705.05.2025SodaRebs8.0Messy and hard-hitting bullrope match, where both men are completely in their element. Connelly is exactly what his name suggests in this one, relentlessly chasing Manders and getting up from the various cowbell attacks. There is never a wasted moment here and it feels absolutely like a fight. The attacks to the feet were honestly awesome, playing in nicely to the tree of woe spot too. The chops cannot go unmentioned here too, holy cow. I also loved the natural build to the seated strike exchange, with both men fighting to bite off toes. In the end, the lariats from Manders are wicked and what a beast Connelly is to be on his feet after them. But then that rope-assisted choke was perfect, locked on so tightly and rightfully writing off the Mad Dog.
821.04.2025Aliiadwana7.0I agree with the comments it's kinda disappointing match and true the crowd didn't care that much so do I, it's just hard to get into it fully, it's still good. ***1/2
907.02.2025danzitorock7.0Good match, it's very difficult to keep the action and the story interesting after their brilliantly crafted first three matches, so this feels obviously like a downgrade, but it's great, they used the bull rope incredibly well, I loved the strikes with the metal, looked extremely violent and vicious like their matches always are, the submission was nice, and my God, those chops were awesome, super loud and brutal. The ending of the match was by far the weakest of their rivalry, with a kickout at 1 and some blows that didn't connected so well, but that's alright, it's very difficult to keep the greatness linear like I've said. After Manders won the match, they had a little post-match angle where they made it clear that the rivalry will go international, great moment - {***1/4}
1003.10.2024boymeetsworld7.0This match tried to create total chaos and few particular spots were fucking nuts to say the least, but for whatever reason the crowd didn't really got into it, which is disappointing because I'm sure that's always the goal. Post-match promo was interesting, because I'm sure there's plenty of potential to make this a 'touring' match and do different ideas in front of different crowds.
1116.09.2024Ariak8.0Good but somewhat disappointing to their great dog collar match from before. The drop kick into the chairs from Connelly was nuts. I feel like maybe if this had happened before the dog collar match my opinion of it might be better because this almost felt like a de-escalation in the feud.
1213.09.2024benny5bellys6.0Not a patch on previous efforts these two have had although there is obvious good work here. A major issue I had here was commentary. I am trying to think of a kind way to say it as indie commentary teams are doing it for a love of the sport rather than making millions but their over exaggeration do not help the wrestlers in the ring ie don't say a guy will need a nose job when he gets up and there isn't even a scratch there. I am also told by people who go that SLA has a good atmosphere so it must be a case of poor audio mixing as the fans sounds like they are all just having a nice chat as they watch some wrestling in the back ground
