[5.0] "The dark match was awkward and sloppy, but not uninteresting, with an early look at the Flying Francis pairing. The C4 Tag Team Championship Match was quite a bit chaotic and lacking in direction, but what it lacked in spectacular it made in simple energy to give the crowd an honest warm-up, while giving the champions something new to chew on. Giovanni/Toxic was also fairly bland and mundane, but in the last few minutes, Travis Toxic unleashed a slew of cool moves, while also showing a bit of charisma, the first glimpse of his potential in C4. Vega/Cheech was solid wrestling, but felt like there were too many false finishing sequences, with diminishing returns and the finish itself fell flat as a result. Buxx/Pinkie/Sanchez was an extremely quirky match, with all guys pushing their schtick to the maximum, which means it quickly stopped making sense, but it remains an original and entertaining experiment. The Trios Elimination Match was plodding and awkward, as the Twiggy/Kraven feud as reached saturation and can hopefully be blown-off for good next month. Amasis/Scotty was again short, rushed and underdeveloped, as C4 is treating Amasis like a simple enhancement talent and criminally underusing his talents. SSB/Afterparty decent, with SSB guiding their inept opponents into a simple enjoyable match and throwing very cool offense at the end, but the finish plain sucked and feels completely unbelievable. Alexander/Scotty was a wild brawl, with the impromptu nature and the crowd's infatuation for Scotty O'Shea giving it a very special atmosphere. This is the first show in a while that feels underwhelming, as it had a mediocre undercard and a disappointing uppercard. Still, a few guys brought goods and most importantly the main event delivered splendidly, with an emotional conclusion and the apex of a nice build-up towards the main event of the season finale, so you can certainly call this show worthwhile, even if the uneven quality makes it merely average."
