[5.0] "2006 was a pretty poor year, but ended with a REALLY strong Armageddon. After closing on a high note, you'd hope 2007 would open just as strongly, but that wasn't the case. Not that this is a bad show, but it is very middling. The main event is the best match on the card by far, with the cage match being a distant second. Everything else on the card just exists. They are boring, but passable and unoffensive matches. Even the grossly overrated tag match with DX and Rated RKO did very little to add to the event. A decent show, but there is little here worth coming back for."

[6.0] "A mixbag overall, but the big matches delivered, plus nothing was awful really. Hardy vs Nitro was a fine Cage match, although nothing new for that stipulation, DX vs Rated-RKO was very good, but the most impressive thing was the audible that they called after Triple H got injured and the main event showed what a fantastic gimmick Umaga was and how perfectly it fit Fatu, who kept things going and made Cena's underdog work look believable. Everything other was just a filler, but at least nothing was too long and it kept some quality. Tag Team Turmoil was alright, Kenny vs Flair wasn't anything special, Mickie vs Victoria was fine, but I wish they were given more time and Masters vs Carlito suffered from the dead crowd. So a nice start to 2007, especially in the main event department."

[8.0] "Better event than people say, the tag match was great and the main event was very good. Enjoyable show all round"

[5.0] "Alright show, if I say so myself. The main event and the tag team title match are really good matches. Both well worth recommending. The rest is a bunch of mediocre wrestling that isn? t worth watching. Carlito vs Chris Masters is garbage. For a Raw B-PPV, this is okay, not bad. Best To Worst: John Cena vs. Umaga - [****]. Rated-RKO vs. D-Generation X - [***1/2]. Mickie James vs. Victoria - [**3/4] Jeff Hardy vs Johnny Nitro - [**1/2]. Kenny Dykstra vs. Ric Flair - [**1/4]. Carlito vs. Chris Masters - [DUD]. Tag Team Turmoil Match - [NR]."

[6.0] "It's an acceptable event before the Royal Rumble to start the year. The main event, John Cena vs Umaga is solid enough to close it with a decent bout. Jeff Hardy vs Johnny Nitro and Rated RKO vs D-X are the best two matches of the event, while the tag team turmoil is a waste of time and talent, it never got interesting. Carlito vs Masters did not deliver at all, Kenny vs Flair was a long match on the two stars rating."
