[6.0] "The first quarterfinals was very fun , especially the final showdown between two crisp wrestlers, the second quarterfinals was very nondescript and the close-up eliminations meant close to nothing, the third quarterfinals was very cool, with Rich Swann & Shane Strickland showing awesome chemistry and made for a cool exciting contest despite the deflating ending, while the fourth quarterfinals felt very precise and athletic, with everybody's timing being top notch and the Fox/Nation exchanges being properly mind-blowing. A convoluted angle led to Mathis/Rory, a short and dirty deathmatch that displayed aggression and emotion, making both guys look like very viable midcarders. Hyde/Dante was a very plodding and uninteresting match. Colon/Gresham was much less exciting than the previous round, slow and tedious with an abrupt finish. Fox/End was a clash of styles that had trouble gelling, but AR Fox pushed through with a solid performance and looked extremely credible as a finalist. Cole/Callihan was a crisp intense and fluid battle, an excellent final chapter in the greatest in-ring feud CZW ever presented, with only the result being a smidge disappointing, but Sami Callihan will get a final hurrah next month. Fox/Colon flowed fairly well, as AR Fox put a lot of efforts in what was essentially a one-man performance, but this match-up had been terribly overused and felt stale, and Alex Colon continuous push simply does not work, making for a heatless match with a terrible finish that has to be the most underwhelming BOTB Finals in years. The night started extremely well, but became mundane. Cole/Callihan absolutely stole the show with a scintillating performance, but the Finals wildly missed the mark and gave a result that only generated contempt from the crowd and is one of the biggest waste CZW has done in years, something so obvious and simple and it becomes maddening."
