123.01.2017steviecw8.0A very very strong and entertaining iPPV event with the roster's 'young blood' doing goodthings and the Extreme Originals maintaining a surprising quality of work. Highlights included (but not limited to) Jerry Lynn's emotional farewell, the back and forth Facade vs Jay Bradley contest, the young team of Brian XL and Matt Tremont... and of course, the long awaited crowning of Stevie Richards as the first ever Extreme Rising World Champion. This was my first Extreme Rising event, having heard mixed reviews of the previous shows and I was very happy with the matches. Some improvements can be made to the formula and presentation (long breaks between matches/segments, technical errors and odd amounts of announcer repetition) but ultimately the matches are what count and these were pretty fun.
213.04.2014tubewaybarmy9.0Truly amazing show. Great result for Stevie Richards, plus good showing from Luke Hawx. Sad to see Jerry Lynn go but excited by how promising Facade, Bradley and BLK OUT are. Best show so far.
314.02.2014elwanning6.0From beginning to end this was a good show. Wasn't great, but still worth a watch. Stevie Richards & Luke Hawx started it off with a good match. Rhino & Devon Storm followed it up with a good match of their own. Jerry Lynn and Homicide had a decent match to celebrate Lynn's last match in Philly. BLKOUT was supposed to wrestle The Ganstas, but Mustafa couldn't make it so it became BLKOUT vs. EL Dramaticos in a cage. Shortly into it The Briscoe Brothers arrived making it a 3 way match that was entertaining. Matt Hardy vs. Sabu was a decent old school ECW match. Rhino & Richards had a good match for the Extreme Rising title, and it was really cool to see Stevie celebrate with the fans afterwards.
