her celebration for Mina's arrival. That's ok. But her opponents have been chosen at random. Aminata is not even on the main roster. I don't give a shit about ROH talents on main show. Deeb has been always bland. Yuka is just another joshi whom I have no idea about since I don't watch TJPW. She is ok in the ring I guess but her gimmick is fucking annoying. I hate that anime school girl voice kinda stuff. Very creepy and weird. The match was boring. Mariah was the only good thing about this. She is really good heel. Wish she got better storylines. Why isn't Hayter going for the world title instead of feuding with Saraya ffs? Aminata has been getting lot of praises but she was slow here. Deeb did her 'folding down opponents into a ball and sitting on top of them' move. But it was during a commercial and looked like crowd didn't care much for it. Anyway Yuka pins Deeb but Mariah beats her up and causes a DQ for the heat. |

Mariah May, meanwhile, is star-personified both in and out of the ring. She's one of the best strikers in AEW and is able to adapt her style to any competitor she encounters. Can't wait for May vs. Sakazaki at Grand Slam. 3 stars, 6 out of 10. |

I don't hate the DQ ending but it did feel a little unnecessary, especially since they're supposed to be building up Yuka as a challenger. Could quite easily have had Yuka pin Serena and then do the belt shot afterwards. Still, an enjoyable match and a good spotlight for some of the less utilised members of the roster. |
