Maria vs. Mio Momono vs. Riko Kawahata

[7.0] "I went 36 minutes overall and I never got bored, this was interesting all along and everyone performed extremely well. Every part mattered during this match and more the time advanced, more it was a struggle and the selling from everyone (especially from Momono and Kawahata) told a simple but interesting throughout the match and at the end of the day, the win seemed earned thanks to the booking and the intensity of the match - ***3/4"

[6.0] "This match used an unusual ruleset: there were only two wrestlers in the ring at the time, so one wrestler had to win two matches in a row to become the #1 contender. Momono beat Kawahata but lost to Maria, who lost to Kawahata, so match #4 was Momono vs. Kawahata again. Excessive selling annoyed me a lot, and imo it didn't play into the story here at all - none of the first three matches went longer than 10 minutes, so I didn't buy into the idea that both wrestlers were pushing their limits at the end. Momono was clearly the best of the three and her performance is the reason to watch this match, though tbh I expected more from this one."
