[5.0] "Volunteer Slam talk throughout with some squashes as well as a Heavenly Bodies match. It wasn't all bad, so I can't complain too much. It did what it set out to do. Hype its upcoming event..."

[5.0] "As the build-up for Volunteer Slam continues, Smoky Mountain Wrestling presents a solid edition of TV, with a couple of basic matches and a good main event, giving exposure to their main wrestler. Not a lot to say from an interview standpoint, as the promos delivered were serviceable."

[6.0] "Apart from the main event the matches are basic. The tag team semi final is a good sign off. Dutch Mantel is on form and Ron White has a class promo, with Dirty White Boy off beating the crap out of Grannies and kids. Love it. 6*"

[7.0] "Another good show building up for the Volunteer Slam. The world title tournament looks good in card and we see some matches to build it up, like the Brian Lee or Jimmy Golden ones, and promo work. Bob Holly has another squash in which he looks good. The best part of the show was the main event, continuing the tag team titles tournament. The Heavenly Bodies are a great heel team with nice work and character development. Cornette is great. Also, I could listen to Ron Wrught cutting a promo for all my life, he is really great."

[7.0] "Holly vs. Batten: Usual Bob Holly squash but he made it watchable at least. (*¾) / Golden vs. Davey: Surprisingly longer than usual with a not very good looking finish. (**½) / Cazana vs. Lee: Great sqush for Brian Lee as he looks better than usual heading into the Volunteer Slam tournament. (*¼) / Kyle vs. Reggins: I'm just not so into Kyle. He came off as one of those "generic big dude" to me. The Reggins come back was fun but short. This was a pointless squash use as a nothing more than a filler. (¾*) / Davis & Maggs vs. Heavenly Bodies: Love the work on the neck of Maggs by The Bodies. They're currently my favorite team in SMW. Second best SMW match ever and easily the best thing on this show. Although I do think the finish was very flat, the heel work was just heavenly (no pun intended). (***) / Overall: A good show. Altho not on the level of ep. 8, 9 and 11 yet, the setup for the next episode was very well done. Next week: The Fantastics vs. The Maulers in the semi-finals!"
