KENTA vs. Mistico

[6.0] "Similarly to Kenta's match earlier in the night I was expecting a lot more from both men. Felt really clumsy for the most part but thankfully Mistico was able to keep the crowd invested with his great in ring work and crowd work that Kenta was able to utilize to get himself some heel heat. Wish there was more intensity but it doesnt seem like wrestlers are bringing their A-game to MLW for whatever reason"

[7.0] "A solid end to the tournament and easily the MOTN. There was never any danger of Mistico losing here but he and KENTA still kept the match compelling with their strong work."

[8.0] "This was a good main event for MLW Fightland. KENTA vs Místico is a dream match for some. But they faced off yesterday. It looked like they either went off script or they forgot what they were gonna do because it looked a little weird at the start. But they got there stuff together and put on a good match. Props to both KENTA & Místico."

[7.0] "Really cool match that it happened. This match was really good, there was some clumsy parts but overall a really enjoyable match."

[5.0] "Felt like they forgot what they were doing in the first few minutes and just seemed genuinely directionless. Can't be too surprised the match wasn't that great seeing as Mistico was probably just worn out from main eventing in Arena Mexico then immediately flying to the US and wrestling 2 matches in one night."

[7.0] "Maybe this felt even a bit better than it actually was in contrast to Mistico's other main event this weekend that was a lot more disappointing. This was one of the better modern Kenta performances. Not a classic or anything but a fun main event. ***1/2"

[7.0] "A dream match in two of the biggest names of the 2000s and 2010s facing off. Going into it I expected Mistico to win but with it taking some shenanigans to have it happen to protect KENTA, which it did with KENTA cheating where he could to gain the advantage. An overall enjoyable match and good effort from both to cap off the Opera Cup. 6.5-7"

[6.0] "I will give MLW this, KENTA vs Mistico in 2024 is a sicko match and I was all for it. I felt KENTA gave a little more effort than you might see from him currently here."
