[7.0] "The undercard is just okay, but the show starts to take off with the surprisingly great Kalamity vs. Sassy Stephie, the intriguing debut of Skater and Nakagawa as a tag team, and spirited encounters between Ohka/Mizanumi and Rush/Matsumoto. The Tag Titles match is an emotional roller coaster with a fitting end and a gut-punching aftermath. Athena and Ayako Hamada have a contest that, while great in its own right, feels like a warm-up for a classic rematch. Then we have the main event. By this time Saraya Knight has proven herself an utterly convincing SHIMMER Champion. In her first match with Melissa on Volume 48, she was the monster and Melissa was the people's champion in peril. Their rematch here feels different; Saraya is raw and gritty and real while Melissa looks like a Barbie doll in comparison. All in all, a strong end to 2012 and an event I recommend."
