[4.0] "The third and final MTV/WCW joint production, this time held as part of the Spring Break lineup, saw the ring set up at the Fat Tuesday resort in Cancun for another battle royal. This time there were only six participants, but it was definitely a better lineup than the Snowbrawl battle royal, and the action was probably a bit better too. Jericho wins, though it ultimately didn't mean a whole lot as he would be gone from the company a few months later. There's also the added hook of Fear Factory playing at ringside throughout the match. The announcers (the odd pairing of Jimmy Hart and Raven) were joined by Kid Rock, who didn't contribute a whole lot - not nearly as good as Rob Zombie had been at Snowbrawl - but, to be fair, also didn't actively detract from the proceedings; I've certainly seen far more objectionable stuff from him than his commentary here. The biggest mark against it was the frenetic camera work, which changed angles and bounced between the ring and Fear Factory so often that a good number of moves and spots were missed altogether, though it got a bit better towards the end of the match, and the action was solid enough to show through."
